Windows 8 crashes 30 sec after the journal on

Hello

I a win8 built custom pc that works perfectly for 8 months, a few days ago, I started as normal and the computer just froze about 30 seconds after the opening of the session, but the mouse still moves, he did it every time since. Here are a few points of things since I discovered:
  • Any program I opened in time to frost watch does not not on the top bar
  • In safe mode, I have the same problem
  • Once I screen work open and noticed at the time of freezing, as the disc goes to 100%
  • sometimes windows won't load properly (blue screen) and invites me to restart
  • When I put the disc at startup, refresh/reset functions do not work as restoration and auto repair
  • a few times when I get actually logged on I get a blue screen with the memory_management error message
  • Sometimes, the system cannot find the drive hard when I turn on (sometimes not recognized in the bios also)

At first, I thought it would be windows is corrupted somehow, then I thought it was the hard drive is faulty. I read a lot of forums about similar problems, but nothing is done especially as I can't get into windows long enough to change things. I did some checking using dos commands and the hd just happens ok. Is it a virus/memory problem I'm not sure.

can someone help?

Thanks for all help on this issue, now I discovered the problem, it's the fact that I had two hard drives one was an ssd that was the operating system on it, the other was a hard disk with data on it user, there was a problem with the hard drive so that meant when windows is passed to recall information on this disc it just froze the system I have now two ssd because they are much more reliable. I hope this post helps everyone to similar problems.

  • Windows 7 Pro 64 disabled after the system crash

    Hello. My active 64-bit Windows 7 system crashed this morning with the Blue Screen of Death. Restart is not possible - message "Bootmgr is missing" came. I used the repair disk, I did when I got to the computer to fix the boot sector and was able to start normally. But now Windows 7 is described as not authentic; previously, there has been properly activated. I tried to activate the system again, but received error messages, including 0xC004C003 which apparently means that the serial number is already in use. It's - it's mine!

    Some googling led me to try a system restore.  I tried a restore point of more recent, just system restore before updating to the latest version of Windows. It gave me the error message that the system restore did not finish and system files have been updated - 0xc0000022.

    In addition to searching led me to try from the command prompt (in as an administrator) "sfc/scannow". Who successfully completed reports that no violations not found and no file system not necessary change.

    Can anyone suggest how now can I reactivate my copy of Windows 7 Pro?  Apparently I left three days in which to do!

    Give a try:

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/2230957

    If this does not work, try the following:

    How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • Windows 8 crashes when running 'find the hardware changes' in the Device Manager, requiring forced stop

    I just installed Windows 8 Pro on a system that were running Windows 7 without problem.  After completing a clean Windows 8 Pro Setup program, I went from hollow driver installation, but found the package to install for my card its caused Windows 8 Pro drivers to lock up and become completely numb.  I had to force a shutdown by pressing the button for 4 seconds.

    Trying to solve the problem, I found that manually install the drivers through the device manager didn't cause any problems.  In addition, installation of the drivers available through Windows Update also worked without problem. However, these two methods fail to install parts of the pilot training included him.  Then I have to uninstall the device from the package of drivers again.  I uninstalled the sound card via Device Manager and selected "Delete the driver for this device."  When I followed this with a "Scan for hardware changes" again the list my sound card, I have found that Windows 8 Hung again.

    After trying other options with no resolution, I tried to reinstall fresh Windows 8.   To exclude a possible problem with Windows 8, I opened Device Manager, as soon as I could after installing Windows and ran "find the hardware changes.  New Windows 8 freezes.  I can't place blame on post installation any software or driver.  This seems to be a problem with Windows 8 itself.

    A final note, sometimes "find the hardware changes" will actually work, but most often it forces the system to hang.

    Does anyone else have this problem?  Can anyone provide assistance? (chart below for comparison)

    Processor: Core i7 3770 k

    Motherboard: MSI Z77A-GD80

    RAM: 16 GB

    Video: GeForce GTX 680

    Audio: Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D

    HARD drive: 1 x Corsair Force SSD 3

    RAID: 3 x 1 TB RAID 5

    It seems that I am victim of dynamic ticks.  Research on my question, I have found several discussions around the ' net for crashes/freezes random in Windows 8, but none of them appeared to agree to my problem.  However, they all had the same solutions.

    Run the following command in a command prompt to disable the dynamic ticks.

    bcdedit/set disabledynamictick Yes

    I thought that I have that would give a shot, and it worked.  I wrote this answer, I also found that there is a recent update of the BIOS for my motherboard which indicates "Support Windows8 feature."  With the new BIOS applied, I was able to turn dynamic ticks and have been broadcast since w/o freezes.  I also managed to install all my drivers.  Anyone else having this problem maybe try updating the motherboard BIOS, otherwise try the above command.

  • Windows 8 do not repair after the laptop broke down (my husband HP G60-125NR)

    Bought the upgrade of software online to win November 7, 2012.  PC has had several problems with HDMI on the laptop.  It would break and then we would get running again.

    Yesterday, my husband went to turn on his laptop and it crashed completely.  I created a bootable cd to download Win 8 we bought.  On reboot, we were happy... but not for long.  The repair feature would not work... no reason given.  It does not restore options, nothing works.  I went several forums to find a solution.
    Finally, we decided to reinstall windows and he said, it would not be installed because the PC is locked?  Frustrated!
    Tried once more and I have a message "Windows didn't prepare the computer to start the next phase of the installation."  To install Windows, restart the installation.
    Error:
    File: \Boot\BCD
    Status: 0xc000000f
    Boot your PC Configuration data is missing or contains errors
    Can anyone help with this?  My husband had some work/Word documents that he wants to save, and alas, he fears that he will lose all.  What choices do we have?  Don't forget, repair, restore and reset functions are all not working is not for us.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I come home and I tried the option you provided.  Thank you by the way.  I can't get past the first command prompt:

    BcdEdit/export \BCD_Backup C: (where BCD_Backup is the location where you want to reside) and press ENTER.
    (is there a letter or another command I should type after the backup of the word?  When I type in prompt up there, it indicates that the setting is incorrect) command prompts are confusing to me.
    I also shows that several facilities of Windows see examples:
    [1] C:\Windows.old.000\Windows
    [2] C:\Windows.old.001\Windows
    [3] C:\Windows
    At this point, I'm afraid that I won't get it her husband pc so that it starts.  It is a constant reboot and loop, I've been in the bootrec files and he says it has repaired, but in vain.
    See the messages in the refresh, reset and repair options:
    'Refresh' option and the message "the drive where Windows is installed is locked.  Unlock the drive ad try again".  How can I unlock a drive that would not even start?
    'Reset' - impossible to reset your PC.  A required disk partition is missing
    "Repair" - automatic repair couldn't fix your PC.
  • Instance of Windows 10 accidents 24 hours after the restoration of a snapshot

    Hello

    I have a problem with my Windows 10 techniques instance overview and I thought that if you could help me. Any help is appreciated.

    Host: HP BL460c (intel)

    5.5 ESXi

    Guest operating system: Windows Technical Preview Build 10061 10

    VM version 10

    2 CPU, 8 GB of memory

    When the guest operating system has been powered on AND nobody has used it for exactly 24 hours it crashes. So I return it from a snapshot and after 24 hours, it goes down. If I look at the events in vCenter I see: "fatal error VMware ESX: bora/devices/ahci/ahci_user.c:1521 NOT_REACHED (vcpu-0)" I know that this is not a supported Windows version, but I was hoping someone might know what means this error and perhaps point me to the right direction. All previous versions of windows 10 worked perfectly and from the logs of Windows, it seems fair that someone has suddenly didn't pull the power supply cable so no luck there.

    Since the newspaper just before the accident:

  • 10 Windows compatible printers: printer problems after the upgrade to Windows 10

    If you're wondering what HP printers are compatible with Windows 10, see this HP support doc: Windows 10 compatible printers.

    If you re having a problem with your HP printer after the upgrade of your Windows 10 PC, printer problems after upgrade to Windows 10 could solve your problem. He treats all kinds of questions such as:

    • Cannot print after upgrading
    • Cannot parse after upgrade
    • Printer software installation & screen opens instead of HP printer Assistant
    • "HP solutions Center can not run" or "Scan is busy or in use" error with a network connected printer
    • Multiple display of printer in the HP printer Assistant names
    • Can not scan or fax with HP Solution Center after that disabling HP programs to improve performance
    • "Access denied" error change HP Solution Center print settings
    • Cannot print with a pilot integrated Windows (Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East only)
    • Fax device are not not in the devices and printers connected to a USB printer
    • HP Printer Wizard does not open with a USB connected printer

For example, if you have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium e-all-in-one printer, open the Officejet section and search for "8600" instead of "Officejet 8600.

  • Windows 7 does not start after the installation of updates - sounds familiar!

    Apparently, I have another system that no longer starts after you install an update to Windows 7. New kick computer _ I have to disable the automatic update of windows. Twice I had to restore the system in the first week because he hung up after the installation of updates for windows 7. I have no idea what update is the cause of the problem.

    Essentially, start the screen goes black with the cursor blinking in the upper left corner of the screen. The only way out is to restore the system.

    Does anyone know what update is the culpret? HP support has no idea. Their only solution was to update windows 7 to 'never download an update from windows '. It is a terrible thing to be underestimated solution.

    Here's the resolution...

    I installed all the updates except KB2284742 954430, 973688 and 971033. So I decided to install these 1 4 at a time in the order shown. I installed successfully 228472 and 954430 and 973688 disappeared from the list of available updates. So I installed 971033 and it installed successfully and I was still able to restart.

    My conclusion is that there is a conflict between the first 3 updates when they are installed at the same time.

    Now my system is up to date with all windows updates and I'm able to restart without any problems!

  • Windows does not start until after the second day to have.

    I just got my laptop Toshiba yesterday with Windows 7 above. I used it for about 4 hours, when I'm done I turned it off by saying it close here go to start > stop. Before putting the laptop on I saw the lights on so I pressed the manual to close button, at the last second, I saw he said something as 341 on 356 updates installed, do not turn off the computer. I don't think a lot because I was tired so the next morning, I try to turn on my laptop and it stops after the Windows 7 load loading animation, and all I have is a black screen with a mouse. I tried to run in safe mode, same thing black screen with my ability to see where is my mouse.

  • Pavilion HDX 16: Windows 7 does not start after the upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello

    I have a system to dual-boot with windows 7 and ubuntu (with Windows 7 and NeoGrub Bootloader Windows Boot Manager).

    Recently, I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 via free upgrade offered by SM. However, I didn't like windows 10 and tried to upgrade to windows 7 by the following settings-> update of the security & -> Recovery-> Go Back to Windows 7.

    After the long process of decommissioning, cannot start windows 7 and the "Startup Repair" tool began to run. However, he could not solve the problem. Other recovery options 'system restore' and 'image system recovery' is not such that it could not find any restore point or the image created previously (I'm sure it were created before upgrade restore points).

    So, although I can boot ubuntu without any problem, I can't start windows 7. After the "starting windows" screen, I get the blue screen (a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down...).

    I intend to use the DVD to install windows 7 for repair, but

    (1) I don't know if I can boot from the CD because it is a dual-boot configuration

    (2) I'm afraid of losing work ubuntu OS.

    I appreciate if someone can help me find my Windows 7. I thank very you much for your time.

    Sorry, but there are a lot of reports on forums of Win10 the option of GoBack does not always work correctly.

    You should be able to boot properly from the same DVD of Win7 if you dual-boot with Ubuntu, but be aware, if the startup repair works (you may need to run three times), it will replace the link to start Linux in the MBR and after that, the machine starts immediately to Win7.  You will need to reinstall GRUB to get Ubuntu boot back.  You may be able to fix the boot of Ubuntu using repair boot: Boot-Repair - Community Ubuntu Documentation

  • Windows Update does not work after the hard drive has been replaced

    Hello
    I have the same problem, replaced in my Toshiba HD, rebuild from Sysimage, Windows Update does not work. A ran "fix the problem with the Microsoft Windows Update is not working.
    Problem still exist.
    The message that I got while trying to update: "Windows Update cannot currently check updates,
    because the service is not running. "You may need to restart you computer.
    Stop and then restart the service, still no luck.

    I ran Windows troubleshooting. He finds two problems with Windows Update components, it corrects.
    The problem still exists.

    The other post:

    Another interesting fact:
    After the reconstruction the new disk, user account control does not recognize Windows programs.
    for example: execution of Perfmon.exe, the Publisher is unknown! However, when I download the program Windows FixIt, Publisher is recognized as Microsoft Windows. It seems that user account control does not recognize the Windows programs that had found the new HD, but acknowledges those who is downloaded from the internet.
    I guess there is a problem with the license, Windows was preinstalled on the Toshiba and replace the hard drive could have caused a few conflicts of licensing.

    The same problem. Cloned old HD on a larger hard drive. Everything worked perfectly except NO indexing and update WITHOUT windows - the two recurring problems that seem to appear on the forums after a change of hard disk.

    INDEXING resolved with change to "Intel rapid storage technology." Google what I put in quotes, choose the Download Center and get the specific to your OP and the controller software.

    UPDATES have been a little more frustrating. The microsoft .fixes and convenience stores were without help.

    Go to control panel / system and Maintenance / administration tools

    Select Services

    Stop the Background Intelligent Transfer Service

    Stop Windows Update

    In 'My Computer' go to Windows / Software Distribution

    Right-click "DataStore" folder. Rename it to Datastore.old

    Rename the folder 'Download' Download.old

    Return to Services and restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and Windows Update.

    Look for the updates. It will take some time because you deleted the database.

  • Windows Vista will not start after the automatic installation of the patch Ms.

    My Dell laptop does an automatic installation of the latest MS patches (12/08/10) and now he can't boot into windows.  All tests show that the material is fine, but an error at the end of the "bad update patch" said test results I can not even to go back to a previous restore point.  This happened to me the year last on my desk... same thing, but it's XP which could not start after an automatic update for the Member States.  Dell technical support told me that MS knows what is happening, but it is not supposed to be public knowledge.  I need to know if there is a fix, in addition to erase everything and do a complete reinstallation of the operating system.

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
  • HP envy 17 can not boot windows or using recovery DVDs after the replacement of the motherboard
    Hi all, I need your help
    first of all sorry for my English but I'm from Greece. I really don't know a lot about the mobile only very basic computer.
    I have a hp envy 17 3d 2080en with windows 7 Home premium which, after overheating, chips to the motherboard. I ordered and installed a used motherboard from China (part 630793-001 hp number).
    After that I tried to start the laptop, but when he opens he said probably due to the change of the material he cannot start windows normally. After reading a lot on the internet, that I tried using the recovery DVDs I had prepared before the problem, but they will not start just yet. Then, I tried to use the cd system repair but again no luck.
    I looked in the bios as some people say on the internet and realized that the product number and serial number are different from those of my laptop and it's maybe part of the problem, but I don't know. I looked in other posts about similar problems, but did not get a definitive answer and this is why I post for your help.
    Thanks to you all
    Nikos
    IF YOU HAVE AN HP LAPTOP (MINE IS HP ENVY 3D 2080EN) THAT YOU HAVE CHANGED THE MOTHERBOARD WITH ANOTER ONE (MINE WAS FRIED OVERHEATING) AND AFTER REPLACING YOUR LAPTOP DOES NOT START AND YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH SYSTEM REPAIR DISC OR DOES NOT PERFORM A CLEAN WINDOWS INSTALL OR DON'T LISTEN NOT A RECOVERY CD/DVD RECOVERY THEN EXPERTS HP WHO KNOW NOTHING. LOOK IN YOUR BIOS, AND IF YOU SEE THE PRODUCT NUMBER OR SERIAL NUMBER DIFFERENT THAN THOSE APPEARING ON YOUR COMPUTER (USUALLY IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT) THEN GO TO A HP SERVICE ALLOWED AND TELL THEM TO HAVE YOYR TATTOOED BIOS. WITH THE TATOO (COST US $ 40), THEY WILL REPLACE THE NUMBER OF BAD PRODUCT AND/OR THE SERIAL NUMBER WITH YOUR MOBILE PHONE NUMBERS AND YOUR PROBLEM IS SOLVED. MY MOTHERBOARD HAS BEEN FRIED TO OVERHEAT AND I BOUGHT A USED ONE FROM CHINA. AFTER I REPLACED IT THE LAPTOP WOULDN'T START AND WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO REPAIR DVD HE OR EVEN THE USE OF RECOVERY. I CALLED HP SUPPORT, I EVEN JOINED THE HP FORUM TO ASK FOR HELP AND I GOT ONE EXPERT WAS USUALLY TRY THIS OR TRY THIS. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. FINALLY, I READ AN ARTICLE FROM THE INTERNET THAT EXPLAINED THAT WHEN YOU CHANG THE MOTHERBOARD / SYSTEM BY ANOTHER THEN THE BIOS REFERS TO THE NEW PRODUCT NUMBER, MOTHERBOARDS AND/OR THE SERIAL NUMBER AND THIS WAY THERE IS INCOMPATIBILITY WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW WINDOWS TO START, YOU CAN NOT REPAIR WITH SYSTEM REPAIR DISC OR IT DOES NOT PERFORM A CLEAN WINDOWS INSTALLATION OR A RECOVERY CD/DVD RECOVERY. ONCE YOU TATOO THE BIOS THATS IT. THE LAPTOP WORKS. I HOPE THAT THIS MESSAGE WILL HELP SOME PEOPLE WAISTING THERE TIME AND SPEND THE MONEY FOR NOTHING
  • Windows Vista does not start after the beginning upward
    My computer won't start Windows Vista after startup, I tried startup repair and it gave me a screen type scrambled at the end.  When I let him start normally I get a black screen and when I do the Startup Repair I get every time the same garbled screen. I tried to reinstall Windows Vista, but when I put the disc in my pc it did nothing. How can I reinstall the operating system?
    Hello
    Startup Repair might not have worked however the SFC, CheckDisk system restore and then even a new attempt of
    Startup Repair might work.
    Try the repair to start the Recovery Console (if you have a) or from a disk of Vista - if you have not a
    Disk of Vista, you can borrow a friends (they are not protected against copying) or make a. The manufacturer of your system will also
    sell cheap physical disks since you already own Windows.
    Try Options recovery or a disk of Vista startup repair.
    How to do a startup repair
    Also from the command PROMPT on the Console (if possible) recovery or a Vista disk
    SFC/scannow
    Press enter
    and after that runs away
    Chkdsk /f /r
    Press enter
    (Spaces between C and / k and / and f and /)
    Retry After Chkdsk startup repair.
    If after those try you system restore from the recovery or Vista disc.
    Retry if necessary startup repair.
    =================================================
    To re - install:
    Check with your system manufacturer that they all slightly different methods. They may have included a recovery
    Partition or other methods to restore the default value. Also your system manufacturer will sell you the physical disks at a great price
    Since you already own windows.
