Win. Creation of DVD. The Video_ts files and bup files.

Make a movie on Windows DVD maker. But when I put the disc in my DVD/CD drive on comp. it does not show the name of the movie in my dvd drive E: it reads Video_TS.

Although I don't think I can change the name of THIS movie, is there a door way the title I want to show when it is inserted into my dvd player to my next film I do?

2nd, it backs up the files on this disc, are or is there other files, I should copy on my comp. and save in case I ever need to make another copy of this film. I saved the file (.msdvd), then I make another copy with exactly that. (I don't want a copy of the film saved on my computer. Too much space lost)

FWIW... VIDEO_TS is a standard folder which is present on all
DVD-video.

No.... you can not re - edit a completed video DVD.

In addition the project MSDVD file, you all the original
the source files in their original... locations that are not included in
the MSDVD file. Think of it as a recipe for a movie.

If you want copies of an existing DVD Maker DVD...
be an easy task to create an ISO Image of the DVD, then
burn as many copies as you need. ImgBurn free software can
do this.

That did not help.  But for the record, I finally found the correct cursor plan I was looking here: http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-set/mouse download a .zip file that I had bad access to when you change the pointer of the mouse, but resolved by downloading each schema of cursor .ani and .cur individually on the site. Hello

Click right tab taskbar - task - process - make sure WMPlayer.exe Manager, nor any other

    -----------------------

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD have a tolerance + - and your must read on the edge outside these tolerances of discs.

    ===========================================

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

    Hello

Since last week, I've known several BSOD. Some have referred to a memory problem, but after you run a memory diagnostic seveal times, I still have to find the problem.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

Please run these tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

Since then, it is more likely to be a pilot run everything first.

    Stop 0 x 124 is a hardware error
If you are overclocking try to reset your settings to standard processor and see if that helps.
If you keep getting the BSOD here are things more than you may want.

This is usually hardware related, defective heat, memory or processor even if it is "possible" he is associated (rare) driver.

Stop 0 x 124 - what it means and what to try

    Synopsis:

A "stop 0 x 124" is fundamentally different from many other types of bluescreens because it arises from a complaint of material.
Stop 0 x 124 minidumps contain very little concrete information, and it is therefore necessary to address the problem as a case of material in an unknown state of distress.

    Generic troubleshooting ' Stop 0 x 124 ":

    1) to ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Material which is pushed beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - may malfunction in unpredictable ways.

    (2) ensure that the machine is sufficiently cooled.
If there is doubt, open the side of the case (be aware of all the relevant conditions guaranteed!) PC and direct an electric fan squarely to the motherboard. Who will rule on most cooling problems (lack of).

    3) update all drivers related to materials: video, sound, RAID (if applicable), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware.
It is best to run the latest drivers anyway.

    (4) update the BIOS of your motherboard according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Their website should provide detailed instructions on the brand and model-specific procedure.

    (5) rarely, bugs in the operating system may cause "false positives" 0 x 124 events where the hardware wasn't complaining, but Windows thought otherwise (because of the bug).
At the time of writing, Windows 7 does not have to suffer from a defect, but it is nevertheless important to keep Windows up-to-date.

    6) trying (stress) test these hardware components that can be put to the test artificially.
The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD (s).
For the RAM, use diagnostics from built-in memory (run MDSCHED) or the utility memtest86 3rd - party to run plenty of evidence of hours of testing.
For hard drives, verify if CHKDSK /R finds any problems on (s), including "bad sectors".
Unreliable RAM, in particular, is mortal, as well as software, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result the diagnostic utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free of any defect - only that none have been encountered during the test passes.

    7) as the last of the non-invasive troubleshooting steps, perform a "Vanilla" Windows reinstallation: just the OS itself without additional applications, games, utilities, updates, new drivers - or ANYTHING that does not come from the Windows 7 disc.
Who stops working mitigate the problem of the 0 x 124, jump to the next step.

If you run the "Vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0 x 124 accident occurred, start installing applications and updates slowly, always stopping between successive additions long enough to get an idea of the question if the machine is still free of 0 x 124 breaks down.
Smash back, obviously the latest addition of software may be somehow connected to the root cause.
If the stop error 0 x 124 persist despite the above steps, and the equipment is under warranty, consider to go back and ask for a replacement that does not suffer periodic MCE events.
Be aware that want to perform the subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps can, in some cases, void your warranty:

    (8) clean and carefully remove the dust inside the machine.
Reinstall all memory modules and connectors.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the RAM DIMM supports as much as possible.

    (9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one by one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential that can be eliminated.
Obviously, this type of testing is much easier if you have access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

If you are in the situation to have completed all the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is that the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the hardware of the machine.

  • you just bought a dvd, the hunger games, and it won't play.

My laptop is a HP pavalion dv6 - 3227cl.  I just bought a Blue Ray disc of 'The Hunger Games'.  He will not play.  Smart Media software wants to look for an upgrade.  When update is downloaded and starts, I get a message that the software is already installed and I want to uninstall the program?  Should I do this or is it something else that I'm missing?

    Hello

If you use HP MediaSmart DVD to read Blu - ray disc, try the following.

HP now provides a version of PowerDVD 10 Cyberlinks which seems to be a better solution.  Download the latest installer for it on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56904.exe

Once the download is complete, open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP MediaSmart DVD and select uninstall - when this process is complete, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your downloads folder and double-click Setup for PowerDVD 10 start the installation.  Once this done, see if your Blu - ray disc now plays OK.

    Hello world. Another new guy!

I also discovered DVD Maker. But I had all the problems in sucsession. First creation of DVD does not recognize the files, but with the help, as I arrived here, I overcame. Then, he did not find the DVD burner, but you guys saved me once again on this one. Now, once I have start burning .avi on DVD, after 1% weird files, it gives me a biggie, saying that one or more of the files that have been added can not be decoded properly. I know there are other people who had simmular problems, but I'm still at a loss. I have download a codec (just the codecs) package to solve the original problem, I myself for example not recougnizing files in the first place. I thought that would be enough.

Please someone save me! :-) . I'm SO close from there...

  • How can I activate images on the DVD in video file so that I can edit and send to people?

Hello.  I recently transferred footage tape VCR to a gathering on a DVD of family.  How can I activate images on the DVD in video file so that I can edit and send to people?

Any help would be appreciated, as I was chasing my tail for about an hour and a half now.

    Thank you!

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is in, and then select or open Explorer.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
    full VIDEO_TS folder.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video film for editing purposes.
(if you have Vista Home Premium or Ultimate, you)
may be able to import the VOB files in Movie Maker
    as they are)

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
    file to edit)

If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
another .wmv format would be a good choice.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • The MTS files & Windows DVD creation (Windows 7 x 64)

Question: Windows DVD Maker does not recognize the MTS format.
    Camera: Panasonic DMC - TZ7
File format: MTS (AVCHD Lite HD)
    OS: Windows 7 x 64

There are a few comments on the similar topic. I would like to know if there is some way I can get the creation of DVD to read MTS files without converting it to other formats.

If I convert it, is it a tool of MS that I can use without buying a third-party tool 3. MTS format has been around for a while and I'm surprised that the creation of DVD in Windows 7 does not support.
    Vimal.

    Hello

You must first convert AVCHD (.mts) .avi files or any other file format and then burn using Windows DVD creation. Create DVD does not recognize the format .mts and
There are no Microsoft tool to convert the file formats.

I suggest you to search using your favorite search engine. You will find many free online conversion tools.

The files have already been burned on a DVD and therefore cannot be converted. However, you can download and install third-party codecs to play .m2ts files.
