Windows 7 - audio system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Soundcard Question. Issue of the audio recording. Poor sound quality from the speakers.
I connect on - the work of sound system very well. Media player works fine. The next time I log on - no sound system. Everything is plugged, convenience store finds no problems, Media player goes through all the steps and looks that don't worry, still no sound. I have download a fix for the VIA recommended by Dell Driver. I did, and it still has the same problem. I can close, reconnect, and then the sound will work. Sometimes I have to close and log on twice in a row so he can launch.
Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this problem? I am working on a Dell Inspiron 546 AMD Athlon II x 2 215 2.70 GHz and 64-bit with 400 GB of RAM. I installed Windows 7 but when I dug deeper into the service code for this machine which found at some point in time he had installed Vista. Finally, I want to record my vinyl on discs and need a great sound system. Any advice?
I removed all the ATI Audio as suggested. The result in the short term is that the audio quality is improved. I no longer hear the "crackling" when the sound is turned on. I had installed up-to-date antivirus software and my problem seems to start after an update from Microsoft. Do a search on the web and you will see similar stories. I spent so much time trying to solve this I think it's better just to do a re-install. Certainly not the resolution I had hoped, but appreciate this type of questions are almost impossible to solve the problems through intermittent mail such messages.

I suggest that you configure the computer to start in minimum mode, download the update from the Download Center and try to install the update.
To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista:
a. Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
b. on the general tab, click Selective startup.
c. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
d. click OK.
e. When prompted, click on restart.
f. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

Message came that said my copy of Vista can be victim of piracy and go online to validate that, I did it because I have been using this OS for more than 3 years on a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit p2000 series. a few hours later my computer said it needed to restart and once it restarted it has a black screen with a message that he was trying to repair. Note: Tit the following settings is reset by default:
Its computer system
Device drivers
Visual effects
Windows Mail
Windows services
If you notice missing files after the upgrade, look in the following folders:
C:\Windows.old
C:\$INPLACE.~TR
C:\$WINDOWS.~Q
These files can be eliminated with disk cleanup as "records destroyed by upgrade to Windows".

On my windows vista computer, whenever I turn on my computer and log on, none of my programs work. An error message appears saying that the program has stopped working and windows will try to find a solution to the problem. The problem is that the help and support center opens either. None of my internet programs to be open, and the same error message for all. We have tried to turn off DEP, and that did not help. Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:
Method 1:
Step 1: Start in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

Step 2: If the problem does not occur in safe mode, you can put your system to boot (in normal mode) to solve the problem.
