Windows Installer costs without disc?
A couple of years ago, I received a (pre-built) computer of PCWorld and as of late I had some fairly large problems involving viruses because of the Oracle publishes a java patched version is riddled with security flaws even more before the patch that they corrected... and now I have the famous zeroaccess rootkit (and not on this computer). The computer being pre-built they failed with windows disk you can do fresh installs unless it was made to measure. I don't see why I should folk £100 + for a new windows disk when I updated to Windows every time there's an update and I have a bit of protection best firewall/AV (2 anti-virus + malwarebytes.
Don't see how it's fair for me to pay for something when I did everything in my power to protect me even Windows is a virus magnet, do you think I should be forced to pay £100 + when I've already spent £800 on the computer + £120 on my AV protection still Windows decides to always get infected because these updates that are apparently meant to make you more more sure infact done the opposite.
Hello
When a company sells you a new computer, they must provide you with a way to reinstall the operating system, either through a recovery Partition, or providing you with a recovery disc to buy time.
Contact PC World and demand media re-systems
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

Windows installation 8 without cd/dvd drive
I'm trying to find out how we installed windows8 on my hp laptop without cd disc? Can someone help me
Windows 8.0 versions are all updates except the OEM (System Builder and all require a previous version of Windows to be installed at installation time.) OEM version is the only exception and can be purchased online at several retailers, such as for example New EGG or Amazon. Hope this helps and if you need any additional aid station and we will be happy to help you.

Why force Windows Installer updates without my consent?
* Bought a new computer, the other day. [Windows Home 7]
* Set Windows Update to "Download updates but let me choose whether to install them".
* When I turned my computer off, Windows began installing more than 50 updates automatically without my consent.
I never had a message about the update ready to be installed. So clearly, I never said Windows to install updates. Why Windows force install Windows updates without my consent to the judgment?
I've only visited a Web site, and it's a website that I trust. Would he still could be a Virus?
If it's a Virus, restoring my system to factory Conditions removes the Virus? [By using the option available on my computer. Do not use a Windows CD. ]
[1].. .a Norton free trial came with the computer (as it does with almost all computers), however, I did not accept the terms. Or fact, I install the program... Since I posted this question, I came back the computer back to factory settings...
[2] FireFox. I use Internet Explorer to download Firefox. I disable access to IE that FireFox is installed
[3] I use CCleaner to scan the registry from time to time. It is not something that happens too often.
Fact: Applications, (Norton and McAfee) are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves.
A1. After you"returned the computer configuration", do you have a uninstall Norton free trialware AND THEN b download/run the Norton removal tool [1] & (c) reboot before installing the suite AVG (or any other antivirus application) AND BEFORE the installation of any Windows updates AND BEFORE you changed your setting again?
A2. Nevertheless, Internet Explorer is part & parcel of your operating system. IE9 works correctly when you choose to use it (after re-enabling access to even)?
A3. Comment: Your misguided use of registry cleaners may be (or may have been) plays a role here. TIP: If you ever think that your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, boosted, point, healed, twisted, fixed, magnified, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-windows-fact-of-life.aspx and draw your own conclusions.

I recommend that you create a system image of each computer by backing up the installations of Windows 7 on an external hard drive. This will allow you to save the penalty to restore in the future in case of failure:

Windows Vista reinstall without disc, but I have a product key
I did a system restore on my computer and I need to reinstall Vista on my computer. I can't locate the disk, but I have the product code. Can someone help me how to get Vista on my computer? I need it as soon as POSSIBLE. The classes are trolling.
Your computer came with Vista recovery (usually on a different filespartition). If so, usually, you can access the Vista reinstall mode byrepeatedly pressing F11 or F12 during startup. Before that, bebe sure to back up all the important files, emails, licensed applications and so on.because this process generally erases your disk delivered-to-factoryState."CGTRLG" wrote in message news: 3ae986d6-92 6-4e36-85cc-a6d52465d023...> I did a system restore on my computer and I need to reinstall Vista on my> computer. Can I do a repair disk for my 10 boot camp windows installation?
I installed boot camp using the boot camp assistant and not from my own installation disc. It is provided in the boot camp assistant. Sometimes I can't start windows and getting a bad_pool_header error. I am asked to insert an ERD. How can I make or get a repair disc? When I open windows and try to make one, I am informed that I can not with this version of windows 10.
There is no repair under OS X disk to repair Windows. You must use your Windows installation for this disc. Or find a Windows program for such a purpose.

You have a hard drive partition to do - but you would need to contact/see the FAQ from the hardware manufacturer (HP, Dell, Gateway, Lenovo, etc) to see if and how.
Otherwise - you might have to order (pay for possibly) the factory restore/recovery of the value of the manufacturer.
If it was built * friend *, you will communicate with them. Ask your media.

HP Psc 1610 all-in-one: Hp psc 1610 without Windows installation
I'm trying to see if my printer will be able to work without the Windows installation disc. I have a HP PSC 1610 all-in-one printer. I'll buy the cable from Sun to hang it to the top, but I can't find the drive mentioned in the installation program. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have a MacBook Air with Windows. Comments would be appreciated for what I can determine if I need to buy a new printer.
Windows 10 has a 1600 integrated printer driver, just us the option to Add a printer in Printers and devices.

How do I start the installation of windows 7 started without back up
How do I start the installation of windows 7 started without back upas I reinstall my windows 7, that the installation process has been abandoned that I forgot to plug in the charger and it now displays "windows installation was not completed. to install windows on this computer, restart the installation "How can I restart the installation..." i havnt made any recoveryBoot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.
You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK
The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.
Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.
You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

My computer will display the BIOS boot screen then do nothing yet, I insert the Windows installation disc and I press F11, 12 > no response, F10 > BIOS Setup. What should I do with it?
Brand: HP
Type: laptopModel No.: Pavilion zt3000512 MB DDR1 RAMThank you very much!Hi Dominic,
Are you able to get into BIOS to make changes?
If so, you can try to reset the default settings of the BIOS and check.
NOTE: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.
You can also try to remove all external usb devices that can be connected to the system and start-up and see if the system boots.

Windows 7 / HP OfficeJet Pro 8600: Installation network without success
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Printer: HP OfficeJet Pro 8600
My goal is to enable the "Scan to Computer" feature of my HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 on Windows 7, which does not find my computer when I try to use since the touchscreen front panel of the printer. The printer connected to my wifi LAN.
In the Setup program on the CD, I chose to NOT to install any software apart from the "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 software basic device", which installs fine. I also choose NOT to install the web services "ePrint" or him allow to connect to the network for updates or share of usage statistics, or none of it.
During Setup, the network "Check" concludes correctly the printer on my local wifi network, but the 'Installing network printer' part next fails still, having for result "Network Installation fails", no other details. The result is the same if I try again with "Real-time Protection" of Microsoft Security Essentials offshore, or with the Windows Firewall off the coast. No other antivirus is running.
The program "HP Scan" immediately fails with the message error "HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 is not found."
Under control panel > "Devices and printers", I see a HP OfficeJet Pro 8600. Windows installs and print with that printer without the CD.
Under control panel > "Device Manager", the printer is NOT listed under "imaging devices".
My Acquisition of Image Windows (WIA) service is running.
Clues?
You try to scan from the PC using the scanner or scan from the printer to the computer?
If it's the latter, then the "Scan to Computer" function must be enabled via software of the printer installed on your PC. Then you should be able to scan directly from your printer.
If this is the first, and then quickly run this tool and tell me what it is:

Let me know and have a great day!

I have Windows Xp pro, my system had a problem and support for software Dell helped me to reapir the operating system since then Windows Installer continues to try to load documentviewer.msi and ask me for a disk. Reading through the forum, I see a suggestion is to try the system restore. I can't do that restore point is when the bone was repaired and if the fault is already there, any suggestions that the problem has repercussions on my printer HP officejet pro8500
If you have installed a printer all-in-one driver software, and then place the drive in
otherwise do step 2:Step 1:
- Place the printer disc in and goto Setup folder and search for documents Viewer folder.
You will find two files under that. Double-click on DocumentViewer.msi and install it. If you click on the right, you will get repair also.
Step 2:
- If you don't have any what disc then goto Control Panel and select Add/Remove programs.
- Remove DocumentViewer entry.
IF that does not work for you try
"Visit this link and download the Microsoft Cleanup utility:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301run and install. Now goto all programs and who
request.
I'm sure you can select DocumentViewer now and press the button Delete.
This will clear DocumentViewer from your computer. "Please rate me upward if you find my post helpful. Thank you!
