WiFi radio in xyboard

The Droid has Xyboard 10.1 radio 2.4 ghz and 5 GHz, built in? I have some terrible reception even though I'm 10 feet away a good router.

to answer my own question Yes it supports 5 GHz and it made a huge difference in the speed and autonomy. So if you have problems with slow Wi - Fi switch to 5 GHz.

I have a X 301 S/N xx-xxxxx computer laptop installed with Vista Business Professional 64 - bit SP1. A few days ago, I updated the drivers via ThinkVantage "Update my system" tool, including the WiFi pilot. Now I have the Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN driver 13.2.0.30 version. After installing this driver WiFI Radio does not work: it is not possible to turn on the WiFi radio.

Program has been installed during this update Intel PROSet/Wireless tools. In the menu to diagnose the hardware test fails for this device, claiming that the wireless adapter is disabled or uninstalled. However, if I look at the control panel-> device-> ECS Manager-> Intel(r) WiFi Link 5300 AGN-> (right click) properties-> tab driver, then I see that the device is turned on.

I should add that the original driver worked perfectly and now it is very annoying that I can't use WiFi at all. Please, give me help how to solve this problem. Anyway, I don't know what the right solution or the pilot, so please help me. I am very frustrated because I downloaded everthing officially using the given by Lenovo ThinkVantage tool. I thought that these drivers offered by this tool have been tested.

  • WiFi radio adapter off, the USB ports does not and the Bluetooth adapter is no longer visible... Please help!

I had my laptop Dell Vostro repaired under insurance in January 2013 after a spill of liquid.  HAAC Ltd. has replaced most of the laptop - but the return, the SD card did not work.  This seems to be due to the engineer he connects not properly and the company recommended it and returned it to me again.  A couple of months, I found my USB was temperamental - so is my built in Bluetooth adapter.   Last month - the wifi does not work for most of the time either so I have to connect to my router by wire.

This could be a problem in windows 7 - all my problems seem to be related to network adapters.  If it's a hardware problem - does anyone know if it could be another loose connection?  HAAC Ltd. only give a 3 month warranty on parts that seems just a little.  But if this anomaly is due to the production of poor quality - that is not properly connect the laptop then I'll go back their again if they are responsible.

By the way – there's a switch wifi on the front of the laptop - but is not currently be recognized.

If anyone has settings that I could check that can help - especially if some inhibit the use of wifi.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

Your wifi switch not recognized is probably a hardware problem. The rest could be a hardware or software problem.

    Method 1:

Lets start by doing a reset to coercive. Follow these steps:

    1. Unplug the notebook (remove power cord), then remove the battery.
    2. Disconnect all USB devices and the connections between the USB ports.
    3. Let the laptop only for several minutes.
    4. Then plug the power cord without connecting the USB devices. Then replace the battery.
    5. Plug each device in turn, allowing them to load the drivers of devices one at a time (plug in the appliance and wait its loading all its drivers before installing the next USB).

The computer recognizes the USB ports? All of them or none of them?

    Method 2:

Open Control Panel, Manager of design. Click the view tab, and then click Show all devices. From there, you can remove all instances of USB devices and restart the computer to see if the problem resolves. Repeat this procedure with the wireless adapter (uninstall and reinstall, ensuring that there is only one instance of the wireless adapter).

    Method 3:

Create a new user account by following the instructions in this article:   http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/Windows7/Create-a-user-account . Does this solve the problem?  If the problem is resolved in a new user account, this means that the old user profile is damaged. Here is the link to repair a damaged user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile.

Try these methods and post your results here. I'll be here waiting for the results!

  • WiFi lost with lid down

Just bought a HP-15-G094SA laptop (laptop 15.6 "with Windows 8.1). Whenever I close the lid of the laptop, I lose the wifi connectivity.

I checked the power settings to make sure that the wifi adapter is activated permanently. Also went to control panel-> network and sharing-> adapter change settings-> right click on wifi network connected-> properties-> configure-> management power - > uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

None of these solved the problem.

I would use the laptop with lid closed by this pluggin thanks to my TV via a HDMI cable, but cannot because of the loss of wifi.

    Hello again Fil1404,

It is good to hear from you again!

Because changing the power settings in the control panel menu has not resolved your problem, I recommend you load the drivers software and hardware of origin provided with your computer. This can be done by following this document on the use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8). To update the drivers newly installed, please follow this document using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8).

If the WiFi radio disables always after closing the lid, I recommended to perform a backup and restore of your operating system. This can be done by following this document on the backup of files (Windows 8), and more to perform a recovery of the HP (Windows 8) system. This should help get your system back to factory settings.

If the problem persists, please call our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number.

  • Tecra S11 - 11G - external monitor flickers when the Wifi is enabled

I have a similar problem on my brand new Tecra S11 - 11G. The only difference is that the problem is present only when I have my laptop plugged in and turned on WiFi radio.

If I turn the Wifi radio off and keep the laptop connected to the power source, the external screen keeps flickering. If I keep the WiFi radio and disconnect it from the power source blinking stops, too.

I reported this problem to Toshiba customer to the Portugal (where I bought it) and they gave me the ticket case #710008193. They said that they would not replace the defective unit and that I should leave for repair. It is absolutely amazing because the laptop is brand new. A customer still expects to have a well work product when needed out of the box without having to call the repair man. I think it is their obligation to replace the damaged aircraft. In addition, this laptop is part of a fleet of the company who buys only Toshiba laptops and we are talking about a Tecra and not a Satellite. We deserve more respect from Toshiba.

In a year or two, I have a new laptop (company policy) and it surely won't be a Toshiba.

    > They said they would not replace the defective unit and that I should leave for repair. It is absolutely amazing because the laptop is brand new

That is why amazing? A hardware malfunction can still happen and this happens not only in the world of the computer/laptop. Therefore, manufacturers provide a service to a client and failure may be fixed and covered by the warranty.

    > A customer still waiting to have a well work product when needed out of the box without having to call the repair man. I think it is their obligation to replace the damaged aircraft

Of course you are right, but in the reality of things happening.
My PS3 died after a short period of time. It has been fixed and replaced under warranty conditions, but this isn't a reason for me to say; I would not buy PS3 more because of this problem.
My BMW had some engine problems, that it was fixed under warranty and I would buy this car again once because this car is great and I think other builders are no better, and I think this would also happen to other manufacturers

That s my personal opinion in the opinion

  • Why my Macbook Air poster as a bridge to my Wifi network?

We fight network gremlins in our small office.  We have an unnecessarily complicated network topology, but I don't think that the 'complexity' network is the fundamental issue (guess total).  Here's the situation.

Periodically, we have network problems that range from individual devices or IP phones, problems at the Internet, across the Office of failures.  The Internet seems to be stable during the network problems and is also big enough to handle the traffic.  There seems to be no problem with the Internet itself - FYI...  We have a mix of Mac and PC, printers, file server and IP phones using the network.  The network is a mix of wifi devices connected and wired devices (PC/Mac wifi wired connected...printers/phones in General).

The network itself is as follows:

AirOS WAP which does not respect NOT IPs, just toward the life of a HP switch, which in turn is connected to a D-Link router that handles DHCP.  D - Link is then connected to our Internet modem.  The AirOS WAP is used because it is the signal strength and performance are supposed to be better than the performance of the D-Link wifi.  Note: The wifi radio is turned OFF on the D-Link.  All attached devices appear in the ARP table on the device from D-Link (as expected).

But and I finally get to my question on the AirOS my MacBook Air (El Capitan) is displayed in the ARP table under a bridge.  It is the only device that appears in the ARP table besides than the D-Link (showing also as a bridge - what is planned).  In other words, my Mac "is differently from any other device in the office, we want to eliminate as a potential problem."

Any who have thoughts on why my Mac is illustrated as a bridge.  I checked my network settings and nothing seems out of the ordinary on my laptop.  (only the bridge I find together are thunderbolt - that is NOT connected)

I'm sure that someone has an idea or two on why my device showing as a gateway into our network, and if this could be a problem.

    Thank you.

After the Ubiquiti AirOS AP firmware up-to-date have been upgraded - if it is not already there - you have Ubiquiti why their software of AirOS reports what is shown.   AirOS has many configuration options and can be configured to distribute the signals with multiple devices Wi - Fi - what you see here, what version of AirOS is involved, how the device is configured, it is something that people of Ubiquiti are likely better to troubleshoot.

The only way that I expect to see a Mac acting as a bridge is via system preferences > sharing > Internet sharing or maybe lower configurations of command line for access to these parameters.   If Internet sharing is disabled, I would not expect OS X works as a bridge.

I would be the network inventory and nettoieriez configuration.   (Set in bridge) modem, firewall, to move, to cables and AP (s) systems.   I would use connections wired to the APs when possible and WDS where not.

If you have the OS X Server autour (this forum), then those who need static IP addresses and will probably also want to wired connections for performance reasons.

If one of the servers in use is accessible from the outside, we can a required more complex network configuration if you want to isolate the damage caused by a failure of the server.

Wi - Fi can have serious interference problems in some areas.  Interference can wreak havoc with the connections Wi - Fi and AP, that can walls and anything that can block signals.

If it's really a D-Link router (like the series DSR, etc.) and not a D-Link gateway area, these routers are not very effective firewall.   He worked with one of these.   Really hard to guarantee.    Not what they are built, either.

  • configuration settings (4 G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS...)

    Hello

someone knows how to easily change the settings of the GPS, Bluetooth, 4 G,... thanks to a profile or something?

I went recently to Android to iOS, but I had on Android, an app that had these built-in parameters: I just had to click on the preset 'car' and my GPS, Bluetooth and 4G have been activated my wifi is disabled automatically.

If I clicked on the 'home' the phone automatically activated my WiFi profile and turned off the Bluetooth, 4G and GPS...

does anyone have an idea to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Iwein

There should be no need to do so. Why do you think it's necessary? Leave things like bluetooth and WiFi turned on does not consume a significant amount of energy. There is no need to turn off LTE, because all what he would do would be to slow down your cellular data connection. If you are connected to WiFi, WiFi will be used instead of cellular data. The WiFi radio turn off when the phone is in standby mode and not connected to power.

  • WNDR4500V3 cannot schedule power on/off wifi

    My router is:
    NETGEAR WNDR4500V3 with firmware V1.0.0.32
I can't get the unit to turn off the radio wireless using the annex under configuration/advanced/Advanced wireless connection settings.

I select 'Disable signal wireless in the annex' under 'Start' then I go to 23:00 and 'End' I 06:00, and then click 'apply '. I watch as the router saves the parameters and flashes the lights of wifi and I think that everything is fine. However, nothing is come 23:00.
I even switched the time think 'start' lie that wifi radios should turn on and the 'end' is when radio stations were shut down. Still nothing happens. I clicked and highlighted the small circle under the thought of 'Period' that would activate the calendar... No luck.
I don't know where the setting is for the date and time, or if the router has such a context. If you can not set the date and time, what the router to know when to do something?
I checked and I have the latest firmware
I don't want to continue to unplug/turn off the router at 23:00 and turn it back on at 06:00.
It shouldn't require a brain surgen to achieve this unit works properly.
Other than this 'ghlitch' the router works fine.
Thanks for any help on this.

  • Wireless switch on, but the green light is turned OFF so WiFi doesn't work do not

    Hello

Sony VAIO VGN-FE780G with Windows 8.

Wireless switch starts giving the problem for the past 1-2 years. The green light is used for down working on laptop, usually as he used to come down as soon as you move the laptop little. I used to move the cursor to the market and push it a little to make it ON. This is usually used to make green and wifi, used to work.

Last week the green light went off and then even after trying to do ON dragging to MARKET or pushing, sound not to become green.

My guess is that the switch had bad connection and now it has finally broken from the inside.

What is the solution? I can open the laptop and fix it?

    Kind regards

    Sachin

    raklow364:

Although the VGNFE780G initially provided with Windows XP and is not supported for Windows 8, I would say that if you had Windows 8 working on the PC to WiFi before, this seems to indicate a problem of material with the switch.

Have you tried opening the charm of settings in Windows 8, and clicking on the PC to change settings link, then wireless to see if the WiFi radio has been disabled in the settings?

  • Bug WiFi

anyone else have problems with wifi with the Bionic? I searched and see people have problems connecting to different access points, but I have a different problem. When I turn on the wifi radio, it takes forever to enter the access point that I'm close. I could be sitting next to. This happens at home and at work with acess points, so there is no consistency here. When I turn on the Wifi, the small icon above is sometimes even for 4 or 5 minutes. It's a very long latency time. I can turn off wifi and back on a few times, but does not seem to make it all faster. Once I finally see the icon it immediately connects to the access points. I even stay connected as I should for a long period of time, with the screen of the phone going off, etc.. It's just this first initial research and radio alarm clock that takes a lot of time. All this experience?

  • S3-391-9606. Please help me replace the wifi/wireless module?

This S3-391-9606 is under warranty by Fry, but I don't want to be considered for an indefinite period. The last time, it took weeks.

The wifi radio is not reliable. I'm sure it's a hardware problem, because various factors made no difference. I am currently using a Realtek USB radio which works perfectly. However, Bluetooth is often puff, and I suspect that the same module that provides the wifi feature is also Bluetooth.

I really need the USB port and reliable Bluetooth, want to replace the module radio. Pouvez you help me to identify and find the right article? Special precautions?

And while in there, I will clean the cooling system.

    Thank you!

  • The HP 7 more have built in wifi

    Specifications:

    LAN wireless (802.11b/g/n)

It is easier to access the web...

WiFi is a radio network that must be in the range of a wifi transmitter.  Emission to house units are called "routers", when in public near "Wifi HotSpot" you just have to turn on the wifi radio, then follow the instructions provided by the place by sending the signal to connect.

This is different from a "3G or 4G" model that uses a cell phone signal (and requires a cellular service to apply).  HP offers tablets with 'Free For Life' 4G connections, but the amount of data that you get for free is VERY limited.  What do you expect the tablet to do?

When you have wifi turned on, often you will see in the upper left corner (the "Notification area") an icon say you "Wifi networks are available.

    If you are either:

    1. too far from a wifi signal, or

    2. haven't turned on wifi.

You will receive the error you see.

I highly recommend reading the User Guide for this device.  It can answer many fundamental questions you ask.
