Windows 8 and shift of screen sharing

Is there a problem with Adobe Connect 9 and Windows 8 screen sharing?  I noticed there is a topic a lag 2secs or more when I share my screen in Windows 8.  that is if I open a window or anything, participants do not see the change up to 2 to 3 seconds later.

I have excluded IE and Chrome because they both have the same problem.  I have also excluded the machine because if I run a virtual machine VM Ware with Windows 7 on the Windows 8 machine, then share the virtual Windows 7 machine screen, there is no lag.

Good, well then you probably a network problem (congested network), may be looking for a performance of a computer problem, some conflict with Connect and another application on your computer causing the shift, or something else entirely. Are you able to share your screen without lag on another computer on the same network? If so, who will be captured to eliminating the network and reduce it to your computer.

You can consider working with the Support from Adobe to see if they can help identify the problem as well. 800-945-9120.

You can also try the test of your computer page to see if something happens there. You can replace the URL of the server for the system you are using, but for my account, that is: test meeting connection

    Troubleshooting I executed before writing these lines:

    • Updated my nVidia drivers
    • Checked the themes and DWM Session Manager services, both started, both the Auto value
    • Ran the store built, the problem cannot be resolved
    • Running the Wizard Microsoft Fix It, he pointed out that my graphics card does not support Aero Glass

    So the GPU is not the problem, I've been running Aero until this problem has occurred.

    Well, I know it's more a matter of Microsoft than a Qosmio question, however, I think that it is better to ask here among others who can actually thought it out instead to pay $95 to Microsoft to answer a question which ought to be established somewhere anyway.

    I have a LAN in my house with several password protected Windows 2003 servers. I do not use a domain system because I've never been fond of roaming computers that belong to a domain.

    I prefer also to encrypt and password protect files on my computer using PGP disk password protect the machine itself. After all, my son likes to watch his cartoons on the computer and at the age of 3, type a password of 8 characters with high, low, numbers and signs of punctuation is a bit out of reach for the moment.

    So now I have bore you with all rebuttles to questions like "Why don't you do this rather", Let's get to the meat.

    Is anyway in Windows XP Media Center edition that when I connect to a shared directory on the server using Windows file sharing (SMB/CIFS), I can choose to save the password?

    This feature exists on XP Pro, but not on the House and I was under the impression that Media Center was closer to Pro home. If I can't find a solution to this, so I have to install XP Pro on the machine and not the Media Center extensions and this will make me really sad :(

    I can't install the windows updates. I have Windows Vista Home Premium. My automatic update is running... I studied and thought that the problem was with some service pack 2 I had to install - I did and nothing helped. My windows update history page is completley empty and Iwonder why. Also, I now can't seem to connect my Nokia phone to my computer as he finds the right driver online, but then it cannot install it. Can someone tell me what on Earth is cause of these problems.     Hello, I have an acer aspire one, and I just bought and installed upgrading windows 8 from the Microsoft site. He installed an "auditor of system" 1 who reported a few minor problems, but none of them were associated with wifi or touchscreen. after upgrade both the touch screen or wifi do any work! Good start of Microsoft! Why can't just work? "Anyway - I googled a little and found this is normal and I should have installed a pre-upgrade Acer 1 pack?  Is is true that I can't find it anywhere and I wonder if it exists, can someone point me in the right direction and also let me know if I can install it now that I have already installed windows8!   • Start-up delays between the Windows startup and the logon screen

    I have two PC's that have essentially the same Intel motherboard, but with different form factors. The smallest has a less powerful CPU and a slower hard drive. Still more has a significant delay between displaying the logon screen and Windows startup. Between the two, the display shows a cursor that cannot be moved through the mouse for 30 seconds or more, while on the smaller than the slider shows only for about a second.

    I realize, the problem could be many things, but I'm guessing that material or a device sound driver. I watched the event logs, but I couldn't see anything strange. I expected to see a "CPU does not ' or"USB 3.0 controller has a hardware problem"kind of thing. I ran Intel IPDT but he did not find a problem. Device Manager displays all of the problems. There is no graphics card on a system. I unplugged the USB cable to the printer, but that did nothing. No games are installed on a system. Nothing seems to be overheating. There is no network drive. All drives are SATA and BIOS is set to AHCI.

    Someone at - it the words of wisdom about what should I look for in the event logs?

    If it were my system:

    1. I'd be more suspicious of malware, run ADWcleaner and have a good antivirus program
    2. I would use the manufacturer of my disk drive hard testing program to ensure that it is not a failure
    3. I would like to be sure that none of the drives are more than 75% in use
    4. I would check my memory using the auditor memory Windows 7
    5. I would like to install and run Autoruns to check what is in the startup process
    6. AND, above all, focus on the applications installed.  Some of them are notorious resource hogs who insist on running at startup.
    7. Remove Programs/applications from starting unless I really need to start

  • My computer jumps out of the window active and videos full screen, (youtube/movies on computer)

    My problem is that whenever I'm not moving my mouse, my window random active jumps

    EX: the top on my active windows bar is black, then all of a sudden it wobbles a bit, and all of a sudden his gray, almost it has been disabled as long as the active window. Another example is, if I have Mozilla and spotify open, if you have spotify as active window, the screen jumps and suddenly, spotify is "behind" the mozilla window.

    and as far as movies go, I is not serious if his youtube or movies on my computer I can go full-screen in normal mode, he jumps out of it.

    so my question is how can I fix it, I've already updated everything so there is nothing wrong with my cards

    I thought about it, I suspect me that 1 of my desktop gadgets was perhaps to blame, I had 3 gadgets. Notepad, weather, and a cpu monitor. so I took the time and CPU monitor and now the jumping has stopped for now. I thought I would respond with this answer in case anyone else has this problem so that you can ask them if they have gadgets active which changes every few seconds as my CPU meter does help.     This is usually caused by hardware or software that is not compatible with Windows 7. If you have this problem, follow these steps:

    Wait about 10 minutes to see if the installation continues. If your hard drive seems to be working, the installation must be current. If your hard disk doesn't seem to work, go to step 2.

    Uninstall all antivirus software, and then restart your computer. Don't forget to enable antivirus software after you install Windows.

    If the installation fails again, it may be a hardware incompatibility problem. Go to the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on the Microsoft website to see if your computer can run Windows 7.

  • Apple Remote Desktop - updated and no more screen sharing

    I just took two laboratories of the iMac, 1 vote against and 34 2011 iMacs and the other with 34 2012 iMacs.  I installed ARD on a mini and liked power control and push packages units.  I updated all the iMacs 10.11.3 (15 d 21) and I am unable to screen share at all.  I can still push software, pull information but I can't connect to the computer.  I did some research and noticed that this could be a firewall issue.  Both my mac mini and the iMac have their firewall disabled.  I thought that perhaps it would be the mac mini but a single iMac is not respected and she 10.9 and I can't connect to it very well.

    I wonder if it could be a conflict with our laboratory software, LanSchool Lite.  I'm having trouble making fully deployed in each laboratory, and I wonder if she does something different in 10.11 vs 10.9 which would explain the screen share no longer works.  The only other software that we have are Sophos AV and Chrome.

    Any ideas would be welcome as im scratching my head on this one.

    Remove Sophos, delete LanSchool Lite and try again.   When things go weird, always remove antivirus and anti-malware (as a test, at least).  Or install 10.11 on a scratch Mac without these packages and see if you can connect.

  • Qosmio DX730 and Win8 - touch screen does not work

    My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.

    The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).

    I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.

    Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.

    But if I left, click on the button Edit... Picture It! 7 opens.

    To replace the string...

    'Default' to select, left click.

    Reach... Edit / change...

    In the "Edit String" field...

    Copy / paste the path to your program choice:

    "C:\Program Files\? \???. "exe" '%1'

    Left click... Ok.

    Now, your images will always open in the picture and Fax
    Viewer, but if you left click on Edit button... your image
    editing program opens...

    Certainly, you CAN install the basic version... but please understand WHAT it is... Windows Server Core is a * minimum installation * OS - with little or no graphical user interface.  So what you've seen is exactly as expected!
