Windows 7 is not genuine & error 0xC004F063 code
Recently the windows phone 7 OS ultimate, said that this copy of windows is not genuine, so I tried to go online to solve.
When I went to the website they told me to go to (http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate/DownloadValidationSupport.aspx?displaylang=en&Error=52&sGuid=0491ab8d-4e8e-45ce-8fab-f03615d59081&OSV=6.1.7600.2.00010100.0.0.001.00.1033&GenuineInfo=C004F063&ls=3), I downloaded the update and after it finished I clicked "continue" but it kept telling me to wait for it to finish installing, even though it has already finished. So, not help.
When I tried to enter the activation code provided with the computer, it says that it does not work with my version of Windows 7 (more funny thing is, my computer came with a disk called "Windows 7" professional but after I installed it on my computer, it appears under Windows 7 ULTIMATE).
When I used a program to find my true activation code, error 0xC004F063 code came. I read somewhere that the difficulty I have downgrade to my previous version of Windows, which is XP, and re-setting level to Windows 7. I tried to do, but I never got past the 2nd step, which tells me to insert the Windows 7 disc in my drive and restart the computer. The Windows Installer never came after the reboot window.
Can someone tell me please how to fix the error 0xC004F063 code? I think this is the root of all the problems, because I do not think that any product key will work due to this error code. And please don't tell me to contact Microsoft technical support or anything like that because I don't have the time or patience to go through these steps, so please tell me directly how to solve.
I would try to revive by phone:
Activate Windows 7 manually:
1. click on start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 42. press enter on your keyboard
3. Select your country.
4. Select the telephone activation option and brace yourself for a real person.Releasing it's easy: with Windows | ActiveWin | Laptops | Microsoft MVP

Vista will not start! Black screen, no mouse, no cursor pointer. Startup Repair cannot repair. Details say 'wrong pass '. It looks like all the files are well intact on the disk.
What is the correct for pkgmgr syntax when you try to uninstall an update by using a command prompt when starting Vista OS disk? I entered the following in the "x:\Sources >" prompt:
start /w pkgmgr/o: "C:\; /Up:Package_1_for_KB2840149~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.0.1.0 C:\Windows.
When I run this command it ends quickly and when I run 'echo %errorlevel%' I get '5', which seems to mean 'access denied'. How am I supposed to have access to remove the patch? Am I missing something? Perhaps a switch in the syntax to access? Help, please. Thank you.
I tried both options that you recommended. As initially stated, no boot option would produce something other than the black screen. I tried to boot from a drive and restoring the system running, but she didn't, and when I tried to do it again the recovery console could not find restore points. ?.
An update, the computer is now fixed. Oddly enough, I ran recovery of starting a drive at least 8 times and each time I checked the details and he said: he ran chkdsk without error and return to the same cause "a patch is preventing windows to start. I even ran chkdsk c: /f from a prompt command from the recovery disk and it found no errors. That's when I posted the question above after trying to remove the patch in the manner described above. After some time and frustration, I decided to run chkdsk /r c:. It took awhile, but it found 1 bad sector, moved the data, the bad sector tag and finished. Once I restarted from that, everything came and went very well.
So, the original question remains, what was missing in the command to run pkgmgr/high: successfully. And the new question exists as to why start Recovery claims run chkdsk if it does not, or he turns the version/f not the version/r the same as I did manually? It would be good to know for the future. Thank you!

Victorinox original title: Black scree & blue screen...
So my laptop that is running Windows xp, start in normal mode after windows xp bar charge it gives black screen and it stays like this, and in safe mode it gives blue screen, what can I do? I need your help atleast to save the files to my hard drive...
Hello
· What is the error code or error message that you receive when the computer starts in safe mode?
· Were there any changes made on the computer before the show?
· What is the number and the model of the computer?
· Who is the service pack installed?
Try the methods below:
Method 1: Disconnect all the devices connected to the computer such as printers, scanners or USB hard drives and restart the computer and check if that helps.
Method 2:
Try to start your computer in last known good configuration. You can check the link for the procedure: how to start your computer by using last good known Windows XP Configuration: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307852
Method 3:
You can follow the steps listed in the link: after the Windows Logo appears, or after you log on Windows, a Windows XP computer can display the wallpaper, a black screen or a blue screen: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318027

Vista does not load a black screen with arrow
Windows Vista will load only a black screen with the white mouse arrow. I can move the arrow but by pressing the keys (including ctrl-alt-del and ctrl-shift-esc) does nothing. The only way to turn off here is to press and hold the power button. Same thing in safe mode.
I tried the "Repair your computer" option (F8, or from the Windows DVD). The Startup Repair option says that he finds no problem. There is no restore point on the computer if it is not an option (it isn't my computer, the person who owns it is said that there should be a restore point, but if there is, the computer can't find it).
The Dell (F12--> Diagnostics) system diagnostics found no problem (I'm sure this isn't a hardware problem).
I tried to do a "repair installation" as in Windows XP, but this isn't an option in Vista. The closest thing is an upgrade installation (boot from the Windows DVD, select install, upgrade). But this option is grayed out, and he said to level I have to start the installation of Windows. But of course Windows won't load. Very smart Microsoft...
The only option left is to do a clean install. All programs and files are saved if we have all the data. It will be just to save a lot of time and hassle if I can avoid it, and I'm surprised that such a feature/option useful XP has disappeared from Vista.
Any ideas how I can fix this without having to do a clean install? Thank you!
Hello biznatch.
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.
Unfortunately, after trying a startup repair and hovaing, restore points is no longer to go to resettlement is all that remains to be done. Excuse me, but this is what must be done. It is excellent that you have already backed up your important information.
Thank you

Windows 7 is not genuine 7601 build (MGA posted results)
I have a copy of Windows 7 Home premium in a few years, I bought at Costco. In September 2015, I had a collapse of PC, so I built a new machine i7 with 16 GB of RAM, a 250 GB, 4 GB video card SSD, etc..
From time to time I get the "windows 7 is not genuine, Build 7601" error. I found a solution that will remove the message for about a month, then it returns.
My other three machines run Windows 10. This machine win 7 is my PC photography business, running Adobe cloud, and tons of plugins and software publishing, I have NO desire to mess with.
I tried these fixes this morning, but still the message:

Thank you
Moreover, the response to
I just found a copy of my restore DVD and a Bootable CD with Diagnostics, for original HP desktop which is dead. But now I have a brand new machine.
These discs can somehow convince Windows that my installation is legitimate?
is your computer HP no. had an OEM license, and may not be transferred to another computer. Try to use these discs to the computer somehow on-the-job will ensure that you will never fix your activation problem.
- - - - - - - - - - - -
In your new question, it might be advisable to use activation by telephone. You can get the number to use by typing slui 4 [not only slui] in your search box of the start menu.
There might be a technical problem that needs fixing first, so you could wait and the advice. There are problems in other parts of the system that can destroy havoc of activation as having a substantially incorrect clock time.

Copy of Windows 7 is not genuine?
I bought a used laptop from HP 6530 work b before they closed our factory in January 2013. They cleaned the hard drive and installed what I thought was an honest and active Windows 7 OS on it. I have not used the laptop in a few months and I now have a "Windows 7 Build 7600 this copy of Windows is not genuine" error message when if starts. Perhaps they installed a trial of 90 days? Please see the bulletin MGADiag details below. If I purchase a new license, it will be considered an upgrade since the original machine was XP or Vista on it, and it's tough to read the label of product on the lower part of the laptop? I get a pop up window that says that my Windows 7 is not genuine.
Genuine windows 7
I get a pop up window that says that my Windows 7 is not genuine. The computer came with XP and an upgrade to 7. I recently had the computer erased and reinstalled windows. However, since some only and now the error started appearing. To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, pleasePlease also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

. MY WINDOWS 7 IS NOT GENUINE PLS HELP TY GOD BLESS US ALL
When you request support, please provide the number full name or product model of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq made thousands of computer models. Without this information, it can be difficult, even impossible to help you solve your problem.
The information requested above are at the bottom of your computer or inside the battery compartment. , Please do not include your serial number. Please enter the product/model information consumer HP Online Support page and post it here for our review.
It is normally the result of one or more corrupted files 'Activation' of Windows or a problem with the BIOS of the computer. Dell, HP, Toshiba, Sony, computers etc that come with the use of Windows 7 a pre-activation SLP/OA 2.1 System. This system requires a BIOS with an SLP/SLIC 2.1 table to activate a SLP 2.1 OEM Windows 7 product key and a "certificate" of SLP 2.1 OEM. If any on these is damaged or missing, Windows will become "non-genuine".
Back up all your personal data and files, then recovering your computer to a factory State. This should solve the problem. If this does not resolve the problem, you may have a problem with the SLIC table in BIOS. Please report back with the step that you tried and the results.
Alternatively, if you still can still read the product key 25 character on the Microsoft COA affixed to your computer, try to use it to activate your computer.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Please click the 'Thumbs Up' white LAURELS to show your appreciation

Windows 7 does not recognize my external screen. I checked the driver and even of the went to the NVIDIA site and plugged my material for my graphics card ID to get the correct driver and yet, it does not recognize it! So here's what I have right now since I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate edition = Standard VGA graphics card. If someone has a legitimate solution to this problem, feel free to comment! Thank you
