Windows 7 Word

By using the word, there is an annoying problem of the cursor moving to another location without any intervention on my part.  This is probably related to a previous update, but it's one I'd like to remove.

How can I change this?  Even while I was typing this note, I have experienced the same problem, and then have to pick up the new location of the slider and adjust the text accordingly.

This is usually caused by the Palm spraying it inadvertently on the touchpad. Disable the touchpad to fix.

  • HP Envy 5530: HP Envy 5530 truncates (chops) image of Snip and Snipping Tool Windows 10, Word 2007

Hello. My HP Envy 5530 newly purchased printer truncates images captured from Snip, Snipping Tool and screen printing. Image appears perfectly when placed in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS-Paint, etc., however, when printing on the 5530 want appears the image enlarged, as well as 30% or more of the image gets truncated or cut off.  I have tried other "resolutions" posted, but they do not work. I wasn't able to find a driver for the HP 9800, as suggested in another post (HP says it is not available). Everything worked before installing this HP 5530 (I used Lexmark printer). I am on Windows (to date) 10 MS Office 2007 and reinstalled Snip & Snipping Tool. I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP 5530 and I ran the Scan Doctor utility that will return no error found. Does anyone have a similar problem and especially a solution?

    @PoloChrome

With no idea what you have tried (other "resolutions"), I offer the following to your attention:

    • Ensure your PDF viewer / reader software is on the latest version available for your operating system.  This is not negligible.  Create a Restore Point before the update / modify the software system yiour.
    • Never use copy - paste when you add images to your document (Word) > use Insert
    • Control image format when you change the size of the inserted picture
    • Consider "line spacing" when you insert a picture into the document using "tight" / options "Wrap Text".
    • Keep the image within the borders of the minimum margin - if all else fails, change the margins in "Close" to give more images of space
    • Consider that Office Word 2007 cannot respond to Windows 10 as expected
    • Make sure that you allow updates include patches Office 2007 available (assuming these are available)

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium: HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium does not print Windows with Word 2016 10 envelopes

After that I have upgraded to Windows 10 and Word 2016, envelope and label printing feature would no longer work on all-in-one printer, HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium.  Please provide any possible solution.

    Hi @dshirley22,

    Thanks for the response back.

I would at this point uninstall all previously installed printer software. If you need assistance, here is a document that can help - uninstalling the software of the printer (Windows).

Once the software is uninstalled, use the HP printer installation wizard to help install the software. This tool will search and find the version of the drivers and the printer software up-to-date.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • How can I inhibit a minimized window to Word 7 to open automatically when I close that I'm working on.

When I have multiple windows word open in word (or Excel, in fact), and I closed that I concluded that just work, another opens automatically.  It is not desirable because it is not related to the project I work on windows with other applications and obstructs these windows and turn away from my task. Is it possible to forbid to happen?

When I close a window I want select window and the application I want to use then, whether word or anything else.  In my view, what happening began when I moved from XP to vista and windows 7. It continues with 2013 Office in windows 8.

Well, I really think I know what causes the behavior you mention.  Have a look here:

  • Save a Word Doc from desktop in Windows Works word processor

Last week, the ability to save a document, Word of Windows works as an Office Word Document (doc) has disappeared from the choices in the Save as drop down in my Windows program, it works.  The only options that remain now are works (wks), Rich Text, only text and HTML.  In the year and a half, I had this laptop and Windows Vista with works that I was always able to save as doc when I send a document to those who have the office window--suddenly it is no longer possible.  I looked everywhere to see if there is an option where I can add the 'doc' save option back without success.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

  • Since the download of Windows 7, word 2002 and Word open but pad off less than a minute. Any suggestions?

    First message
    Microsoft Word has stopped working
Windows is checking for a solution

    Second message
A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available

Microsoft Word 2002 has not been certified for Windows 7, so there is a possibility of compatibility issues. Make sure that you install the latest Service Pack and patches. Also try to do a repair install and upgrade to a compatible version 2003 or 2007.

In regards to WordPad, give a try:
    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

  • How to type a word document like I did with Windows 7 word processor

How to type a word document that I did on the processing on Vista?

Microsoft Office (incl. Word) does not include Windows 8 (or another version of Windows): it is a suite of applications that can be purchased separately. If you had before and he did not buy, it was probably a "OEM version" which was supplied by the manufacturer of your PC (& that you paid at the same time that your PC). You should also note that software OEM is linked to its origin PC (motherboard actually) and cannot be transferred to a new machine.

Check if you were supposed to get Microsoft Office with your current PC.

If you have Windows 8, you should be able to access Word through a tile on the Start screen. You can check if its installed by looking in the programs and features control Panelsection.

If you do not have Microsoft Word you can buy it individually or part of a suite Microsoft Office. Please see:

    http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/products/?CTT=97 .

Windows 8 still has the built-in basis called WordPad word processing. Just type WordPad when the Start screen until it appears.

There are other available word processing programs, including those that are free.

  • the Office Windows and word and upgrade to 7

I do a clean update of Vista to 7 on my Pavilion M8547c. Where can I get word and office that were pre installed on my machine? I have 20 letters and numbers to ID 2 programs. I looked on the MS site and could not find a free download.

Mishka wrote: I did not yet installed windows 7 and I don't have the original HP vista recovery disks. So if I understand correctly, I need to recover to the original vista (as delivered), before starting the upgrade process to Windows 7. I have a ultimate edition upgrade. I'm not very tech savy, so any help would be useful. Thank you

Hello mishka, thank you for the information. Since advise you that you did not install Windows 7 yet, and you do not have the game to restore HP Recovery disk, you will be able to solve this potential problem.

I remember that there may be a way to retrieve the applications of origin using the disk HP Recovery restore after I installed Winodws 7.

Here is the procedure to reinstall the applications on your system using the restore from the recovery disc.

Once completed your installation of Windows 7 and from the desktop, insert the recovery disk into your CD/DVD drive. Wait for the HP software to load. This will allow the CD to run and install the programs and drivers you choose.

Check what are the applications you want to install and press "install". You can uninstall the HP software later if you wish.

Select 'Applications' in the tabs listed.  If you are prompted to restart, click 'No' until all applications are installed. Choose "Reboot now" on the last request.

Open each program to ensure that they are properly installed. If the key codes are needed, control papers for the key of product supplied with the system. These will contain a compulsory license or key codes.

  • I deleted some software by accident - now I can't read my files of windows (like word). Should what software I download?

All of my windows files now are not recognized - as I do not have good software? I deleted it, try to free up space on my hard drive - but I indeed need this software: while my computer said I have no... I think that the software was called: windows 2003 pack basic service, although I do not know - and do not think the download.  I have a Windows XP laptop and really need to download this software again so I can read my files.  But I don't know what software I need?  I tried to download some software 2007 your site Web - but that did nothing.  Help, please?

These are the discs you originally installed the software from. Office 2003, if that's what we talk about, is too old for came in a version of direct download, so you must have instaled CD drives when you got it.
