infinite loop when connecting to time warner cable
I get an infinite loop when you try to connect, it keeps going to connect and flashing then go back to the login page. This site allows me to watch TV via my internet connection that works normally, including HBO, pay-per-view movies, guide, etc. Currently only Firefox works, but I prefer to use Safari who has this problem.
I suggest you only begin by taking the measures recommended in this support article.

ShowWindow enter an infinite loop when you try to open a subfolder of a file system shell extension
Hi all,
I've implemented a file system shell extension. Everything works fine, but the next case: the user tries to open a subfolder of the extended file system (double clicking on its icon, for example), but an error is detected. When the ShowWindow is called to display the error message, the thread enters an infinite loop within the ShowWindow function.
It seems that the shell access mode when double click to open a subfolder which prohibits the display of new windows.
Have someone faced this situation? Can anyone give me a suggestion in order to investigate in the right direction?
I thank very you much.
Hello
I discovered the reason for the behavior represented: I created the message window as a child of the display window. At the opening of the subfolder view window becomes disabled, which also affect the child window. Definition of the parent to NULL window I solved the problem.

DeskJet 5652 under Windows 7 - scalling useless when using autoduplexer
Hello
I am very disappointed about Windows 7 drivers for DeskJet 5652 printer. Drivers have some bugs:
When I printed the document on both sides of the paper (with automatic duplex unit) printer do some page scalling (it increases the margins at the top and bottom of the page) - impression seems strange because all that the page is a bit shorter, also fonts like Times New Roman, Arial, etc looks like... strange, different because of this unnecessary scalling. It only happens when I use the auto duplexer.
I tried to fix it myself. I tried to change the print processor in the settings of the printer of hpzppwn7 to winprint and got partial success - printer doesn't no matter what scalling (using the duplexer) but something else does not-number of copies. When I change the number of copies from 1 to i. e. 3 in the windows printer window and also in the advanced drivers tab - it does not print only one copy. This parameter is ignored in winprint.
Please fix these problems, because this printer is useless in Windows 7... It is very unfortunate, it is not that old!
You plan out an another Windows 7 drivers for this printer? Maybe some fix?
Greetings and thanks for your help!
Peter

* CursorOrigin: PAIR (150, 83)
Can you explain these three parameters: PrintableArea, PrintableOrigin, and CursorOrigin? What do these numbers mean?
I think that the solution to my problem is in these numbers...
What do you think?
You have the possibility to compare these numbers with HP Windows XP drivers?
I don't have access to the Windows XP driver settings, they are not as "readable" as Vista or Windows 7 gpd files. The above figures are the page dimensions in units of 1/1200 ". The top left of the page is (0,0). In the example above the beginning of the printable area is 150 (83) or 0.125 "from left edge and 0.07" down from the top. The lower edge of the printable area is the printable origin as well as the printable area. "This ends (13269 + 83) / 1200 or 11,13", leaving a margin of 0.57 down "on A4 size paper. Sounds a bit heavy, I think 0.46 "the bottom margin would be satisfactory.
The printible origin is the upper-left corner of the area to print in portrait mode, it would be the top right of the page if printing landscape.
If you want to "tweak" the DPG file I suggest to take a glance at the instructions to install the patch Vista Duplex printing here. Basically, you want to make a copy of the DPG file and make the necessary changes. Then you will need to open an administrative command prompt, rename the original gpd file for backup and a copy of the new file. You will need to stop the spooler, delete all the hp*.bud files, then restart the spooler. This will cause the DPG file to read and bud files to regenerate. The number you want to change would be the second number in the pair of the printable area. You might try to increase the number of courses that move the margin from the bottom to the low 0.09 ", leaving a margin of 0.46 108 lower." You can also experiment with other numbers, but at some point, you will hit the physical limit of the size of the paper.

Windows 7 reload in infinite loop: Dell E6400 laptop
Laptop Dell E6400 frozen at windows startup. At the command prompt and started Windows 7 32-bit reinstall from CDs. Reinstall has not completed, now it's this loop: starts windows - "the installation program starts services", then error message "computer... met an unexpected error... cannot continue... click OK to... to restart the installation.» I downloaded Win7 disk image - it is on the USB. When restarting, press F8 and choose Safe mode with command prompt, but it never gives me a command prompt, or will it take the USB. I also tried 'disable automatic restart in the event of system failure' as suggested in another post, but nothing never happens to me to where I can run Win7 reload. Please help me out of this infinite loop.
Hello
I can imagine the downside of not being able to make it work as it should, and I'll be happy to answer your query. I appreciate the efforts made in the patches that you tried.
This could be due to a hardware failure as well.
From now on, I would ask to refer to the suggestions in the thread below link and check the status.

Infinite loop of "Failure to configure Windows updates" Windows 8
Hello
Recently, I completely reset my laptop Windows 8. After reset, I installed all the updates (there were about 90) and restart as prompted. However, now the PC is stuck in an infinite loop trying to configure the updates, or configure them, then reboot and try again.
Like I can't pass the configuration screens, I can not troubleshoot or do anything since the PC itself and it's very frustrating and I don't know what to do.
Hello
This problem might have occurred because of these reasons:
1 external.
2. bad Windows Update settings.
3. conflicts between third party applications.
I suggest to start the computer using safe mode and then attempt to perform the steps in the article.
Step 1: Start the computer in Mode safe.
Start settings for Windows (including safe mode)
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-safe-mode
Step 2: Try the steps outlined in the article.
"Configuration of the Windows updates failed. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer"error when you try to install Windows updates
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/949358/en-us
Note:
- When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
- Please do not perform upgrade in-place or reinstalling Windows.
- After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, follow the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

Thanks for the update. I pass the developer and I hope he finds that they are useful.
A preliminary analysis shows some problems of Java:
1. report of the discharge of the thread Analyzer is a little misleading because of https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8036823
2 possible endless loop in the ScaledBlit routine on the thread main event: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8028539
Question 2 currently has no resolution, but there are a few (a potential solution?) fix for jdk1.8.0_40 (8u40). The latest official version is 8u11.
Assuming that the number 2 is the culprit on Ubuntu, just like on Windows, then 1st edition probably does not concern us. Just for reference, a backport of the Java correction for the 1st edition exists on jdk 1.7 and 1.8, but has yet to be officially released on either.
Kind regards

Has managed to recover from the infinite loop restart Vista SP1 "configuration updates stage 3 of 3 0%"- but Windows Update always wants me to install Vista SP1!
WIndows Update asks me to install Vista SP1. I did and got into the infamous infinite loop of SP1 (infinite loop ' configuration updates stage 3 of 3 0% "with Vista SP1). I used F8 to repair my computer, and I chose a restore before the SP1 update point has been installed. The restore point has been applied successfully, so I have the computer in the back. Super. However, Windows Update wants me reinstall Vista SP1. Needless to say, I am reluctant to do so. But I want to be aware of the Windows updates. What do I do? TIA
(With the help of Vista Home Premium)
This gives a whirlwind:
1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
1B. download the tool McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe
2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).
3. right click on the file that you saved in # 1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.
4. right click on the file that you saved in # 1 b above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.
5. ensure that the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/955430 and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821 have been installed. (If they were, they would belong to installed updates. If they don't, try to manually download/install.

Given to nine Compaq 7700, BSoD, boot XP infinite loop, can't even get past the black screen to enter Windows. STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF773B15F, 0XF78D2520, 0XF78D221C)
Help.
I just got a refurbished Compaq 7700. It has Windows XP for drives of the refurbished computers.
I try to boot from the hard drive (HD) and infinite loops, it is never past the initial home screen (black with blue status bar).
I can't open the safe or the HD mode, it freezes at kmxstart.sys and then restarts again.
Original title: given to nine Compaq 7700, BSoD, boot XP infinite loop, can't even get past the black screen, to enter Windows.
I tried to boot from the disk and created Windows appears, then load the files, but then automatically tries to start Windows (without repair option). It then jumps to the BSoD with error code (after advice to verify sufficient disk space, to disable the driver identified, to change video cards, BIOS updates...)
STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF773B15F, 0XF78D2520, 0XF78D221C)
Usbccgp.sys - address F773B15F base at F7737000, DateStamp 480254d 2
Apparently, this driver is a printer driver? I don't have a printer, but do not know how to disable it without access to windows.
I got a new Philips 18.5 "monitor, an optical mouse and a keyboard with it.
My guess is that the screen is the problem, because it was full again when I received and therefore not tested with the system before shipping. Not sure about the mouse and the keyboard.
I tried a few options in the BIOS screen as well, but no dice.
Help! Before shipping the brand new...
I thank you and have a wonderful new year.
Craig.
Howdy Daavee and Shekhar,
I hope that your day is going well.
It turns out that it was the hard drive, it was defective. The new unit arrived and it works beautifully. Thank you very much for all you help. I wish you a happy new year.

Startup Repair infinite loop Windows 7
Hi, yesterday my computer was working normally. Then, when I tried to start windows (from windows), Startup Repair came and it did not fix the problems, I tired every single method on the web, like; running chkdsk in invite command, reconstruction, mounting, Startup Manager, trying to launch (3 options) safe mode, debugging mode, disable automatic reboot error system, last known good configuration, repair my computer and restore the system. Everything that the web offers on this conflict, and I'm still stuck in this infinite loop, had no more left options (dealing with re - install, which worked, but again returned to the same conflict), someone out there please help.

Using the back button causes an infinite loop between the articles
Hi I have a folio with a series of projects, and I wanted to use the back option as different access for each project points
Goto://FolioNavigation/lastview
but each project has a section of the image that are associated with him, and it has a button on the back specifically to main article of the project. But when you click on the back button now the main artcile, need you for article image, not back to where the person wud have wanted to be.
I can't think of one work around other dating back to the use of specific page navto, but as the means to determine the access point that are not possible. Or double the articles entirely.
Any help appreciated.
Rob
found the solution. you use the goto://FolioNavigation/lastview
in the back option on the page of the image as wel. so he knows not to do infinite loop

Should there be two active instances of Adobe Flash player when using Firefox for windows?
Firefox (35.0.1) used my resources to i7 CPU like crazy lately, slow down the loading of the page, scroll, etc. I am running windows 8.1. When I went to Task Manager to see what was causing the slowdown, Firefox took 44.8% of my CPU, and I noticed that there two instances of Adobe Flash active at the same time when I'm on enough image/video heavy pages like Salon.com. These two took about 5-10% of CPU. Then came in the container for Firefox which was an increase of 2.4%. Is this normal?
IF you have more than one plugin flash on a Web page, this is normal.
