Windows 8 lenovo bookno net dvd rom won't start windows, still trying to repair disk errors

, I like the oem license is stored in the bios, how can reinstall windows with disc or usb

Hi all the success possible,

After finding that windows 8 is wired in the Bios and that the media is now the manufacturer I dug in the Lenovo Web site.

The computer shop I took it to could not diagnose the cause of the other that a defective hard drive old 2 years priming scrap the laptop and waive the fees of consultants £25.00.

Fortunately, I refused, released and after that audit on the lenovo Web site found that the option of repair on the lenovo is wired with a hidden in the drive partition.

So with a simple turn on and outside while pressing the small 15-minute Windows 8.1 reset button has been restored and is now currently update itself to windows 10.

    Hi NoOneSpeciale,

It is very possible that your CD may be damaged.  Is it possible to get another copy to try on your machine? Or try this copy on another machine to see if it works or not.
Also check in control panel--> system--> for you Device Manager make sure that there is no yellow/red icon next to the CD player and it's function correctly.

  • DVD Rom won't recognize there is a disc in the drive

My uncle gave me his old computer for Christmas. Before it was given to me it was sent for a tech restore the computer to factory setting. I think that they wrote zeros to the hard drive and started it completely.

I used a few weeks after I had put the computer because I had installed something that did not work, System Restore. I had not won it first, but always ended up doing a system retore to when the computer is first restarted.

Now my DVD Rom will not notice when a disc is in.  Him sometimes turns on, but the computer does not appear there in a disk. I looked in my computer and the CD drive is listed as empty.  Even when I try to play a DVD. The drive appears in the list player however.

  • Pictures on a new iMac won't start - he's trying to fix the photo library after the migration of my old iMac.  The two are running El Capitan

Photos on my new iMac won't start - get an error message after trying to fix the photo library.  I just migrated all of my old iMac a new aid of Time machine backup.  Both are running OS 10.11 (El Capitan).

Get an error message after trying to fix the photo library.

What does this error message say?  Photos crash or exit gracefully?

Where your iPhoto library that Library stored? In your pictures folder, or on an external drive?

Try to copy the library of Photos directly without Time Machine. Connect the two Macs using your network and copy the old Mac to the new library, well as signed in on your new Mac.

Then try to open this copy in Photos.

  • CD/DVD-ROM won't play CD in Vista

When I got to my computer it played CDs and DVDs now it play only dvd. How can I get the game cd is there a program that could have been deleted. CD will not play

    * original title - cd will not play *.

Optical drives like yours have two lasers in them; one for CDs and a DVD. inability to play one or other media usually mean that particular laser is dead and it's time to replace the drive. It's not terribly expensive and very easy to do. You can try a disc cleaner (office/computer supplies store), but probably the reader will simply be replaced. • Satellite P200 - 1FC: CD/DVD player won't start - error Code 10

My Satellite P200 - 1FC was purchased in January 2008 and preloaded with Vista Home Premium. The DVD/CD drive is listed in the device as "TSST corp CDDVDW TS - L632H ATA Device" Manager.

Initially, the drive worked perfectly, but recently refused to start. Device Manager it shows now with a yellow exclamation point and its status is given as "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ».

By clicking on 'could not load driver software' product solutions but not solution.

The search for similar issues in the forums of users suggests that use of a page of Microsoft Support Help & directed "the CD-ROM drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that you upgraded to Windows Vista".

However it is to change the registry! As a relative novice, I am reluctant to do unless I can find no easier way.

Should I bite the bullet and and enter into this minefield, or is there a better way?

    > At first the car worked perfectly, but recently refused to start. Device Manager it shows now with a yellow exclamation point and its status is given as "this device cannot start. (Code 10) ».

Certainly, this error is caused by an incorrect registry entry.
I had this error several times and I solved this disassembly of these registry keys upper and lower filters:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

    Here are a few steps how it worked on my Windows system;
-J' removed the Device Manager CD/DVD drive
-Then edited the registry as described above
    -Restarting the laptop

I'm sure that this will also help you.

Delete the corrupted registry entries could cause problems with another CD or DVD writing or recording of programs that are installed on your computer. Uninstall these programs before you start you will help avoid any problems that may remove registry entries. You can reinstall these programs once the problem is resolved.

This method provides detailed instructions about how to use the registry editor to delete the following corrupt registry entries:

    • UpperFilters
    • LowerFilters

Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.

Step 1: Open the registry editor

    • Click the Start orb, type regedit in the Search box and press enter if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue

    5. In the details pane of the registry editor, on the right, click UpperFilters.

Note You can also see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You don't have to delete this entry. Click UpperFilters.

      • If you see the UpperFilters registry entry in the details pane of the registry editor, go to step 6.
      • If you do not see the UpperFilters registry entry, you may still have to delete the LowerFilters registry entry. To do this, go to "step 3: delete the LowerFilters registry entry.»
    6. On the Edit menu, click on delete.
    7. Click Yes when you receive the following message is displayed:
Are you sure you want to delete this value?

The UpperFilters registry entry is removed. Step 3: Delete the LowerFilters registry entry

    1. In the details pane of the registry editor, on the right, click LowerFilters.

DISM is for Win 7 and later versions. You have in fact no problem. All of them are false positives. A caused by stupidity in design (check parameter files THAT EXCHANGE MUST to save the settings, even as detect corrupted when they do) and the other caused by a component having two sources (unusually) and only one source updated (so the other source believes that the new file must be corrupted).

My two readers of DVD - ROM have stopped start automatic on both drives to install program and records of music & video.  I tried to change the registry by a patch of Microsoft article, but the problem is still there.  Another program I have installed in the past may have somehow missed upward.  I suspect that the reinstallation of Windows SP3 may solve the problem.  However, because SP3 came out years ago, we have a LOT of Windows security updates.  My question is this.  Could adversely affect anything on my system to try simply re-run the exe to install SP3 which I just downloaded from Microsoft?  If this seems a feasible idea, I'd lose all these dozens and dozens of Windows security updates that I downloaded via Windows update since two years ago first SP3 installed, or if it is not serious?

    Hello

You will not be able to reinstall SP3, unless uninstall you it. Re-install it will not be very useful, you can try running sfc (click Start-> Run Type & -> sfc / scannow-> ok) it will take your XP disc.

You can try to turn autorun by: open my computer-> right click CD/DVD Drive-> Autorun. You can also try the method of register on the Microsoft Web site: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330135

    I hope this helps.
