Hello
Can you try to insert a flash drive into one of the USB ports on the printer, to make sure she reads it?
The printer port may be what gives you the question. In addition, you can try the USB printer connected to another PC?

OfficeJet Officejet Pro 8500 has more eAiO Scan to computer scans only part of the Document
I am trying to scan my Officejet Officejet Pro 8500 has more eAiO scan to my iMac (Mac OS X 10.6.8).) IT scans only part of the document is scanned. However, when I copy it, the entire document is printed. I was looking for, if I could change this on the officet, or the system of preferences on my mac, but couldn't find anything on the 8500. On mac, I could change something, but it was only the scans on insiders from my computer.
Scanning directly from the Officejet comes in very handy when the digitization of books, with one hand, I have to push it and the iMac is not in reach of the officejet...
Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the printer and everything works fine...
Thanks for any help.

Vista 32 bit does not start after the mode 'sleep'
I have Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP2. I put the computer in standby mode and the next day morning tapped the keyboard space bar to wake him up. I have a Logitech G15 game keyboard with an LCD display, it began to rise, then I noticed all the keyboard lights were flickering. The system never started and the screen remains black. I took the cover off my PC and noticed that fans have been "forced" for about 1 second then remains off for a period of about 5-7 seconds before the pulse on once again. This is repeated. I pressed on the power switch for the computer for 20 seconds, without result. I disabled the power supply directly for about 20 seconds, he turned back and have the same pulse. Then I unplugged the power cord to supply POWER, same year, same net effect. I've checked all my connections, etc., everything is in order. I got an iPod touch connected to the computer via the USB port before sleep. But I perfrmed this function several times one never had a problem. I of course got the thing first USB when I started my problem. I guess it's one thing to the BONE, but what's my line? Thanks much for any help!
A little late on the answer, but he had nothing to do with food. I was able to solve the problem by turning off the computer, unplug and burst the battery from the motherboard, let it rest a bit, then put it back together and bam, I'm back in business. I think it's a problem between the motherboard BIOS and Hibernate commands put off by * Vista and the only way to stop the loop is the above afformentioned. Everyone always wants to blame the food for these issues... Now PS can cause really strange but common problems...

I have an Acer Aspire X 1200 desktop equipped with a NVIDIA NForce network controller. About 1 week ago I was browsing the internet, Norton anti-virus popped up and told me to renew my subscription. Now, I've never had Norton on my computer and when you click Remind Me later, my internet crashed. Now the whenever I plug my ethernet cable in the box, it connects to my router Motorola 5BS101 surfboard, but it does not connect to the Internet. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium. I tried to run malware programs remover, thinking it was a malware, nothing done. I tried to run to remove virus and nothing. I tried to change the IP address to my my laptop was broadcasting, because the internet runs on it, but no results. When using the command prompt to find out what the problem is, it says the active IP routing: routing WINS unactivated: No. looking at the stats of network adapters, it says active DHCP: No. address IPv6 local link: fe80::15f9:58e2:c2d8:66e7 10%
Autoconfiguration IPv4: 169.254.102.231. Also using ipconfig / renew, said the message DHCP is not enabled. Are you sure you never had a Norton trial subscription on your computer?
Norton will do strange things.

My printer was given to me and will loop continuously: it starts and displays the progress bar, operates the head printer port.

Configure and analyze the Officejet Pro 8500 a - 910 problems has
HP Officejet Pro 8500 has - 910, Win 7 Home Premium (64). Two problems, maybe!
1. no response when I click on "scan a Document or Photo - open the scan dialog box.
2. impossible to set up 'Scan to network folder Wizard' get error "...". cannot write to the destination folder. "Set read-only permissions or wrong."
Downloaded the latest version of the software, twice, but still failed to get a scan on my computer file.
Copy on the printer works fine.
Right click on the folder specified to send the scan to and under the modification of the properties to read only to shared. Also, your operating system must be password protected, so if you do not have a password, create one. You have a particular anti virus or 3rd party firewall? Under manage scanning settings in the HP software scans enabled?

Gibberish print on HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 has more in a single 910
Files Adobe PDF prints gibberish, sometimes on my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has most everything one - sometimes in a part of the page it's gibberish, sometimes all this, sometimes none of that.
Good news. A specialist technology mine fixed simply by running a repair on my installed Adobe program. Don't know how she is, but she said it has an option to run a repair and it did. I had many phone HP technicians and business software tech trying to solve this problem over the last 3 years. YAA! And technicians called Yaa (migrant from Africa).

Windows Server 2008 OS is not acceptable for Officejet Pro 8500 has more
I am installing an Officejet Pro 8500 has more on a network that contains just a Windows Server 2008 R2 (64-bit) computer and a bunch of zero clients. I read the document "installation of the software of the printer on Windows Server 2003 or 2008" including the updated title hope in my heart. Unfortunately when I followed the instructions to install from a. MSI file, I get an error message saying "this computer's operating system is not supported", as can be seen in
https://www.dropbox.com/s/oi3ur31frg8dhi3/HP%20error%20via%20MSI.PNG
I am able to print to this device I have widower of drivers from Microsoft Update, but I want to be able to scan with it.
I solved this problem by installing the complete package on a Vista laptop then set up a network folder on the server for the scanned images. I then unplugged the laptop from the LAN and now I can scan using the front panel of the printer/scanner and images appear on the shared folder of Server 2008.

Can I print posters 2 x 2 or 4 x 4 with Officejet Pro 8500 has? I am running Windows 7.
Hello
The 8500 (A910) driver is not support printing posters.
To work around the problem, you can use another pilot who provide the required functionality:
- Enter the control panel > devices and printers, click Add Printer .
- Click on Add a local printer.
- In use the existing Port, select the port for your printer:
DOT4 if your printer is connected by USB
If standard TCP/IP network connection used.
And then click Next. - Click Windows Update in the list of printers, allow several minutes for what the list will apear again.
- Select HP in the column of manufacturing
- Select the printers HP Deskjet 6980 series column.
- All the steps in the wizard.
Now, you will be able to use the print feature post using the driver 6980, by setting the option Pages per sheet and poster in the finishing tab.
