Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit has a record of program data as well as the two program files folders?

Just got a Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit installation business, I noticed that some Instalss did not work properly. I noticed two folders in program files, I know are there for 32 and 64-bit programs, but I don't have a program data folder as I did when I got Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit

Yes, you need to them.

Programs of data - stores data in your applications.

Program Files (x 86) - stores your 32-bit applications

Program file - store your 64-bit applications.

This is only on 64 bit versions of Windows.

Its ok, so leave it alone.

  • Can be used on Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit memory

I have a Lenovo T500 running Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit with 4 GB of RAM installed, but Windows only is 2.46 GB usable. I understand that there may be some PCI, graphics or other card using the part, but what I've seen, it's that I should wait longer in the GB 3.2 - 3.5 being usable.

I have a card ATI Radeon HD 3650 installed and when I look at its properties lists the "Total available graphics memory" 1258 MB, but the "dedicated video Memor" up to 256 MB, the "system video memory" at 0 MB and 'Shared video memory' 1002 MB. Could he explain to me? 1258 MB seems excessive, but I don't see any setting where to control it, not even in the ATI Catalyst Center.

Can someone help me understand how to free the rest?

    Hi team,

I bought this laptop a month back and still not able to understand the problem with the video driver.

    Laptop model - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-15-3537

Issue - AMD Radeon HD 8670 M Driver does not not in Windows 7 Enterprise. Error - driver has stopped working.

    Drivers have tried - http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/ag/en/19/driverdetails?driverid=P28NG

    Help, please.

I called Dell phone Support and they helped me solve the problem.

    Solution: -.

Step 1 - updated BIOS to latest version

Step 2 - before you install the AMD driver, install the Intel HD Graphics driver 4400 (most of people think that is not necessary because we have a dedicated external AMD card. "It was my mistake too). You can download it from Dell support.

Step 3 - install AMD Radeon HD M 8670 driver

  • Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) has no install the AHCI Driver

When I built my current computer system in May 2011, I have not encountered this problem with installing 64-bit Windows 7 Pro on the new 500 GB Western Digital HARD drive.  In fact, I installed Win7 three times (to wipe the drive with DBAN after the first and second installs) before I was satisfied with the third installation.

Before the first installation, I configured the BIOS of card mother Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 (Maj) SATA AHCI (with SATA 3.0) and copy the driver AHCI of CD Gigabyte on a SanDisk Cruzer USB (4 GB).  The GA-890FXA-UD5 (revision 2.1, version of the F6 BIOS) has an AMD chipset.

During each installation, the Win7 Installer reported that she could not find a HARD drive and offered the option to load a driver.  I used this option, and the installation program displays a dialog box with whom I sailed the Cruzer to select AHCI driver.  Each time, Setup loaded the driver with success smoothly.  Of course, I still have the installation of Microsoft Windows 7 Pro DVD, purchased with a full license of the retail.

Example: two years later, after that I started to meet various problems for which I could find no cause, no resolution, I suspected malware or corruption of the registry.  To make a long story short, eventually I decided to erase the internal HARD drive once again, after you save the data files on an external USB HDD.

Win7 Setup now follows the same routine, of course.  Except that now, it will fail to load the driver AHCI of the SanDisk Cruzer (!).  I've also removed the Win7 installation DVD, loaded the CD Gigabyte, sailed to the driver and selected.  The Win7 Installer is always not load.  In addition, before you run the Win7 Installer for other attempts, I connected the USB HDD external and sailed to a copy archived AHCI driver on it, but Win7 Setup could not load.  I have made many and repeated attempts, with all the storage media at hand, that contains a copy of the driver AHCI files, but not joy.

For what it's worth, I also ran the software on the repair disk I did shortly after installing Win7 Pro, and he couldn't load the driver AHCI of the SanDisk Cruzer with CD Gigabyte, respectively.

Then I reconfigured the BIOS of the motherboard to SATA IDE (with SATA 3.0) and rebooted the system.  You might think that Win7 Setup would have a suitable driver for the AMD SATA IDE, since she has one for the reader to optical disc Samsung DVD-Writer (obviously), but it did not find a HARD drive.  Then I sailed in the appropriate driver AMD x 64 on the CD of Gigabyte IDE files, but Setup cannot load it, too.

Question: why Windows 7 Pro 64-bit Setup does not install the driver AHCI, and what can I do about it?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

AHCI (Advanced Host controller) makes the NCQ (Native Command Files) with connection to warm or hot swapping through host controllers SATA Serial - ATA possible; Vista was the first to offer this feature. The problem with AHCI is that it must be enabled in BIOS before the installation of the OS. After installing the operating system will disable the PC. The reason why Windows disable the AHCI drivers not not needed during installation.

I suggest you activate the AHCI after installing the operating system if you already enable AHCI in the BIOS, when you installed the operating system.

Warning: This section, method, or task contains steps that tells you how to change the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. • Problem network card under Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit

Hello. In our Organization a few days, the following problems occur. Windows 7 32 bit installed on a machine intel NIC 82579lm lost communication. This thing happened to 12 32-bit machines. TCP/ipv4 Protocol is inactive. Reinstall the drivers, but the result is the same. At the beginning of the Working Group network card live cd. Restore point a mistake that does not unfortunately. Help, please.

We found that a temporary solution begins at the point of restoration from the installation CD. So stop updates. Most likely, the problem is updated after the 22/10/2013.

    Hello

Here are some tips that I wrote on Vista and Windows updates.

It also applies to Windows 7.

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the "bad" for your configuration, unless you read the information on the number of special KB and what it is for.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

    'Remove an update'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-an-update

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

"How to hide or show an update of Windows Vista"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/72491-Windows-Update.html

Here's how to chanage update settings, if you think it is necessary to:

"Understanding Windows Update and Extras in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/Windows-Vista-updates-and-extras/

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

    See you soon.

I was able to install 10 32-bit and 64-bit, windows 8.1 32-bit and 64-bit windows. When I try to install windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit, I have no keyboard no mouse when I get to the windows installation screen. I tried to install a usb flash drive, but also a dvd image, still no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit - Workstation service cannot start (mrxsmb.sys)

Recently, I applied all the patches to my laptop HP 6930p including KB978251.  After the reboot, I was unable to access network shares or use integrated authentication.  A little digging in the case of newspapers found that the workstation service is not started because mrxsmb.sys failed to load.  Due to the number of patches and a few other installs this patch system restore point came out the list of available rollbacks so I uninstalled the update of the control panel and restarted.  No chance after the restart and I checked the mrxsmb.sys file date/time stamp, and it's always the patched version.  Ideas on how to find and manually restore this file back to the previous version?

  • Reinstalling driver Photosmart C4600 fails on windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

I ran HP print and utility of doctor Scan on my windows 64 - bit 7 and utility reported some problems with the driver (not exactly) and suggested that the driver installation updated on HP site. So I uninstalled the driver (using uninstall programs and features) and wanted to install the latest version.

The driver pack that was / is available on the website of HP drivers is the same as the one I used to install my all-in-one printer (PS_AIO_05_C4600_NonNet_Full_Win_enu_140_047) originally. As I uninstalled the driver, I had to install again. I have use any additional tools and utilities of this complete pack, so I downloaded basic pack (PS_AIO_05_C4600_NonNet_Basic_Win_enu_140_047) and start the installation.

At one point installer prompted me to connect the printer to the USB port, I did, and began installing plug-and-play of windows. It first update of windows, then "driver usual places" and in the end consider them this peripheral driver for Photosmart C4600 is not found.

Of course, I did install using account with administrator privileges.

That's what I tried later.  Before each attempt to (re) install driver I disconnected printer USB, uninstalled the driver and it does not connect again before the guest asked for it:

-logged on to windows as built in admin and install the package, USB printer when prompted to do so, install HP acknowledges the device - PnP MSI not found driver, while the hp installation program continues to run constantly

-logged on windows with administrator privileges, disabled the anti-virus, install the package, I have attached USB printer when prompted to do so - guess what? Windows found the driver for Photosmar C4600, hp Setup works and works up to the judgment of the Task Manager

-tried both with a complete package and base - the same thing, windows can't find a driver

-installation of the hp driver running with the option of reaching this last printer - did not help, everything seems to be properly installed, but what printer is actually connected to USB windows began to look for the driver and the reports that it can't find it

-Switch USB ports on pc - the same

I tried to link the driver manually: with the driver installed and Photosmart hp package attached (in devices and printers Photosmart C4600 was presented as unknown device) I opened the properties of the device C4600, went to tip (or something like that), clicked on update driver, specify location manually, I entered "C:\". "and checked"search subdirectories"- windows reported versatile (well, it was not exactly what was written but it was the sense), but it says this disk file cannot be installed.

I noticed that it is not DOT4USB port on the list of printer ports without worrying if the driver is installed or is not (uninstalled).

any suggestion, advice,...? I missed something?

o, Yes, the pc that I use is hp compaq 8200, Photosmart C4680 printer (all in one).

    Thank you

    Hi pcwizard,.

I don't see your replay. So that's what I did at the same time:

Fixing HP Digital Imaging Monitor tray application

    (1) I logged of and logged back on - this installer started "TrayApp" once again

    (2) when I was prompted to specify the path to the installation files I've come to the place where I unzipped full package files and clicked OK

    (3) there was some additional prompts to specify the path to the installation files different and I repeated it step 2) every time

This problem asks to tray HP Digital Imaging Monitor.

    Fixing HP Solution Center

    (1) I went to the folder "setup\solutioncenter" in the complete package; There is a .msi file and two .cab files.

    (2) I have a right-click on .msi and chosen the option "repair". This started the installation process (simple left doubleclick run application but returns the error).

    (3) I restarted computer when prompted

    This fixed solutions Center

Yes, during the race configuration according to your instructions to reinstall the full package (I don't see any possibility of a chosen what to install) the steps I made allowed me to install the just specific application (Solution Center). But obviously, this installs only application or module for which particular .msi was created. If some features require several applications/modules, it can be difficult to reinstall just this particular feature in this way.
