OfficeJet Pro 8728: Officejet Pro 8728 and instant ink

I received my new printer, a Pro OfficeJet 8728. Around the box, she mentions that she is instant ink compatible and is supplied with instant ink cartridges. I installed them and try to enter the instant the ink program for my 4 month free trial, however the site hpconnected says that my printer is not compatible...

Help!

Hello

Another approach to try is to restore settings factory via SAP:

  1. Go to the integrated Web server and IP address of the printer as 10.10.52.76;
  2. Click on settings-> default settings-> Restore Factory Defaults (see the screenshots below for more details);

  • OfficeJet Pro 8170: Pending instant ink?

    Hello!

CEN I hope help with this question. I bought my OfficeJet Pro 8170 steeplechase, finished the installation program and is enrolled in the InstantInk no problem. Connected HP says that my printer is online and ready to use, and it is registered to instant ink HP. However, on the printer itself, the display shows he still expects the Onlune Setup progress remaining to be done. It's me invites to go to hpinstantink.com, but I did it, and this site shows me that the recruitment is done so. I can't make the view on the change of printer and I can't turn it off - the printer comes repeatedly prompts to complete the installation even if I already did.

I unplugged the printer and plugged in; Once the printer reconnected to my wireless network, he returned to offer me the options of 'Instant Ink HP no.' or 'Wait '.

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Is your printer the 8710 Officejet Pro I think the printer is working as my Officejet Pro 8620 - you can sign up for the moment of ink, but the subscription (and charges) will not start until you install one or more instant ink cartridges in the printer.  You should be able to say "No. HP Instant Ink" in the Setup and use installation cartridges until they are exhausted.  When the cartridges of configuration are exhausted, you can replace them with instant ink cartridges and your subscription will start.

If you wish to contact instant ink HP people go to https://instantink.hpconnected.com/ and scroll down the page a bit.  There will be a link to the chat or telephone near the top right of the page

When I go to my account and trying to figure out how many pages I printed since the first installation of my printer HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one, it does not give me this information.  Is it because I have not installed the new instant HP replacement ink cartridges that were sent to me after that I signed up for the program?  I always use the cartridges supplied with the printer.  If I put the replacement cartridges, it will start following my impression?

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

The answer is, "I think, Yes."  The smile.

I do not use the service, although I recently ask you a few questions about it when I had the chance.

    I remember well:

Instant ink cartridges are not magic; they are different from ordinary ink cartridges, and there is a way by which the service is able to keep track of the use of ink.

To get credit, I think that you need move to your new cartridges.

  • WANT 5540: usb connection and instant ink

Waiting for the delivery today of ENVY5540 printer. You want to install on wired network via USB printer and also enjoy the option of instant ink. Is this possible or do I have to configure the printer to connect wireless to the router?

    Hi @daveydd

I think that you don't need to leave the pritner on permanently.

In fact, when printer is turned on and connected to your home network, whenever it prints, the printer will count pages to the subscription type.

If you do not have instant ink service after the trial, don't forget to terminate service scared you get charged for the subscription!

    Enjoy!

  • USB connection and instant ink

I received the new configuration of 8720 after some tense minutes install cartridges setup.  I'm addicted to my pc via the usb cable.  If I want to instant ink, I understand that I must connect the printer directly to the wireless router.  I don't then leave the printer on all the time?  I usually turn it on, print what I need and then turn it off.   I do not print always everyday.

  • Reuse a hpeprint email and instant ink

I used to have an old hp printer, I think a 3500 with configuration of e-mail hpeprint is possible to transfer this e-mail from the old unused printer which has been recycled and deleted my account to connect some time ago (over a year) to a new ENVY HP e-all-in-one printer 5532 who I just to purchase when you sign up it says email is taken , but I understand that he should be released after six months due to the protection of data.
Is also ok e-all-in-one HP ENVY 5532 for use on instant ink program said 5530 is the same for snapshot of ink

    Hi moliver2810,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I see that you started a second thread the question whether your desire 5532 is compatible with the current snapshot of HP ink program.  You also wanted to know if you can reuse an ePrint e-mail address you had once.

Regarding the program snapshot of HP ink, yes 5532 envy is a printer supported for the current program of ink instant.   I've included a link to the web for instant program of HP ink. If you need assistance using instant ink program please call HP Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region. If you do not live the USA/Canada region, please click the link below to find technical support for your country/region number.

Once email ePrint has been claimed, is not available to reclaim. At the same time, it was believed by many that he would become available after 6 months had expired but that the information was incorrect. I apologize if this has caused any inconvenience.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610 A7F64A: OfficeJet Pro 8610 w / instant ink prints extra pages quite often!

Love the unit, however many times, when I print, I get a page kicks that tells me how many characters was on the document, number of pages, date of creation, edition, etc...     Of course with the ink HP moment, which costs me a page and I don't like.   What is the cause and how do I stop him?   See the example...

The page is printing is the Microsoft Word document properties page.  You can disable this option as follows (Instructions are for the 2013 Word, other versions would be similar): click file, Options, view and uncheck the box 'print the document properties '.

  • HP Officejet Pro 6830: Instant ink sign up, site Web, reset password connection and why start using immediately?

I have a few questions and problems...

I signed up for the moment of ink and placed on hold since I just bought my printer. I don't need instant cartridges since I just bought my printer and got new ones with the printer.  is there a scenario where it would be sensible to get instant ink hp going to as soon as you get a new printer?  wouldn't you want to use the cartridges you get and delay the instnat hp ink until you need new ink cartridges?

Second, I got ink in the mail even if I put it on hold.

Thirdly, I am trying to log on to the instant the ink site but my username and password do not work and the password reset function won't send me an email to reset my password.

Fourthly, I received an offer of $25 with printer eligible purchase and hp ink signup discount, which i did, and I had to to receive email from hp to submit the $25 discount.  I don't have this e-mail.

so far not a very good experience for this going.

Hi dabrooks, even if you register in the instant the ink program the service does not start and you are not charged until you insert the first game to instant ink cartridges that you receive. The pages that you print using the cartridges supplied with the printer are not counted as part of your monthly pages quota and you are therefore quite correct to use these supplies until they are exhausted, how you install the game of instant cartridges you received when registering in the program. Once you insert these into your printer, the service is enabled and the number of pages you print is followed by the service.

For other issues that you mention in your post, I would recommend contacting the instant ink dedicated support team here. Fill in the required fields and click on the button to display the options where you can select the phone or chat to get help.

Hope this information helps and that you get your other issues fixed in a Masson in due time by the support team.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro 8610: HP Offijet Pro 8610 and retractable edition

    Hello

I have a question about printing and adjust it.

I have an image that I want to print, and it is great.

I have 2 printers an epson and an officejet 8610.

When I print on my Epson printer, the image is shrunk and print everything on one page.

But each big image that I try to print on the 8610, it prints some parts of the image to other pages.

I'm no shrink to adjust option in the settings of the printer and my programs are already developed shrint to print.

So, how to activate or find the shrink to fit on the 8610 printer?

I have instant ink if I want to print on the 8610, but since it prints on several pages, it must continue to use my Epson currently.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Fred

    Hi @Grenpara,

Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support with your print request.

I understand that you use a HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer with a Windows 8.1 computer and you try to print a large image file, but there is no scale to move page or reduced to fit option so the image is printed on several pages. I would like to help with that.

What program you are trying to print from?
  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: How can I activate the message "connect the printer to HP Instant ink status update?

Initially, I signed up for the connected HP program but had to stop when I lost my internet connection. Wi - Fi still works. I replaced my ink cartridges instant with no instant ink with new HP ink cartridges suitable. The printer works, but before each print job I have to walk over to the printer of the touch screen and press the 'OK' button to remove a warning message that States: "connect to a printer to update HP Ink Instant status.» How can I disable this message so that I can print without having to respond each time? In addition to replacing the original instant ink cartridges, I did it 'hard' printer restarts (with the switch market), tried to restore the factory settings via the touch screen system settings, turn off internet connectivity and disable all alert settings in the HP utility. Help!

    Hello @wepj,

Welcome to the Forums of HP and thanks much for posting!

I want to help you with the message that you get on your HP printer officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-one to connect to the server of ink instant.

What it sounds like, is that there have been pages printed since the last printer connected to the HP Ink Server instant. If you cancel your account AFTER the last connection of the printer to the internet, the printer have no idea that the account has been canceled.

I recommend you contact our Cloud Services support at 1-855-785-2777 for assistance.

    I hope this helps!

  • HP officejet pro 8710: difference between HPOffice Jet Pro 8710 and 8715

I just bought a HP 8715 at costco but went to Staples and their model is 8710. seller says the 8715 is a lesser model feature offered only to large stores and discount stores... is this true.  When I install with the disc, for the 8715, he keeps referring to the and said in fact on the Toolbox newsletter I have a 8710...

Can someone clarify this for me... just want to be sure I have a good model... works well, but the difference of $10 I can come back to Staples for the 8710.

    Hello

The HP Officejet Pro 8710 and 8715 are the same product, as part of the 8710 series.

These are only differences commercial for the same printer, which may apply to different retailers or regions.

You can find the specifications below, you same specification applies to both model:

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 + and Inkjet printable BD - R

    Hi all

I have an OfficeJet Pro 8600 + and bought some Inkjet printable BD - R by HP. I can't find a way to print on these discs of the printer that I have. I don't see how the disc can be pulled from the paper tray standard as requiring the flexibility of paper to make turns in the normal way. Is there a secret door, that I can't find?

I really just bought disks for storage and discovered the ability to ink jet after I bought it. If this isn't a big deal, but I would like to take advantage of this and overcome the danger of my crappy writing on discs.  :^)

    Hello

You need an attachemnt that your printer does not have and it is not designed to accept it is printing on CD, DV, BD...

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Instant ink

    With regard to instant ink:

    1. I guess the envelope provided with my first series of instant ink cartridges is the return of these ink cartridges instant after vacuum vs cartridges "setup" that came with the computer, correct?

    2. as I am advised by the printer, one at a time as each cartridge is now empty, I guess I can change out vs. having to wait until all color cartridges are empty; and even then, I can change on all color cartridges, leaving in the old black forward to be advised that he must now change, true?  In other words, as for example, anytime that I could have, say, the first black, the second yellow and blue, but the third cyan in at the same time?

I don't know how that affects the sending of new cartridges.

The envelopes could return the cartridges to install or you can wait for the next round.

As for changing cartridges, you can expect to change a cartridge until it is needed.  Very probably the color cartridges will become exhausted to the same time, unless you have a logo that uses only cyan for example.  Usually the color inks would be in about 10% of its use even through the colors for a random set of printing.

Instant ink billing will begin when the first instant ink cartridge is installed - even if it's just one of the four cartridges.

The printer communicates with servers to instant ink to trigger automatic ink expeditions before that you will need.
