  You cannot install Defender in Vista; It is already part of the Vista operating system.

  It is not a Windows problem, it happens very early in the boot process until Windows is still a part of the image.  Your computer is configured for a remote network via PXE boot and there is no this PXE server so that you get this error message.  With PXE network boot, you can start a computer without him having a hard drive, the operating system resides on another machine on the network.  When the BIOS does not find the PXE server it gives you the error message, and then it proceeds to the next start equipment, which is probably your local hard drive.  Go into the BIOS and disable the PXE boot option or move it to the bottom of the boot order so that the hard drive is set as the primary boot device.

  Now there is more.  Frustrated, I tried to follow guides anyway.  So I followed the following steps:

  Step #3 game

  (1) open Internet browser

  (2) Type%windir%\system32into the browser address bar.

  (3) find the CMD.exe file

  (4) make a right click on CMD.exe and selectrun as administrator

  (5) type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, click Yes)

  (6) type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing

  (7) type: Rename tokens.dat tokens.bar

  (8) type: cd %windir%\system32

  (9) Typenet start slsvc

  (10) type: cscript slmgr.vbs - FLIR (it may take time for this will be complete, please be patient)

  (11) restart twice

  Not only that not solve my problem (since I was in safe mode I was refused permission), but it has created a new problem.  Now when I start my computer normally, IM is more given three options (reduced functionality mode, enter a product key, contact HP).

  Instead, when I log on, an error pops up saying: "Insert the Windows CD or installation DVD into your computer to begin the process of resettlement." Now, my computer was shipped with windows and everything installed by the factory with the sticker on the side of the tower.  I have no Dvd or Cd.

  I've had this computer for almost 3 years and I can not lose what I have on my computer. I have a genuine copy of Windows.  I have no idea what I'm supposed to do now.

  I had the same problem with Windows updates asking permission of the administrator when I was logged in as an administrator. Sometimes the Windows updates works fine and sometimes it has its flaws, but there is usually a way around it if you want to install the update. And here's one to try: go to start > Windows Update. You can eliminate the problem promptly Admin here by clicking on change settings in the sidebar and check the box that allow all users to install updates on this computer. You can always change it back again after you install the updates that you want. I hope this helps.
