  Always recommended to reset the airport back to settings by default and then set up again whenever you have a new modem or change your Internet Service provider.

  Turn off the new modem for at least 30 minutes. More is better.

  Perform a hard reset on the AirPort Extreme, then it turned off.

  Make sure that the Ethernet cable connects the modem to the "O" on the AirPort Extreme WAN port

  After the power of the modem 30 minutes down, turn on the modem and let it run for at least 5 minutes by itself.

  Then, turn on the airport and let it run a few minutes

  Set up AirPort Extreme again

  Important note... There are many reports of problems with the modem Arris SB and airports. Both are great products, but they do seem to work perfectly together for some users.

  I have a Toshiba laptop 64 bit running Windows 10 Home, 8 GB, 1 t hard drive.

  I have an iPhone running iOS 9.3.2 6s (last updated).

  (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

  (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

  (8) backup and restore the device using iTunes (ask for more details if you wish).

  Hello, I just got my Xperia Z3 but wifi is not connecting.

  Im trying to connect the TV via wifi direct to my router from linksys e4200. the router has wifi direct.  my pc is connected to the router via a network cable. the idea here is that I want to push films to the router, then to the tv via wifi direct.

  the problem is that the tv refuses to connect to the router told me just recording failed. Ive tried the pin of my router still nothing ive disabled the security still has nothing, Ive used the method push button and still nothing.

My Virgin router to short on a range of address DHCP IP of 192.168. 0. * and my iPad suddenly won't connect unless the beach is 192.168. 1. * or higher.  (It connected OK for 2 years).  It took weeks to find this out, but at least now I can connect.  I turned on the wifi of comments because it uses the gamme.1.  Everything is good, connects the first time, every time!  I have not tried establishing a password (I was so happy, it connected I left because it was... well as I switch on the MAC filtering, for a little extra protection) I could try side password later and if it still connect, I'll update my post.

  My solution is very well when I'm at home but is not going to help if I get the iPad with me - it will be hit & miss if I can get the WiFi also.  Must be set correctly - I see no that it is hardware related, so there must be a bug in the software/firmware.

  Anyone having problems connecting to wifi can try the workaround network comments - at least it will get you.
