Windows DVD burner stopped working

whenever I try to burn a DVD with windows DVD burner I get a message saying a problem caused windows DVD burner to stop working, when we find a solution I will be notified, well it lasts for a year now, I even wiped my laptop and re-installed windows and I was able to burn 1 DVD until I started getting the same message Although I am sick this, and when I try to get technical support, I wonder how is interesting to me. WTF?  I wonder that Apple makes their customers in the same way, from what my friends me with MACs, if not why say they operate. Then said is I don't van not get help to solve this problem, I'll become another conversion from Apple...  It has been a year and still no solution? Come on.

  • Windows Explorer has stopped working error

    Yesterday, I tried to install a program on my computer that is running windows vista after that the computer has stopped working.  It starts go to the home screen and then the screen turns black with a white cursor you can move.  I can start the Task Manager and the cmd mode.  I can boot into safe mode only until I get the message windows explore has stopped working a problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

    I tried to boot to the last known good configuration, but that did not work.  I think that the program has put the memory on the Board, but I'm still not a person of intermediate knowledge on this topic.  We didn't backup our files and of course need them.  Thank you

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
  • Win 7 error "Windows Explorer has stopped working"
    Using Win 7 Home Premium, I get a pretty consistent message "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and the auto check routine does not come to the top with a solution.  I know for sure I can do it almost everytime with a right click on the Recycle Bin (I'm trying to empty).  My security program is Microsoft Security Essentials.
    None of the positions worked for me. However, I could use the logger and hunt down later.
    Here's how: go to the beginning
    where it says, "computer", right click and select 'manage '.
    under System Tools, select "Observer of events," look under "type of event" and find errors.
    Scan down the list - make sure that the window is quite large, so you can see the errors in the last day (or maybe it's time).
    When I did, I found many errors about "windows Explorer." When you click on one, it opens a box with details. All the ones I checked had the same details, more or less.
    Most of the details seemed incomprehensible, but, in my case, a particular .dll kept being mentioned, file called AFLDLL. DLL.
    what he said was: the name of the failing module: AFLDLL. Unloaded DLL or something to that effect
    So, I went to start, search and put in AFLDLL. DLL and I was able to determine it related to a program for iomega dvd writer cd burning.
    When I uninstalled this program from the Control Panel, add remove programs, the problem stopped.
    Maybe the causes are different for different people. but at least it will give you an idea.
    Maybe you can find some information on what is involved in your mistakes of "windows explorer".
    I think that norton or mcafee may have been preinstalled as trial versions, but I've never actually used them. Unfortunately I can't use the windows Explorer, so I can't check if they are still there.
    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).
    3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all software (including LiveUpdate and Add-ons of Norton) Norton through Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view)
    IMPORTANT! => Activate the Windows Firewall immediately after the restart.
    IMPORTANT! => Now you're "working without a net": no to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation, reading e-mail, chat) until you have completed the steps #4, #5 and #6 below!
    4. right click on one of the files that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.
    5. Repeat step #4 for another removal tool.
    Tips:
    -Online use another computer to download the removal tool, if necessary, then transfer it to the computer via CD, DVD, or a USB brand new, never been used (flash drive), or a summer freshly updated in shape.
    -Online start the problem in Mode safe computer, if necessary, proceed as above.
    -Online after completing all of the above, uninstall AVG Free & reboot. Now do a new installation of AVG Free 9.0, this time select the CUSTOM installation option and do NOT install (uncheck) Linkscanner Search-Shield, Active Surf-Shield, security or the email of crawl components toolbar.
    Hello everyone, a few days my computer began to behave strangely. A few seconds after that, the entire desktop up-to-date and another window poped by displaying "Windows Explorer restarts... ».
However, I then found the original source of microsoft where you got this info from, and they mention here on a corrupted video driver as a source as possible. That was the problem in my case: radeon tried to update earlier this week, but I was in a hurry and it did not properly. I tried again and it worked now!
  • "Windows Explorer has stopped working" if I open Control Panel
    Guys, could someone help me please?
    When I open the Control Panel, it says "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and then it restarts Windows Explorer. When I right click on any folder it says "recording of the UI language is not valid" 5 times and for a split second, it says "Corrupted registry" then it works. But I am unable to use the control panel.
    I have Windows Vista home premium and Norton Antivirus.
    Can someone help me please?
    Hello
    The error message says something about corrupt registry.
    So, it seems that this issue would be related to incorrect or damaged registry entries.
    If the registry is damaged, your operating system will not work as it should and can feel such or similar problems.
    I m using the CCLeaner to clean the registry and other system files.
    It s a free tool and you should try it.
    If this does not work and if you notice the same question so I would recommend reinstalling the OS using the Toshiba recovery disc.
    In most cases this will help you fix this registry
    Hi Phil,
    If your laptop is always report registry errors after having re-installed the operating system from the recovery disc, then it is likely that your hard drive has errors. The Windows XP registry is composed of several files (or urticaria), and the installation process will always be located in the same area of the hard drive.
