Win7 for Olympus p-400 printer driver

I have a P - 400 Olympus with USB, but not print driver for Win7. Someone at - it found a generic driver for this printer. I have some family photos that I had to print. If I can't find a working driver, the printer is a boat anchor: (help).

See http://www.fixya.com/support/t5311961-need_driver_olympus_p_400 .

But it probably only works for Windows 7 32 bit.

I download the XP drivers on the Olympus site then do a right click on the file and select troubleshoot compatibility. Follow the prompts.

You could also connect the printer and let Windows 7 try & find some basic drivers.

There is no guarantee that it will work even if - in the end, you have to accept that your printer is obsolete in Windows 7.    :(

  • Windows 7 64 bit laptop on wireless network can not find .inf wired for Canon Pixma iP4000 printer driver for windows 7 32 bit PC

First of all, I read the thread on the laptop win 7 and win XP PC with attached IP4000.  I have just isn't helping me with that.  I am computer literate network, but I have to be dumbing down, so be specific in a response, you can give it.  Please, do not assume I know something just because it can be public knowledge.  Thank you for understanding my situation!

New Win 7 64 bit laptop connected wireless to a network home through a Netgear WNDR3700 router.  Wired to the router, it is a PC with a USB attached printer Canon IP4000.  This printer has worked without problem with this PC for years.  Add the laptop.  Try to access the printer on the network (it is set to be shared on the PC) translates into an inability to find the driver for the printer.  On the Canon download site, I downloaded and installed on both machines the driver add-on 'aomwin110ea23us.exe '.  This does nothing to solve the problem.  Then, follow the suggestions in the thread referenced above, I downloaded installed 7 - zip and unzipped the file add-on from Canon.  Guess what? -There is no, zero, nada, stupid ".inf" file in there!  I understand that I need share on the PC to both x 32 and x 64, but without a valid .inf file to point to, I'm sunk.  And the same is true when you try to add the printer to the laptop - not to point to .inf file.  Is the only thing that I have not tried to install the printer directly to the laptop via the USB port, and it's because this is not a configuration that is usable for me.  The printer must be attached to the PC.  Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this dilemma?  Please do not give me an answer telling me to download the driver - usually you tell me precisely what driver and then guide me through the process.  Rest assured that I appreciate sincerely any help you can give me.  Thanks in advance!

Most likely the name of the driver you are using on XP to share the printer a is not not the name of the 64-bit driver.  The pilots names must match in order to add the printer as a connection to the 64-bit computer using the normal RPC protocol.  You can configure the printer on 64-bit Windows 7 as a local printer that will basically copy the data from the printer to the format to share on the XP machine using SMB protocols.

This is a Ko for incompatible drivers when connecting XP to NT4.  Replace your server / client configuration, but it's the same process.  Make sure that you are connected to the internet and select the Canon 64 bit driver available on Windows Update (use the Windows Update button in add printer) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282842

  • LaserJet 1300: is it laserjet 1300 printer driver for Windows 10?

I just bought a new laptop for home use - Windows 10 rounds.  I've been using a printer LaserJet 1300 (connected to a docking station, which is connected to the laptop) during the years that I LIKE, but can't seem to find a driver for printer LaserJet 1300 for WIndows 10.  It does not exist, and if yes, what is the link to it?

The drivers are all the same, no matter what port is used.  The port just determines the method to which the work reached the printer.  Parallel, USB or network.  Parallel ports of will disappear and most computers only support usb and network as well as some who support wireless where the printer has wireless capabilities.  Here is the link to the drivers on the hp site.

  • HP Deskjet e3520: manually uninstall Print Driver

    Hi all!

I got myself in quite the situation when I tried to clean up some temporary files and save space on my rather small SSD.  As such, I accidentally deleted the uninstall program for my HP print driver and now I can not uninstall the software, nor I can install newer software.  The software is looking for a file, DJ352x64.msi, located at AppData\Local\Temp\7zS0DDA, but there is obviously no because, well, I deleted it.

So, any advice on how to manually uninstall my driver's license so I can get my drivers updated?

    Thank you!

If the problem persists, you can try the solution proposed in the thread below.

    (1) open the command prompt window by clicking on the Start > applications > Windows system > guest.

    Type: net stop spooler

    Enter: net start spooler
    Type: exit

    2) open Windows Explorer and navigate to:
    %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32x86

NOTE: any % is usually C:\Windows, but it might be "winnt" or something else; It is set when the OS is installed.  Most systems are like this C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86

    (3) in the w32x86 folder, there will be other folders and files.  Delete everything inside, but DO NOT remove the w32x86 folder.

    4) restart the computer - perform clean boot in Windows 10 / 8 / 7

  • Win7-64 not install Samsung ML-2150series 64-bit printer driver on this printer on ethernet. keeps trying to install it on USB

    1. new installation Win7 64-bit.
    2. printer Samsung ML-2151N ; 64 bit correct ML-2150 downloaded from Samsung.com
3 printer connected to the Win7 CPU via USB: pilot facilities and the printer works fine
4 NETWORK card printer on the LAN ethernet (who still works on WinXP32bit) is located on the Win7 computer browser and will print a test page or control the printer as would be normal.
    5. However, Win 7 does not show the network printer in the printers/units window
    6. Add Printer does not work. Returns to the driver that works only via USB (in grayed out when the USB cable is disconnected, which is how I'm trying to establish things).
    7. add port adds the name of the printer TCP/IP port in hexadecimal format, as shown in print to the printer test page.
    8. Add Printer still does not work.
9 Samsung support me because the printer is out of warranty (well, it works very well for the past 6 years, it's their stupid driver, or what?).  They consider installing an old printer on a new operating system using their driver just appear to be a warranty issue that they won't support... Huh?
    10. the network is "reliable." Subnet is the same. No difference if Win7 works like homegroup or workgroup. Norton Internet Security is installed and gives no error message; See #4, above.

Question: How to install and run this beast as a network printer, so I can move it out of my office?

    Hello DoctorMatthew,

Thank you for your message.  We will try this method:
Click "Start" > click "devices and printers".
    Click on "add a printer".
    Click "add a local printer.
Click on "Create a new Port" > scroll down to "Standard TCP/IP Port" > click "next".
Type the IP address of the printer and click "Next".
The printer must be found and use the USB driver that you have already installed, if the driver is not used you will need to add the driver.

Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

  • Windows 8 for Dell laser printer 3110cn printer driver

We asked Dell for a windows driver 8 for their laser 3110cn printer and they told us to ask Microsoft

    [Moved from comments]

I don't know why Dell would ask Microsoft (other than the usual "this isn't our fault") since Microsoft isn't writing drivers for other manufacturers. they use the pilots that manufacturers provide. And if Dell is not a writing/condition, Microsoft will not have it.

You could try to download the driver Win7 XX bits by http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/dell-3110cn> and install in compatibility mode. Other than that, the only suggestion I have is to try other color Dell laser drivers listed in Win8, such as the 3100cn or the 3115cn.
