  Your copy of Windows 7 is probably using KMS licenses, which requires he reactivates the licence every 180 days (6 months) by connecting to the KMS host computer.   has caught ISO sp3 rather old stand-alone setup I had; and for some reason any has no exe work again even in safe mode but the iso.
  My advice to anyone with a similar problem is grab ISO sp3 and use instead.m
