Windows Update stuck after refresh.

I've had this laptop for a couple of yours now. A few days ago an error BSOD kernel data Inpage Error message. So I refreshed the laptop as nothing else worked. Of course I had already installed Windows 8.1 before so I had to re install after the update. He said that I had to install updates. Windows Update download so not updated its stuck at 0%. General information

I had a system that works with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It is a platform for development and simulation that encrypted weeks of configuration and installs operational mode. It was installed in 2012 after my old motherboard has been damaged (I had to get a new license... not just).

So, how can I get Windows Update to work again? I lost about 4 days of work thanks to this "upgrade".

Windows Update, stuck to malicious Removal Tool KB890830

When new updates to date is now available on Windows Update today, I selected all the and installed. Everything went well until the malicious removal tool (KB890830). Just stuck there for 20 minutes, so I decided finally hit Cancel and restarted my computer (to apply the updates installed successfully). After windows restarted, the malicious removal tool appeared on the list of Windows Update to update applied successfully, each after he (list of display compatibility IE KB982664) appeared as cancelled.

3. double-click on the file that you saved in #1 above (e.g., windows-kb890830 - v3.10.exe) and run a quick scan. Do not TOUCH the computer until the end of the race (wait at least 30 minutes).

4. assuming that the quick scan under #3 went well, now run a full scan. Yet once, do not TOUCH the computer until the end of the race (may take an hour or more).

[Comment: when you download/run the MSRT tool as part of the installation of updates, analysis will take much longer time (vs. manual execution) that your system a little "tied" by the automatic updates and the entire update process does not complete until after the MSRT tool has run.] In short, be a lot more patient next time.]

5. now open the journal (C:\WINDOWS\Debug\MRT. (TXT) & go downstairs. Highlight the last two 2 inputs (e.g., the results of the scans that you did in #3 & #4 above) & copy it to the Clipboard.

Windows Update stuck on Prepaing to install...

I upgraded my computer to Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 32-bit and after completing the process of leveling I noticed that Windows Update has executed and display 70 + updates, but none had been installed. After you install this update, windows updates is stuck on "check for updates". I reinstalled Windows 7 and the same thing happens again. I tried to uninstall the update, but it does not appear on the list of installed updates, even if it is considered successful in the history of the update. Actually, there are 26 updates successfully in history, including service pack 1, but only 9 in the list of installed updates. Anyone know what is happening here? DM.

Windows Update stuck Win7 64 bit

Research of the Internet and the knowledge base, it is clear that it is a very common problem, but still none of the solutions worked for me.

It is a new installation of Windows 7 64-bit, as well as the drivers for the PC that came on its supplied driver CDROM.

I have an Acer with Vista SP2. It has no boot and auto repair after that I stupidly shut the computer manually during a Windows Update.

10 Windows update fails after download: Code C1900204 or 80200053 (23 failures to date)

I use a desktop computer of homebrew who spent all the prerequisites for Windows 10 and is no longer able to run Windows 10. I tried both the download and install later and update now options and both have the same results. Windows 10 downloads at 100%, then he breaks down and goes to the error codes, see below. I have 8.55 GB free on my disk C: (SSD) the default download folder is configured on a separate drive with 1.8 free to (where my Local and Roaming profile). I have also the same problem rmahmud28 is seen except mine is Windows 7. He is stuck with 'Check updates' and I've already updated the Windows Update Agent. I tried some other stuff, like your FixIt tools, but nothing.

No idea why or how... the problem was solved by itself. Looks like I have left no system check all these 300 updates available for download.

Windows Update, stuck in the preparation of the installation

My installation of Windows 8/64 does not seem to continue to treat the Windows updates.

For days now it constantly displays the "Preparing to install" status without actually doing something...

Also, I don't seem to be able to interrupt this process. When I click on the [cancel installation] button, I get an error message telling me I need administrator privileges to cancel the installation. But Windows 8 provides an option to run applications as Windows Update of the Panel with privileges!

Any help is appreciated.
