Wifi Y410p connection problems

It can detect and 'connect' to my wifi, but at the time when I try to enter a Web page, it disconnects and does not work. So, basically, the wifi does not work. I checked the drivers and I'm sure they are updated to 99%. Someone please help me with this problem, thank you.

I have the model Y410p and before the same problem and now that I was finally able to fix it. I only did dissable the IPv 6 parameter. It just open network connections, click with the right button on the wifi connection and press properties, and then uncheck the box of th for IPv6. Hope this helps

  • Iconia A1-830 has a Wifi connection problem when 3-5 meters

I bought Asher Iconia A1-830 at BestBuy and after 10 days, I discovered the Wifi connection problem. If you stay near router (1-3 meters) the WiFi signal is good (not excellent). If I go into another room - Wifi connection is poor or disabled. I changed it to another (same model). The second model is perfect only 1.5 months and now she has the same problem with wifi connection. Can someone help me? Maybe the problem in my router, but why it worked 1.5 months?

Yesterday, I received my return of repair Acer Iconia. They wrote the reason of the problem: reconnected hold of WiFi to the motherboard. It now works like new!

  • Two wifi routers EA6200 having connection problems.

I had a single wifi router configuration EA6200 and it was working fine but it has not reached the corner of my house. I decided to buy a second EA6200 in an attempt to expand coverage wifi and nothing else that problems have had since then. I tried several configurations and there are always questions where wifi is either very slow or cut all together. I tried to configure the routers by using the options listed in the manual. We'll call it the router connected directly to the modem ROUTER1 and ROUTER2 upstairs router.

I connect both routers via a power adapter line I used for a while since I rent and can't pass the cables through the walls. I have one of the LAN ports on ROUTER1 connected to port WAN on ROUTER2 and ROUTER2 clipping value. I tried with ROUTER2 get his address IP of ROUTER1 automatically and I also tried to set a static IP address on ROUTER2, but I always had connection problems. I also tried one of the LAN ports on ROUTER1 connecting to one of the LAN on ROUTER2 ports. I put a static IP address on ROUTER2 and disabled DHCP. For both configurations, I tried to have the same SSID and password for both routers so that I can roam and connect automatically to the strongest signal and at first I put the automatic channel selection. I still had problems connecting so I tried to change the SSID of the router and change the SSID for the bands of 2.4 and 5 GHz and I tried to adjust the channels myself no conflicting channels and I still have problems.

Again, the problems I encounter are failure intermittent wifi where it disconnected completely from the wifi but will reconnect then slow connection speeds not long after but also intermittent. Also, I have several chromecast dongles on the TVs in my house and they also periodically lose the connection to the network and have a lot of buffering issues. These problems disappear with a single connected router. I also tried to reset both routers and disconnect and plug my modem at the factory.

All the ideas, because I don't see anything else to try?

    Bilz says:

If I understand you correctly I tried already. I connected the LAN to LAN and used the static IP you listed for the second router. I put the SSID for the 5 GHz band were the same for both routers and used a different SSID for 2.4 GHz bands, but it's still the same on both routers. I used the Wifi Analyzer app to determine the best channels for my router and I put them all channels different worms. I don't know if I used specifically 1, 6 or 11, however. It would make a difference? For example if I used chanells 4 and 6 for 2.4 GHz bands, do you think that this would have caused some of my questions?

Not quite. All SSIDs 4 must be different. You can be the cause of the camera jump back using the same ssid. So it could be xxxxx_24p and xxxxx_24s and even for the 5 GHz. xxxxx_5p and xxxxx_5s

  • Wifi MacBook air problems.

I run to OS X El Capitan 10.11.5. Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I have Wifi connectivity problems.  My wifi turns either on a random or it will appear under the name now, but I wont have all internet pages will be just stuck on loading. This occurs only at home, I think not that the fault lies with the router because as I said I have the same router with respect, before moving to El Capitan and before the upgrade, I had this problem. This has become incredibly annoying because I have to turn the wifi and turns off again and sometimes the wifi is just stuck on being extremely slow to the point where even my phone a much faster connection. I really need a fix for this because it became unbearable.

  • Strange internet connectivity problem

    Hello!

I'm having a connectivity problem I have never met before. I use a wireless router from Apple with internet cable.

Yesterday, my computer would be is no longer in contact with my router wi - fi. I get a message that the network could not be attached (I ran the Diagnostics wireless, but it's a whole lot of sense to me empty files). However, I also have a Roku, and which IS connected to the WiFi without problem. I completely stopped and restarted the computer, no joy. Reset the modem and the router, no joy. Still works with Roku, not with the computer. But the weird part is, I have Optimum Online, which allows subscribers to log-in to its hotspots, and it worked! I am connected Optimum wi - fi network on my computer right now.

So I don't know where is the problem! It is not the router, because this is related work with Roku and is not the computer, because it is connected and working with the Optimum hotspot. What gives?

    Try this!

Go to the Apple menu > System Preferences > network

Select a Wi - Fi connection in the sidebar and then click on the button "Advanced...". "in the lower right corner of the screen

In the list of preferred networks, delete the name of your Wi - Fi network

Click on the "OK" button to save that change and then 'apply' in the network preferences window.

Now, go to the Applications folder > utilities > Keychain Access

Make sure that "Login" keychain is selected and "All items" in the category is selected in the sidebar

Use the search field to find items that Keychain with the name of your Wi - Fi network and remove

    Quit Keychain Access

Now try and access your Wi - Fi network

    Hello @adityarai82,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I read your post about the WiFi problem and wanted to help you!  I understand that you have tried the troubleshooting steps a lot already, without success.

Try to review these steps, offered by community member @Great-Christine-Tree:

First of all, we have a step by step guide to guide you through the process of diagnosis here:
Troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access

A second option is to try the following steps:
    Powercycle the network:
    1. turn off your laptop.
    2. unplug the power to your router.
    3. disconnect the power to your modem.
    4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
    7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:
    1. open Device Manager. (Win Key + R > type devmgmt.msc > OK)
    2. expand the network adapters.
    3. right click on the Ethernet adapter / wireless, and then click Properties.
    4. click on the power management tab.
5 remove the check mark next to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
    6. click on OK.
    7 test cycle.

Reset the TCP/IP settings on your PC:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt" without the quotes and press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

It can also help to reset the winsock catalog:
    1. go to your start screen/menu and type CMD.
    2. right-click on the command prompt icon and select run as administrator.
    3. in the window that opens type "netsh winsock reset" without the quotes, and then press ENTER.
4 restart your PC and test.

    Reinstall the NIC drivers:
    1. download the drivers from here , but do not run them again.
    2. go to your Start menu/screen and type Device Manager.
    3. expand network adapters.
    4. right click on the wireless adapter and choose uninstall.
5 install the drivers downloaded in step 1.
    6. restart your PC and test.

    Test an ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

    Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.

If these steps do not resolve the problem, try this document published by Microsoft for network management issues: wired and wireless network problems. You can change the operating system with the drop-down list in the upper right of the document.

  • Satellite U400 - S00 Wireless connection problem

I have a Satellite U400, which was lowered to XP Business.
Wireless networking seems to work only intermittently.
I can see several netoworks available and that you have selected the office, wireless access Point to connect automatically. It is the only network that I listed for to connect you.

The laptop often fails to connect the access point, often trying to connect to another nearby wireless device unsecured.
If I manually select the office network and click 'Connect', it asks for the key wireless (I have enter) and then it connects briefly, gets an IP via DHCP and disconnects quickly about 10 seconds later.

If I repeat the reconnection attempts, sometimes I am able to keep the connection for several hours, but if I stop and restart I have to repeat the same procedure. I downloaded what I think is the most up-to-date intel wireless drivers, but I would appreciate a pointer to the most recent.

I'm not using the ConfigFree, just the menu of Windows Wireless configuration base (Zeroconf service)

This is driving me crazy. Help, please.

    Hello

I found this thread and I would like to my experience with the U400.
Yes, I have a U400 and I installed Win XP Pro.
I have an Intel WLan card and I already updated the driver WLan to the State.

    I found new drivers here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

I must say that my WiFi works without problem! I have the latest version of the BIOS and I never noticed any problems.

I must also say that I have don t use tools of any additional WLan configuration but ONLY options specific to Windows and its ok.
I have disabled the Intel ProSet utility Msconfig and it does not load at the beginning.

I have configured my OS and laptop computer ONLY connects to my wireless private network.
Of course if my private Wlan is not available it automatically connects to a WLan unsafe in my range.

  • Access only "Local". Wireless connection problem.

I have a Compaq Presario CQ60-211DX running MS Vista. Yes I know. in any case, I am able to connect to any available WIFI, except my personal home WIFI. If it is directly connected to the ethernet cable, I'll have internet, but once I disconnect it-i lose. My wireless says "Local" only signal I've tried everything. To restart all electronic devices which means my internet to read on the fourms a lot, a lot. I used the Norton removal tool, I did the regedit, MS Vista update, checked for drivers updated and nothing else I can read up. SO PLEASE! Help!.

    Hi RedskinsBnG,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         He has already worked?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in safe mode with networking, perform a clean boot to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow the link step 7 to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: Follow the steps in the article.
