Windows 8 left corner Hotspot

I'm unable to trigger the task switch when my mouse in the upper left corner of the screen in a hover. Lower left, but also high to right work as they are supposed to. I've seen others report this problem, but so far no clear solution. Would appreciate any thoughts. In case it is important, I upgraded to Windows 7. Thank you.

You slide right on the upper right corner and on 'Search' prompt, type General and then click settings under Apps, click General on the left side and then on the right you can seeApp Switching. You can enable the "allow to toggle between recent apps" and "when I drag frpm left edge..." by dragging to the right...

Is this useful... ? .. Just click on "Me Too".

  • Windows 8 mouse jumps randomly to the upper left corner

This is getting very frustrating. Mouse jumps randomly from any window I'm working in the top left corner of the screen. Example just typing this, it climbs to the upper left and I have to keep clicking back.

It happens when the mouse/keyboard connected or not, tried to disable the touchpad.

I even did a clean boot, but problem is, so do not think that there is a software conflict. It makes use of the very difficult computer.

  • Windows 8 when I move my mouse in the lower left corner of the upper part of the Bureau of navigation for the start page icon is not displayed

Windows 8 does someone knows how to get the icon to navigate to the start page?  When I move my mouse in the lower left of the Office start page navigation icon does not appear.  All of a sudden it stopped working.

    Hello

May I ask if clicking on the lower left corner always takes you back to the menu back? Or is that the disabled also?
You might want to try this:
    1. Press the Windows key, then type "cmd", right mouse click on command prompt, then click "Run as Administrator". If you are prompted by user account control, just accept.
    2. At the command prompt with admin, type privileges window ' sfc/scannow ' or ' sfc/scannow ' also works. And then press enter.
    3. Wait a few moments so he can analyze the system files, you may need to restart then.

Please let me know if it works. I hope this has helped.

  • Lower left corner of Windows 8 is unable to right click

One of my computers in domain are now using windows 8 and he has this bizarre situation
I logged in using my domain account, and somehow I can't right click on the lower left corner, where it should come out a few menus like Run, Control Panel, etc.

. Only local accounts are able to right click on the lower left corner. Now I'm curious to know about it and can not find an answer to the internet (or), any solution?

Oh, and he repeats to me I am connected using a temporary account, but if I use the account in windows 7 (different computer), it works fine. Both the account also works very well under windows XP. Is it true that I can not use the full functionality of windows 8 (including the lower left right click) when I logged in using the temporary account?

Another weird condition, I found in HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/ProfileList somehow the only administrator account has its preserved touch. Other account get wiped immediately after it disconnects (I wonder if it is because it is recognized as a temporary account? but on windows 7 even if it is a temporary account, the registry will keep the key). This also happen in C:/Users of the temporary accounts in windows 7 it will get stored profile, but in windows 8, they will remove it.

    Hi Kioels,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you are unable to do a right click on the lower left corner when you are logged in using the domain user account and you can right click if you connect using the Local user account.

  • Windows 8 - in the top left corner is no longer showing open Metro style apps

I noticed recently - I have not seen of Windows installed on this computer (only Windows 8 Pro) 8.1 and I say this because I know there is a setting to disable this point 8.1, but for some reason any, it seems that the upper left hot no longer works. I can open Metro style apps, but when I switch to the start screen or desktop, these applications do not appear when I put my mouse in the upper left corner.

Opening my task manager shows that they are still there and 'open', but I can access it quickly from the top left corner of warm. Instead, I click on the shortcut on the start menu, or "switch to" in the Task Manager.

Anyone see this before and know how to fix?

    Thank you

    E. Sylvain

EDIT: If it makes a difference, I have 8.1 installed on another machine of mine, but I do not have this setting disabled anyway. I can have extinguished it at a good time - so I was wondering if the auto-sync parameters into account maybe pushed this setting on this computer as well (if that is possible by mistake) and then not reversed after that I changed it back?

I know there is a setting to disable this point 8.1

I think it was in Win8 too.   And it's easier to find in it.   Evidence that it was in effect would be that Win + Tab would not show the application Switcher even though there is to switch to other applications.   Win - W G (or how ever many General you must type) gets you there IIRC.   For example, you can disable the other but not the first if you want to see the App Switcher.

BTW I now found it in W8.1 under the corners & edges, but there is no shots of Win - W for App Switcher, that would be my first guess.  The description can be a little more clear than in W8.  For example now that they can be distinguish allowing switching (although WTH did reject it average?) and drag from left to right.  This kind of thing is always the last to be changed when a new version is created.

  • Horizon view Agent 6.0.2 Windows 8.1 desktop - size setting display scale causes mouse which will be pasted in the top left corner

    Hello

I am having some problems when I try to adjust the size to the scale option in the Virtual Office Windows 8.1 with view agent 6.0.2. When I try to change the scale via Control Panel -> display -> option to change the size of all the items ( view failover control settings is disabled by VMware KB: Settings tab is not available in the display panel of a Horizon view desktop locally when t...). After that, the mouse pointer gets suddenly blocked until the upper-left corner, and I'm unable to move the mouse pointer on this corner that the mouse pointer continues new jump in him. When I change the scale to the original (use the keyboard to change the setting), the behavior of mouse pointer returns to normal.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Found the solution by adding a registry entry:

    Location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Teradici\PCoIP\pcoip_admin_defaults

    Name: pcoip.disable_cursor_jumping

    Type: REG_DWORD

    Data: 1

After that it is defined on the parent image and recomposed (or reboot if you want to set this on a persistent desktop computer), there is no more mouse pointer jumps after changing the scale of the fonts/AC.

This was indeed listed in KB here — not exactly the problem listed in the KB, but it is quite similar:

    Hey all,.

Forgive me if this is a redundant question, but in CS5 (7.0.4 and earlier versions), there was a small window of useful magnification in the lower left of the document window. Is there a way to do this turn on? I have used it since at least CS3 and I seem to be lost without it.

    Hello

Control Panel - mouse, TouchPad controls are there and you may also have a TouchPad icon in the
Taskbar near the clock in the bottom right. Also there are probably shortcut keys that can affect the TouchPad so
see the Forums and the Support from the manufacturer of your system.

The sensitivity of the TouchPad, special areas or any function of the snap and other parameters can play a role.

    I hope this helps.
