  Hi people, I'm some workflows (GSM and NDP) increment in my case, unfortunately after that I created these workflow I am confronted with many questions. The most common problem happens when I go to a new stage, I get the message: "another parent window already exists for this section.

  I just had a "discussion" with a colleague experienced TI who insists on the fact that he is an operating system (and not the usual mix upward with Office) called Windows 2010. She even obtained confirmation of his manager.  I'm sure that this does not really exist, or perhaps was the name initially given to Windows 7.  The only detail discuss Windows 2010 X, I can find is a site Web called Uncyclopedia (http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Windows_2010) that I know is a site that gives information completely and totally false.  Can someone please confirm that Windows 2010 does not exist please, or if it is the version for PDA etc.?

  Reset recovery will wipe everything back to the factory setting. Everything that you installed or created data will be gone. You must get an ext HDD and to move your data to it and find where you placed your custom software to reinstall the software to use the data that you have moved to the ext HDD. Reinstall Windows on Windows will not fix your problem, but complicate the problem only.

  Thans for the answer, I understand what you say, it's just that, until I discarded the computer a few days before (by foolishly following a tip to youtube to speed up computer that has totally stopped it start) windows update worked very well and it has been since a windows 10 installation and a removal of windows 10 the next day a few months ago. The folder c:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution/windows/download exist with only 2 files with names very long gibberish and it is only 15 kb and the other file is 39 k, which seems to be far big enough for any update. I was wondering if instead of the clean install from the recovery partition would be any different doing a clean install from the recovery disks that I did when I got the laptop? see you soon

  Made no difference with update disk and these 2 small updates are only updated Adobe and after 3 off straight, the bar is still meandering along, my update history shows only updates from 2012 when win7 was installed everything first... * beep * Microsoft!

  Yesterday, I decided I had enough and started to install windows from a download 10 earlier, but after it began, I thought "no you know you hated" so I canceled the installation. That's about 3 hours later when I went to stop the laptop it says close and install the updates, so, after 4 hours of installing updates 251 and restarted then installed another 41 updates, then again on the next closure, so basically, I think that the few installation the windows 10 made seemed to start updates to speed?

• Service Windows Installer seems to be missing

  I am running Vista SP2.  There are a few reliable programs, I tried to install, and I get this error message: "the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.  This can occur if Windows Installer is not installed properly. "When I go to , , there are NO Windows install existing Service whatsoever.  I tried "scannow" from the command prompt, but he said everything was cool, I have all the updates for Vista, I tried no record then the reinstatement of the command prompt.  I'll try the automated tool "click-click-fix' of Microsoft, but I could not install either because of the error.  Tried to install Windows Installer 4.5, but apparently those who are for users of SP1.    Any help would be appreciated.
