Windows Activation error 7: an error has occurred; Access is denied. ; 0x80070005
I recently had a weird problem with my Dell Inspiron 1525 under Windows 7 Home Premium. (Which is here: http://bit.ly/rwzCt6). In any case it was resolved to boot from the Windows 7 Edition installation disc Home Premium and do a system restore. When I logged on I was so happy that I wasn't getting the famous black screen with cursor. But now my background is black and bottom right, he says:
Hmm - what is the error with Development?
The Norton Removal Tool is here...
(I have problems accessing for the moment)
do not worry about the error of wshext.dll - it is not relevant, in my opinion.
Restart, and run another MGADiag - he'll tell us if the re-recordings had no effect.

Activating Windows indicates that an error has occurred
Last night I had an open window that told me there was an error activating windows and that my version of windows was not valid. When I try and open the Windows Activation it tells me an error has occurred. Code: 0 x 80070424.
I use the windows which was preinstalled on the computer. BUT, I ended up having to purchase backup discs from Toshiba and the service center he relocated to me. Not sure if there is a problem or if it is internal.
Help, please.
Thank you
Will be.
Hi Will,
And what you say now? If I understand the computer is now reinstalled with Toshiba recovery disc, so all is ok now or you always have problems?
The version preinstalled Windows from Toshiba is still active and read to use so that I can t imagine you must activate your copy of Windows if it was preinstalled on Toshiba drive or recovery

I am also having this problem.
I built a new PC and installed Farcry 4 on a cleaning/charge of windows installation. He has not previously installed directx. Installing Farcry 4 mentioned that he was installing directx, however it was very short and im not sure if that actually worked. Anyway, when you try to run the game I got an error on D3DCompiler.DLL having disappeared. Research it's turned out to be a directx error.
All attempts to update directx (in administrator mode) both using the web Setup program, download files locally, on the album, every single method directx Setup fails with the return to "internal an error" has occurred and to return to the running log file. mine is similar to the above, and it seems that (even when you use the web installer) log file looking for the CD, however, the issue appears to lie with this being "mapped using session" open, please refer to the newspaper below. Please help us?

An internal error has occurred in Windows Media Player
I write on behalf of a client who has a few problems with Windows Media Player in Windows XP.
She said that she receives the error message "an internal application error has occurred" all the time. He will not play CD and does not even start.
She wonders if she needs to unintall/reinstall. However, she received another message saying something like its other programs may not work correctly.
Just to confirm yet for her, she would not lose all other programs in the cases where she unisntalls Windows Media Player, right?
Thank you!
Thank you.

Where to find information on the album in Media Player, I get the following message appears when I click on the button "Finish":
An error has occurred on this page of scriptOnline: 303Tank: 25Error: the value of the property 'btnfinish_onclick' is null or undefined, not a function objectCode: 0URL: HTTP://FAI.MUSIC.METASERVICES.MICROSOFT.COM/FAI/ALBUMMATCH.ASPX?LOCALE=409&GEOID=F4&VERSION=11.0.6002.18311&USERLOCALE=409Do you want to continue?By clicking 'Yes' or 'No' doesn't produce any action. Does 'Cancel' which is there for that. This feature works flawlessly for months and now I can't download the album or graphics information.Help, please. Thank you
original title: Windows Media Player Script errorI solved this on my machine after a few game.
When you arrive at the last stage of the search for album information, before you click on finish, click the small globe in the upper left corner of the dialog box. This refreshes the connection to the server. Click on finish, then it started working again.
Refresh a couple of times before that it worked but so far 2 of 2 machines working again on my other maching.
Hope this helps!
Thank you thank you. Sometimes, it takes "Refresh" several times but finally the player "seems" to calm down.

I assume you are using Windows Live Mail as you customer, NOT Windows Mail e-mail because Windows Mail does not support hot mail.
Open your e-mail program > tools > account > your hotmail account > properties > advanced. Under outgoing mail SMTP,.
Change SMTP port # to 587 NO 25 > click OK.
In addition, go back to the properties > servers. Make sre you checked on "my server requires authentication" > OKt-4-2

I'm restarting SQL server, what I used to do via the following command line:
net stop mssqlserver
net start mssqlserverHowever, I am on a new Windows 7 machine and I get the following error when I try:
net start mssqlserver
System 5 error has occurred.Access is denied.
My account is a member of the administrator group, and I can restart normally through the Services Control Panel. I have tried to turn the UAC settings all the way down, but still this message.
(This also fails if I try to use PowerShell.)
What should I do to be able to restart the services via the command line?
Thank you
-PeterI had exactly the same problem:
1. new installation of windows 72. net start MSSQLSERVER fails with "Access denied" from the command window, but works at the start of Service Control Manager3. connected as a user of Directors of the Group - same account used for the automatic start4. I tried the above steps to register. They do not work.5. I tried to settle my UAC account at the lowest possible level, as recommended in another forum. It also did not work.I was amazed by the number of desperate people with similar problems - and apparently some resolutions there. I've used Windows 3.1, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP a few years back and then switch to Mac OS X and Linux. Now, I'm hard to get used to this kind of problem again, (sigh) Windows. In any case, one of my colleagues just came and gave me an easy solution. He said that the problem is that your user 'administrator' is not ' administrator enough "-go figure. In fact, being in the Administrators group is not the same as being THE administrator account.1. create a shortcut to 'cmd.exe' on your desktop.2. click right on the shortcut and select "run as Administrator".3. in the command window that opens, "net start MSSQLSERVER" worksGood. So now I can go on this restart-SQL-Server-when-it-decides-to-die script for our customer site. Another sad story of Microsoft...
