Several VPN Client 1 LAN
Hello
We have 2 users who need to connect to our PIX 515 6.1 (4) using the client software of Cisco VPN Client 4.0.5 (Rel) on the Remote LAN Site.
they all have access to the Internet Via Watchguard Firebox and router Cisco 1712.
, but only one can access our VPN through the Cisco VPN client at the same time. When the 2nd user try to connect, the other connection of users disconnects.
Does anyone have a question?
You have this command in your pix
ISAKMP nat-traversal

Several VPN clients behind PIX
Multiple users in our company have establish a VPN client connection to a VPN Internet gateway. The connection must go through our PIX. I already active correction for esp - ike Protocol and this allows a user to get out. When following users try to configure a VPN connection to the VPN gateway on the internet, the following syslog error appears:
3 PIX-305006%: failed to create translation portmap for udp src inside:192.168.0.102/500 dst outside:1x5.x17.x54.x10/500
It seems to me that the PIX only supports an outbound VPN client connection at the time. Is this true?
When I perform a clear xlate, first user disconnects, but new users is able to establish a VPN connection.
Kind regards
Tom
That's right, Tom - in the release notes for 6.3 (1), the PAT for ESP section says "PIX Firewall version 6.3 provides protocol PAT IP 50 capacity to support unique outbound IPSec user."
If you have enough public IP addresses and the remote VPN gateway supports PPTP, then a means to achieve multiple outbound VPN connections would be to set up a separate pool of the NAT for users who require outbound access and assign internal IP addresses of those users to use these addresses.
Having had just a quick look around, if PPTP is an option, then the PPTP PAT 6.3 support can help.

Please paste the output of "sh cry run." We can check the values of life.
also, you can activate him debugs following like half an hour before that the Client waits for the time to unplug.

Have problems with the IPSec VPN Client and several target networks
I use an ASA 5520 8.2 (4) running.
My goal is to get a VPN client to access more than one network within the network, for example, I need VPN client IPSec and power establish tcp connections on servers to 192.168.210.x and 10.21.9.x and 10.21.3.x
I think I'm close to having this resolved, but seems to have a routing problem. Which I think is relevant include:
Net1: 192.168.210.0/32
NET2: 10.21.0.0/16
NET2 has several subnets defined VIRTUAL local network:
DeviceManagement (vlan91): 10.21.9.0/32
Servers (vlan31): 10.21.3.0/32

When a user establishes a VPN connection, their local routing tables have routes through the tunnel to the 10.21.0.0/16 and the 192.168.210.0/32.
They are only able to communicate with the network 192.168.210.0/32, however.
I tried to add the following, but it does not help:

router ID - 192.168.210.1

Can anyone help me please with this problem? There could be a bunch of superfluous things here, and if you could show me, too, I'd be very happy. If you need more information on the config, I'll be happy to provide.
Hello Kenneth,
Based on the appliance's routing table, I can see the following
C 10.21.9.0 255.255.255.0 is directly connected, DeviceManagement
C 10.21.3.0 255.255.255.0 is directly connected, servers
C 192.168.210.0 255.255.255.0 is directly connected to the inside
And you try to connect to the 3 of them.
Politics of Split tunnel is very good, the VPN configuration is fine
The problem is here
NO_NAT list of allowed ip extended access all 172.31.255.0 255.255.255.0
NAT (inside) 0-list of access NO_NAT
Dude, you point to just inside interface and 2 other subnets are on the device management interface and the interface of servers... That is the question
Now how to solve
NO_NAT ip 192.168.210.0 access list allow 255.255.255.0 172.31.255.0 255.255.255.0

Cisco VPN Client cannot ping from LAN internal IP
Hello
I apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge about it, but I got a version of the software running ASA 5510 7.2 (2) and has been invited to set up a site with a client, I managed to get this configured and everything works fine. In addition, I created a group of tunnel ipsec-ra for users to connect to a particular server 192.168.10.100/24 remote, even if the connection is made successfully, I can not ping any IP on the LAN 192.168.10.0/24 located behind the ASA and when I ping inside the interface on the ASA it returns the public IP address of the external interface.
If someone out there could give me a little push in the right direction, it would be much appreciated! This is the current configuration of the device.
Thanks in advance.

Hello
Seems to me that you are atleast lack the NAT0 configuration for your VPN Client connection.
This configuration is intended to allow the VPN Client to communicate with the local network with their original IP addresses. Although the main reason that this is necessary is to avoid this traffic to the normal rule of dynamic PAT passing this traffic and that traffic is falling for the corresponding time.
You can add an ACL rule to the existing ACL NAT0, you have above and the NAT configuration should go next
Add this
permit inside_nat0_outbound to access extended list ip 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.11.0 255.255.255.0
Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes

Unable to access the VPN Client LAN
I configured a 877 for VPN Client Access. The Client authenticates and connects and receives an IP address off the coast of the pool of intellectual property. However, he is unable to access anything on the IP network.
I have included my router config. The VPN Client is v5.0.05.0290.
Any ideas on what I'm missing?
Can try reverse our ACL VPN-Client, I think that it is written in the wrong way
For example:
VPN-Client extended IP access list
Note * permit VPN Client pool *.
IP enable any 192.168.201.0 0.0.0.255
or more precise
VPN-Client extended IP access list
Note * permit VPN Client pool *.
192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 ip permit 192.168.201.0 0.0.0.255

ASA 5520: Remote VPN Clients cannot ping LAN, Internet
I've set up a few of them in my time, but I am confused with this one. Can I establish connect via VPN tunnel but I can't ping or go on the internet. I searched the forum for similar and found a little issues, but none of the fixes seem to match. I noticed a strange thing is when I run ipconfig/all of the vpn client, the IP address that has been leased over the Pool of the VPN is also the default gateway!
I have attached the config. Help, please.
Thank you!
Exemption of NAT ACL has not yet been applied.
NAT (inside) 0-list of access Inside_nat0_outbound
In addition, you have not split tunnel, not sure you were using internet ASA for the vpn client internet browsing.
You can also enable icmp inspection if you test in scathing:
Policy-map global_policy
class inspection_defaultinspect the icmp
Hope that helps.

LAN ASA 5505 VPN client access issue
Hello
I'm no expert in ASA and routing so I ask support the following case.
There is a (running on Windows 7) Cisco VPN client and an ASA5505.
The objectives are client can use the gateway remote on SAA for Skype and able to access devices in SAA within the interface.
The Skype works well, but I can't access devices in the interface inside through a VPN connection.
Can you please check my following config and give me any advice to fix NAT or VPN settings?

Routing problem between the VPN Client and the router's Ethernet device
Hello
I have a Cisco 1721 in a test environment.
A net 172.16.0.0/19 simulates the Internet and a net 192.168.1.0/24 simulates the net, the VPN tunnel must go to (intranet).
The net 172.16.0.0 depends on the router 0 FastEthernet, Intranet (VPN) hangs on Ethernet 0.
The configuration was inspired form the sample Configuration
"Configuring the Client VPN Cisco 3.x for Windows to IOS using Local extended authentication"
and the output of the ConfigMaker configuration.
Authentication and logon works. Client receives an IP address from the pool. But there's a routing problem
side of routers. Ping client-side - do not work (the VPN client statistics that count encrypt them packets, but not to decrypt).
Ping the router works too, but decrypt and encrypt customer statistics in VPN packets count progressive
(customer has a correct route and return ICMP packets to the router).
The question now is:
How to route packets between the Tunnel and an Ethernet device (Ethernet 0)?
conf of the router is attached - hope that's not too...
Thanks & cordially
Thomas Schmidt

Thomas,
Can't wait to show something that might be there, but I don't see here. You do not have the card encryption applied to one of the interfaces, perhaps it was not copied. Assuming your description you do it, or should it be, applied to the fa0 and you are connected. Try how you ping? Since the router or a device located on E0? If you ping the router, you will need to do an extended ping of E0 to the ip address of the client has been assigned. If your just ping the router without the extension, you will get sales and decrypts that you declare on the client. Have you tried to ping from the client to interface E0? Your default route on the router is pointing to fa0? You have a next hop to affect? You have several NIC on the client pc? Turn off your other network cards to check that you don't have a problem with routing on the client if you have more than one.

Cannot ping via the VPN client host when static NAT translations are used
Hello, I have a SRI 3825 configured for Cisco VPN client access.
There are also several hosts on the internal network of the static NAT translations have a services facing outwards.
Everything works as expected with the exception that I cannot ping hosts on the internal network once connected via VPN client that is internal IP addresses have the static NAT translations in external public addresses, I ping any host that does not have static NAT translation.
For example, in the example below, I cannot ping 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2, but I can ping to the internal interface of the router, and any other host on the LAN, I can ping all hosts in the router itself.
Any help would be appreciated.

wireless router with built-in vpn client
It depends on. Most of the VPN routers (wired and wireless) will support a tunnel from gateway to gateway, i.e. you can connect your LAN to another LAN remote. You can define tunnels to multiple locations if needed. However, all the LANs - local and remote - must use unique IP subnets. You cannot connect a 192.168.1. * LAN a 192.168.1. * Remote LAN for example.
What is not possible is to connect via remote arbitrary router to connect a single computer to the Remote LAN, as you can do with the VPN client.

SonicWALL NSA, using VPN client overall comments to reach network of internal resources
Hello
I have problems performing Global VPN client to work when you connect to our internal network of comments in order to reach our internal LAN Server in order to reach internal resources in a safe manner. I'm not sure what could the settings were necessary in the Sonicwall to achieve?
Our installation is based on the NSA 3600 and I installed a WLAN area in the sonicwall to enable clients to connect to the internet. Traffic in the WLAN area to our internal LAN Server is denied. However, some users would like to be able to use the wireless network in order to achieve internal resources and for that I want to use the Global VPN client. It is even possible to use of an internal network from the point of view Sonicwalls Global VPN client?
The use of the outside Global VPN client works very well
Any help is greatly appreciated and if more detailed configuration information are necessary, I'll happily give you that.
Thank you
Hi Ben,
No I didn't at first, but your answers have would lead me in the right direction, hopefully. I realized that I could create a custom GroupVPN by going to the settings of the interface to the interface that is the war in the Gulf to my wireless network.

Thank you

SonicWALL VPN Client does not connect
I use Windows 10 Pro. I can install the NEW Client VPN (4.9.0.2012) very well. When I put in information that works very well. It will even connected, the first time, when you have completed the installation. Here's the crazy part. I can't disable the VPN client. When I try to ACTIVATE the connection he wants to use a telephone line. I can uninstall the client software and tell him NOT to keep data. I can reinstall the client and it will connect the first time. After that it will not. I have already told him to use LAN ONLY entered in the network settings. Only, it crashes and then trying to acquire IP.
Norman
I think you are talking about the Global VPN Client. You must uninstall this version of CVM and install the most recent of 4.9.4.0306 which has been validated to run on Windows 10.

Problems to connect via the Cisco VPN client IPSec of for RV180W small business router
Hello
I tried to configure my router Cisco of RV180W as a customer VPN IPSec, but have encountered a problem that I hope someone can help me with. "" I managed to do the work of configuration so that the Cisco's VPN IPSec client authenticates successfully with the XAUTH user, I put on the router, but during the negotiation, the client ends with the following, which appears several times on the router error message: ' Mar 20 Oct 19:41:53 2015 (GMT + 0000): [r1] [IKE] ERROR: local configuration for
> [34360] has no config mode. I've read around the internet and a number of people seem to say that the Cisco VPN Client is not compatible with the router, but the same thing happens to my iPhone VPN client.
Is it possible that this can be implemented? Below, I have attached the full configuration files and the log files. Thank you much in advance.

Correct, the RV180 is not compatible with the Cisco VPN Client. The Iphone uses the Cisco VPN Client.
You can use the PPTP on the RV180 server to connect a PPTP Client.
In addition, it RV180 will allow an IPsec connection to third-party customers 3. Greenbow and Shrew Soft are 2 commonly used clients.

Remote administration of a PIX running as a VPN client
Hello
I have a setup where a PIX501 works as a VPN client upward against my central VPN3000 concentrator (LAN-2-LAN with NAT - T mode).
External interface of the pix is behind a firewall managed by ISP to the remote end, and get it via DHCP IP address.
So far so good. This configuration works hotel.
The problem is that I can't ssh/telnet to the external interface of the PIX due to this configuration.
Would it not possible to ssh/telnet to the remote pix _inside_ interface?
I guess stuff NAT Bennett, but I can't make it work.
Any ideas?
(: O) Mikkle
This is possible by commands:
management-access inside
It works very well as I have used both inside interface is included in all the crypto config
