Windows genuine problem (0x8004fe21)
I had this copy of Windows 7 for almost 7 months now and never had this problem. He started only gives me this error recently after that I stopped and restarted my computer for an update to Windows. I always get the updates and Windows is defined as being active, I just get these pop-ups from time to time telling me to validate it is authentic. However, the site I'll give me a file that says that windows is not a Win32 application invalid. I thought it was a virus or malware, but nothing is captured by my programs and even go on the official site of real validation gives me a file with the same problem. Yet once, it has produced when I booted my computer upward after a WIndows Update December 9 (I think). I Redid the activation, run the OS program to check and even got my code produced and approved it. No change in material or similar. Diagnostic report is below. At this point, I think I might just have to delete some of these updates.

Another Windows Genuine problem
After the update that took place Wednesday morning for me, since I got the notification that my copy of windows 7 is not genuine. I've had this version for 2 years now and it activated when I installed 2 years ago. I am running windows 7 update of XP. I downloaded and ran the program offered on another thread, and here is the result:

Does not work Windows genuine' with a 0x8004fe21 error code
Separated from this thread.
Gerry, I have the same problem described by Joachim and rvc2. It began with me after KB3004394 has been installed on 10 December. KB3024777 has been installed on 13 December, but I still get the pop up saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows" with an 0x8004fe21 error code.
Updates appear in the history of update of review, but do not appear in the installed updates.
I also have a Dell machine and this is certainly a legitimate copy of Windows 7 (64-bit SP1) with the product code for Windows under the battery cover.
Any solution yet?
Kind regards
DermoHold off for now if you are not currently having this problem.

0x8004FE21 error 'not genuine' on a pc windows genuine
I've had my computer for a while now, I think about 1 and a half to 2 years. My computer is windows genuine, and then I started having these errors. I tried clicking on the "pay online now", but it never seemed to work. I left 'solve online' for 15 minutes and vain. I even Redid the validation by telephone that he did not. Help, please.
Thank you

It would be great now if you reinstall your operating system
Each operating system needs an occasional repair work, and Windows 7 is no exception. If the source of the problem is corrupt data, a particularly brutal piece of malware or some other serious problem, you sometimes have to reinstall your copy of Windows.
Wiping your hard drive and perform a clean installation can be a huge headache. but fortunately, there is a way to repair a damaged Windows 7 installation while keeping all of your programs, data and user accounts. With Windows 7, you can perform an upgrade installation on-site to repair an existing installation of flaky. Although technically designed to upgrade from older Windows operating systems like Vista, the installation of on-site upgrade option can also be used to repair an existing installation of Windows 7.
Installation of upgrade in place involves several steps, starting by copying the installation files to the disk of destination and collecting settings and existing files.
Note that you must run the upgrade on Windows site; If your PC can not fully boot on the Windows desktop, this repair guide is not for you. A few other limits come later in the article, so be sure to carefully read the entire guide before attempting to repair your damaged copy of Windows 7. Run a repair installation should be your last resort, and you should consider only if you have already removed spyware from your PC, reinstalled the driversand tried in vain to restore from a previous (working) version of Windows 7 by using System Restore.
Prepare your PC for Windows 7
Before you perform a repair installation, you must take some precautionary measures to ensure that the process goes smoothly. The first step is to backup all of your critical files to an external storage device. Although the repair process is unlikely to fail or to one of your folders make sunk, it's always a good idea to back up your data.
Once you have saved important data from your system, we recommend that you uninstall all third-party security software such as antivirus applications or firewall. You can always reinstall them after completing the repair process; but since you'll be initiating this process of Windows, you need to delete security applications that actively scan files. You must also download and store all the drivers your system should function - especially the network controller, which indicates to your network adapter how to access Internet.
After you back up all your drivers, clean all temporary files and useless data accumulated during use extended in Windows 7. To do this, click the Start button, and in the search field, type Folder Options; and then press enter. In the Folder Options window, click the view tab and select Show hidden files folders and drives; and then click OK.
Then, run a disk cleanup open the start menu and select computer. Click on your primary drive (the default C: drive) and open the Properties menu. Select the Disk Cleanup utility in the lower right of the menu and select clean up system files. The disk cleanup utility should take a few moments to rescan the drive. Then, click the Other Options tab and select clean up in the section "system restore and shadow copies" at the bottom of the menu. In the dialog box that appears, click the Remove button. then navigate to the Disk Cleanup tab, check that all items in the files to delete list are checked and click OK. The disk cleanup utility should erase the system obsolete, temporary and other data files digital detritus. Depending on the amount of useless data on your drive, this step can last from a few seconds to a few minutes.
After you run the disk cleanup utility, you must manually clean a few records. Reopen the C: drive, and then double-click the Windows folder. Scroll through the list of folders and delete all the files in the Prefetch and Temp folders. Be sure to remove only the files within these two folders and not the files themselves. Then navigate back to the C: drive and double-click the users folder. In the users folder, double-click first your particular username folder then the AppData folder (if you do not see the AppData folder, you shouldn't have selected "Show hidden files, folders and drives" above), the Local folder and finally the Temp folder. This deletes all files in the Temp folder; Then restart your system.

Windows Genuine Advantage problem, says this is not the correct version
I am trying to download windows DVD maker or windows 7, but I came across some very irritating errors and I am very angry and annoyed.
The first problem is, the "Windows Genuine Advantage tool" said that it is not the correct version, even though it has been downloaded from the microsoft Web site, photo of the error is here: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/818/wgaerror.png/My data from the computer (operating system, etc.): http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/688/pcinfoc.png/I also ran the "Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool', here are the results: http://www.mediafire.com/?99vwm612pmvvkmdThe second problem is, I tried to run the "Windows Genuine Advantage tool' through control ActiveX in Internet Explorer 9, but after I clicked to install the"Windows Genuine Advantage tool', nothing happened. Thanks for posting a solution as soon as POSSIBLEYou MUST use Internet Explorer for any process involving the Validation.
You'll be rewuired first to install an ActiveX control, and in the case of wof Windows 7, Windows Activation Technologies update (if not already installed).
Once they are properly installed, then the system should automatically refresh the page, and the continue button should implement a download button.
Note that the use of some security software or settings may mean that the serveer is unable to work that your operating system and the browser is really - with the results that it tries to treat IE9 on Win7 as FireFox on XP - with the results you see.

Lenovo T420 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - Windows Genuine validation failure
I have directly from Lenovo Lenovo T420 bought end of 2011 which began recently to show the message that its not running Genuine Windows. He fails to pass the validation test. He also stopped treatment of the Windows updates since December 15, 2014. All fail with the error 800706F7. I don't know if that is related to the failure of the validation. I would like to get the Windows validation problem all solved first guess that they may be related. Is attached a copy of the report full diag. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Update: called Microsoft validation and validation of phone attempt to id software. Has been informed by the agent that the product ID has been blocked by Lenovo. Suggested I upgrade Windows, purchase a new license or call Lenovo. Release with support from Lenovo and told me that they have no way to block a product code. Suggested I try an upgrade of BIOS or reload the operating system. Have you the BIOS upgrade result has not changed. Also updated the driver Intel Rapid Storage, but again no change on the system. Read messages where that fixed similar symptoms). Latest report of diag is the same as that posted here. Operation of the system with the exception of the issue with the message on non-genuine software and updates of Windows does not not error code 800706F7. Looking for more information.
Update: 2/29/2015 KB3004394 was not as installed on this system. I ran a system scan and it shows the following missing components. There are several entries in the CBS for the latter. I have included only the first two entries in the newspaper here.

Too bad the updated Microsoft corrupted the system. System is operating normally and is more pointed out the error of "Genuine Windows" and updates are being processed. KB3004394 is not installed.

Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft Community forum.
According to the description of the problem, you can not install Windows updates and get a non-genuine mistake. As you have mentioned that this whole issue started since 15 December, so there might be a chance that some updates to move that could cause the problem.
The KB 3004394 which was dated December 10, 2014 update can cause additional problems on computers that run Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. This includes the inability to install future updates. This new update is available to remove KB 3004394 from your computer. Thus, there could be a chance that this update is installed on your computer that is causing the problem.
According to my research and findings that I got to know only after you have installed the Microsoft KB3004394 update that was released on December 10, 2014 and Microsoft has disabled since the relevant updates. Some systems also provided a Windows is "not authentic" error caused by the same update.
So try to remove this update of the updates installed, if it is installed and hide so that it can be installed in the future of its own. You can check the link below to complete the task.
You can see the below mentioned steps to hide an update.
Click on start.
Now click on all programs.
And then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.
Now, click on custom.
Click to clear the check box next to the update KB3004394 .
Expand the KB3004394 update you want to hide, and then click the checkbox "don't show me this update again".
Click review and install updates.
For more information please refer to the suggestion of José Antonio answered the February 10, 2012.
Additional information:
You can see the thread mentioned below for details on the error message and the resolution.
Get the error code Windows Update 800706f7
Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
Kind regards

This computer is not running Windows genuine - help please
I use a HP Pavilion 6675, I've had for a few years - it has been pre-installed with Windows 7 Home. Now I get a pop-up message of Windows Activation Technologies by saying that this computer is not running genuine windows. If I click on the link to solve online now, he takes me to a page that whirles around for a certain time and then trying to make me buy Windows genuine (which I already have!). It seems because of this problem, I am currently not able to install updates for Windows. At rang HP support, they want me re - set the computer to factory settings - seems too drastic for me. Surely, there must be a simpler solution? I saw the diagnostic tool mentioned on a couple of other threads, so I ran it. Here are the results. If anyone can help, I'd be really grateful.

How can we use this page Windows Genuine?
How can we use this page once the developers of Firefox has removed the option "Enable Java"?
Now, I downloaded this tool to check if the Windows Genuine or not! But kept getting the error message during the installation of the application.
This is not sound/look like a problem of firefox at all, but could be a problem with the integrity of your windows system (perhaps related to malicious software): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2617842/en-us

Obsolete Windows Genuine Advantage on the MS Site
When trying to update Windows Media Player 11 on the MS site, I wonder to validate my version of Windows XP using the Windows Genuine Advantage that comes back and tells me that the tool itself is outdated. I then go hunt down the latest version of the Windows Genuine Advantage tool and download it on the spot. I try validation again, but he seeks only on the MS downloads version itself which of course, is outdated to me in an endless loop. Not quite as definitely infinite that the MS Online Chat, but nevertheless, I always have Media Player 11 on my PC.
Please understand this is a problem with not getting to the point of validation of my store bought, legitimate and previously posted a version of Windows XP (with updates to date) - this is the Windows Genuine Advantage, which is obsolete.

I recently bought a copy of Windows XP Professional. I installed and activated Windows XP while I had an Internet connection. This went well. I then download Microsoft Security Essentials, who then informed me that my copy of Windows is maybe not authentic. Confused, I downloaded the WGA tool, who confirmed that my Windows XP was not authentic.
The Microsoft product activation call and reading my product to a CSR key, he confirmed that the key was official and I have to contact Technical Support. But Tech Support costs a bit of money, and I'm only 15 years to be honest (Yes, I have a bit of technical knowledge). My question is this: is it possible that I can make genuine Windows? This problem is getting boring now. I tried to reinstall Windows XP and re - enter the product key (I tried an online activation and a phone). Thanks in advance.Hello
I suggest you to see link below and check if it helps.

I recently downloaded windows xp and he tells me is not passed windows genuine. How can I spend without having to buy it again?
It is likely that if you have downloaded XP a purchase, that it's a forgery, because MS has not sold XP Download drink for years.
As says Carey - we need to check it out...
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, pleasePlease also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case with your machine, but do NOT quote the key on the sticker!

My brother-in-law gave me his laptop Dell Latitude D610 to work on. It was loaded with virus and almost completely non-functional. I installed an old windows XP Home Edition SP1 upgrade disk (I had to insert my plu too Windows 98 disc) on it because I had no original disks supplied with the computer. I am therefore perfectly legal with that. I installed it and I activated it until I went through updates. When I finished updates of service pack to download SP2 to the execution of the method to update to SP3. I tried to install Microsoft Security Essentials however it would not load and said I had to VALIDATE windows. I already got it activated prior to all other updates. How can I fix it? When I try to validate windows all I see is a white screen, so I can't go any further! So basically I have 2 problems I need to validate (the computer says that Windows is already activated when I click on the button "Activate Windows"). And I get the white screen when I try to validate... Please help I know it's legal software, just old.
