Will the memory and the new installation of windows 7 to get rid of any exploit hacker

I bought a new package ultimate single user official windows 7 on CD and I replaced it my memory stick with 4 brand new that I was also getting faulty memory diagnostic.

How can I be sure that it has removed the activation of pirates feat.
Also the person who has downloaded the 'bad' windows 7 would be initially he have known that it was a forgery and also be responsible for the pirate feat.
If this last question is too serious to answer on this forum, then appreciate where I order it.

I would check whether if you bought fully compatible memory, for example

http://www.Corsair.com/us/learn_n_explore/

A clean install of victory would destroy everything on the pc, when you start on the MS cd, early in the process of removing all the scores found, before continuing.

If you have bad memory win7 cannot install properly

You understand that you will not be able to upgrade Windows XP to Windows 7?  He will have to do a clean install.

The Council supports Windows 7, you can get the drivers here (the chipset drivers should be the first drivers you install after installing the operating system.)

  • After the new installation of windows installation

    Hello

My computer has receantly had virus problems and I want to do a new installation of windows.  After I do this can I reinstall my copy of creative suite and use the code provided to or he'll tell me its already in use since technically, I did use it once already?  If Yes is it possible around it?  I really don't want to drop $800 again just to reload windows on my computer.

    Thanks for any help!

Disable your existing installation of Creative Suite for free activation.

Open any application e.g. Photoshop then help > Deactivate. That will disable the entire suite.

    Reinstall Windows.

Reinstall the Creative Suite and it reactivates during installation.

  • new hard drive - what is the difference in performance between the new installation of Windows 7 or a clone of old hard drive?

I get a new hard Hard Drive (SSD).  The new disc is the same size as my existing SATA drive.  I can do either a new

the installation of Windows 7 or a clone old hard drive?  I would prefer to clone the old hard drive and keep all my settings, etc.   It's empirical data on the performance difference between a new installation of Windows 7 or to continue with the Windows 7 which was 3 or 4 years ago.

I know the conventional wisdom is that the new installation is faster, but, no matter who actually tested and compared the differences?  I know I'll get better performance of the SSD the SATA drive, but I don't know if it's worth the hassle to do a fresh install and redo all my programs and settings.

Others that the performance of the SSD you should not see any differences.  If you do, you can always do a clean installation later.

  • Logical disk partition not recognized in the New Installation of Windows

Hello.  I would appreciate someone to give me any advice.  I don't know if the problem I encounter is an oversight on my part, but it was not something that I anticipated.

To give a bit of background, until last week, I was running a Windows 7 system on my computer which included three hard drives (4 TB, 2 TB, and a smaller disk).  The 4 TB drive included my boot drive with Windows on a partition of 2 TB and then the unallocated space has been transformed into a new partition in disk management, received the drive letter G and was used for long term backup of data.

Since then, I built a new computer and installed a new version of Windows 7 on a small SSD.  During this process, I have not all disks connected to the machine (except the DVD player) so that there is no possibility of installation of Windows, do something for these readers I didn't (I got burned by this time long ago when you reinstall Windows 95, which makes me just feel old).  After the whole installation process was performed and the new version of Windows has been working well, I opened the machine and plugged the drive 4 TB and 2 TB, assuming that Windows did not recognize them when I started.

When I started in Windows, Windows does indeed recognize the two drives and assign drive letters.  But in the case of the car of 4 TB, he acknowledges that the partition containing my old boot drive.  No drive letter is assigned to the secondary partition.  When I go to disk management, it shows all of the remaining spaces as unallocated space, but seems not yet quite recognize space completely in the way he would if I'd created directly.  For example, if I right click in that box, I don't get the normal options to create a new Simple Volume.  Everything on this menu is grayed out except properties and help.

So I guess I have two questions.  (Leaving aside the possibility of a hardware problem), was I wrong to assume that a hard drive divided into two partitions could be transferred from a Windows machine to another?  I honestly thought that no matter where no matter what Windows 7 machine would recognize the two drives, but maybe I'm missing something fundamental.

Two and more important still, there advice for access to the data on this drive?

    Hello

A problem that could happen is that the disk partition has security setting so that the profile of the user that created it would be able to access it, and seeing that you are trying to access from a new profile may not not allow you to access

To access these files, you can try to boot from the old hard drive manually to change the setting of the partition or simply manually move the files and delete the partition.

To start from the old disk hard restart have the hard drive is plugged in, restart the computer and while it is booting F12 key to select the boot device, after that, select the old hard disk and access them normally.

    hope this has helped.

  • Minor problem with the New Installation of Windows 7 on my Inspiron E1705/9400 - two entries for "Base system device" under "Other devices" with yellow exclamation point

    Hello

First of all, let me tell you about my system.   It is of a laptop Inspiron E1705/9400 with the Core 2 Duo T7400 processor clocked at 2.16 GHZ.   It has 2 GB of RAM and a hard drive on the Hitachi Travelstar nine 500 GB (7200 RPM).   It also has the GeForce Go 7900 GS video card.    Previously, it had Windows XP Professional (32 bit) and worked well.   But, I have three computers in my home and Home Office and would they work better together on my wired home network, so I'm upgrading all three to Windows 7.   My two desktops (a Dimension XPS 420 and the other Dimension XPS 430) seem like they will be no problem to upgrade to Windows 7.   But, this laptop was not on the list of Dell Windows 7 compatibility.   However, the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor that I have downloaded and run seemed to say that it was OK to do a clean install of Windows 7 32-bit and he had only a few minor issues, where it says search the drivers updated from the manufacturer.   Initially, the laptop came with a 100 GB hard drive.   For my use, which becomes very small, so I decided to get the exact same 7200 RPM drive 500 GB size.   This will allow me to do a clean install of the 32 bit Windows 7 OS on the new hard drive and not have to wipe the old disk to do so.   I can just keep the old HD and paste it back whenever I need to get something out of it.

So, here's my minor problem.   After the transfer of some elements off the coast of the old hard drive, I installed the new 500 GB drive and installed a cleaning of the 32-bit version of Windows 7.    I'm happy to announce that I have not had virtually no problems with installation and everything seems to work fine.   He seems a little more zippy than before and I have not met so far that doesn't seem to work.   I went through most of features and almost everything is superb.   But there is a minor problem, showing in Device Manager.   At least, I think it's a minor problem, but maybe someone can give me feedback to know if she is or not.

In the Device Manager list, there is a category called "other devices" now and the icon shows a little white circle with an exclamation mark.    When you expand this category, you see two identical entries that say "Base system device" and the icon has a yellow circle with an exclamation mark inside.     I know from experience that it is not a good thing to see items in the device manager that have a yellow circle with an exclamation point.   I clicked on both of them and neither one really tells you what the device is, or who did what is site you would go to a driver.    On the general tab, it has the following information:

    -Device type Other devices

    Reference of the manufacturer- Unknown

                         Location     -         Bus PCI 3, device 1, function 3

Under device status, it says the following:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information

To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

Each of the entries seem to be almost the same thing... but not exactly.   The other has the location

list PCI Bus 3, device 1, function 2... instead of function 1.   This seems to be the only difference.

I tried the button to update the driver, but that doesn't seem to work.   No matter if you say it looks like your

computer or to look for a new driver from the internet, it does not find anything.     As I said at the beginning,

the system seems to work very well... but, given that I don't know what this device is or does, I might be missing something.

He drives me crazy just have these yellow circles with exclamation point hanging out in my device manager.

I could really use some help here.    Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Bryan Ray (Richmond, WILL)

BTW, I just downloaded and installed the driver pack from this ftp location and it worked, even for Windows 8.1 - 64 bit.

    Thanks Steve!

  • Problem with Windows Update after the new installation of Windows 7 Pro the Lenovo ThinkPad X 200

I'm trying to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Pro on a Lenovo ThinkPad X 200. The product key is easy to find on the sticker of the ThinkPad. However, the version of Windows is hidden (for example, I can't check that my ThinkPad had originally installed Windows 7 Pro). I was able to install by using a Pro Win 7 SP1 CD ROM I bought for another installation. I used the ThinkPad I was trying to make the new facility on the product key. I was able to activate the Windows 7 Pro using the phone call and my cell phone. I checked the activation! However, I have problems with Windows update. The product key may be a different version of Windows 7. If so, why did it install and activate OK? Y at - it a fix for this problem or I have to buy a new version of Windows 7 Pro? Please note that I have not yet installed all drivers Lenovo ThinkPad as I can't seem to install correctly. Thank you!

Since the issue is updated to Windows, it is not a product number key.

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

  • My windows update will not install the new version of windows update, I get the error code 80070020 on a 64-bit vista SP2

My windows update to install a new version of windows update says it acts like it will download and install it then gives me the error code 80070020 and says that my computer is unable to download or install new updates or new version of the windows update. I have a 64-bit windows vista SP2 and my avira antivirus program that has a real-time protection. I tried to do a clean boot upward and tried every possible tip I found on the Microsoft and through suggested methods help panel, I found. My computer has Avira Antivirus that has real time protection I deleted and tried without that somewhere because he said it could be antivirus programs that include real-time protection. Does anyone have advice good?

    Hello

    1. What are the troubleshooting steps correct you did to fix the problem?

2 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

I would say allowing you to run the FIXIT from the link provided and check if it helps.

You receive error 0 x 80070020 when you use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site to install the updates

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/883825

You can also try the manual steps and check.

If you follow the manual steps to start the computer in a clean boot state, remember to start the computer in normal mode after you have completed troubleshooting.

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

Note: It is possible that some data could be removed if infections are detected.

  • Restore saved the Windows Mail Messages in the New Installation of Windows Mail

I found the following on this forum thread. Further to this review in the second paragraph, I was able to move a message to the empty folder. But I was unable to move the other messages in the folder. The files I tried to move appeared as attachments in a new message. The .eml files and not marked read-only. What should I try next?

    TIA,

    Michael R

Windows Mail does not dbx files.  Copy the store directory of all message on the desktop of the new machine.  Then right-click on the file and go to properties and make sure that they are not read-only.  Then go to file | Import | Messages in WinMail and choose the format from Windows Mail 7 and point to this directory.   See also here for general information: www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm

If you can not always get messages in folders, you can create a new folder in WinMail and open it so that it displays a list of empty message.  Then, open up one of the subdirectories containing eml files in Explorer and drag an eml file on top of the list of message empty folder and drop and you will see it is embedded in the file.  Once you get a job, you can drag and drop all eml files at a time, as long as they are only the eml files.

I was able to transfer the former folders of the backup but when I go to import it recognizes not all files. I did a complete search on my C drive and nothing. How can I get these old records imported without this file?

They are attachments because you drag another file in addition to the eml files.  When you select the eml files to ensure that they areonly the eml files and then it will work.

  • Cannot adjust the brightness of the screen after the new installation of Windows 7

I have a Pavilion dv2945se notebook. I have completely updated the Nvidia geforce 7150 m drivers. My laptop came with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, and I did a new install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I can't adjust the brightness of the display. I narrowed down the problem to the generic PnP Monitor driver. How can I solve this problem?

Edit: I mean "impossible to adjust the brightness of the display" that every time I go into power options and trying to use the cursor, Windows Explorer crashes. Also, my fn + F7 and F8 keys light work before I connect to windows, but not after. I think that something will charge when I connect to windows that is causing the problem. So I went in Mode safe, but then all that allows to control the brightness has not loaded when I went into safe mode, which was not helpful. I also went into MSConfig and disabled all startup programs, but again, I have the same problem. The brightness of the keys work before connect you to Windows, but not thereafter.

When I turn off the device generic PnP monitor (1) can't adjust the brightness at all and (2) the Power Options window stops freezing. That's how I've narrowed the problem to the generic PnP Monitor driver.

I finally solved this by uninstalling the driver for the ALPS touchpad. Because there are no Windows 7 drivers for my laptop even though it is listed in the models capable of upgrading to Windows 7, I used Windows Vista touchpad drivers. It was the cause of my problem with brightness adjustment. I don't know why it worked, but I've narrowed it down by disabling all processes start and then from their one at a time to see what caused the problem. As soon as I started Apoint.exe, I started to have problems.

Now, I just have to find a way to disable the touchpad tapping without the ALPS drivers.

  • Acer 1810TZ webcam works only after the new installation of Windows 7

My hard drive died so I don't have access to the recovery partition. I did a fresh install of Windows 7 on a new drive.  Everything works except the webcam.  Windows has recognized and installed the drivers (and works) but nothing can connect to it.  It was working before the accident (also W7).

The Acer website says it is made by Chicony (is ID 0 c 45 6310 suggests Sonix) so I downloaded and installed the drivers installed and appropriate Acer Crystal Eye, but it crashes at startup without error message.  Skype and other applications cannot connect to the camera webcam.  I also tried all the other drivers on the Acer website, just in case.

Comparability Windows Center suggests that the pilot was developed by Suyin that might be the problem.  I found some Sonix drivers that will install on the Microsoft ones but make no difference.  I tried to install and Crystal Eye running in compatibility mode.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?  I am now at a total loss.

    Help much appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Shalini

Thanks for getting back to me.

    I am running 64 bit.

Yes, the webcam is detected under as WebCam imaging devices.

Drivers been uninstalled (reboot) and re-installed (reboot)

Webcam programs have been removed (CrystalEye & Skype)

I downloaded for a Chicony (WebCam_Chicony (AP) _1.1.95.71_Win7x86x64) drivers as Acer judged my Chicony camera Suyin not

I heard support from Acer, who say that the problem is caused by a difference between OEM and sales at retail of Windows 7 and I need to re - install Windows from the recovery DVD.  I prefer not to do that.

    Thank you

    Nick
