Will be a Macbook to ground you?

From time to time, when I touch my Macbook, I get a shock from static electricity. If the shock is strong enough, if possible, can you actually hurt your Macbook?

Also, I will install new hardware on my PC, but I have no way to ground me when handling sensitive equipment. People recommend to leave power on the PC turned off, but connected to the wall, installed in the case. I can then touch the case or to remove the power supply and the static electricity and land me.

Is this also the case with a Macbook with the unibody aluminum shell? Touch the body, if it is connected to a power source, you land as would an anti-static bracelet?
