Windows xp for 2 computers

I have my windows xp on my current computer and I want to put in place a model for my son to use only for games without internet access.  How can I use windows xp on both computers

You cannot use your XP/driver's license drive to install on 2 computers.

A single license is a single Installation.

You will need to buy another drive XP/Licence either online: newegg, amazon or try to repair your computer local store to buy it.

I am considering buying a new drive of Windows 7 systems for my computer. The description States that it is for installation on a computer refurbished. All comments from people who have bought the disc are positive. The disc has a key of unused product and is priced less than $90. Is there anything that I should be suspicious of? What is a refurbished computer? It will install n a new computer? Thank you.

Well, there is nothing that prevents you from installing on your computer, but it is only for use by authorized service center.

  • Windows XP license for home computers

If an individual has Windows XP on a computer at home, and they get a second computer for use in their home, can I use the Windows XP license from their original computer to install XP on their second computer? Or should they buy a second copy of Windows XP for use at home?

If you have a version of Windows XP OEM (the one that came with a new computer), you can only install it on this computer.

If you have a retail version of Windows XP, you can remove a computer and install it on another computer.

If you want Windows XP on both computers, you must purchase a second copy.

Whenever I tried to load the antivirus software, or similar, I saw in the 'my windows task manager process windows' image or start whd.exe process name my software would be closed and a screen could come that had microsoft images etc on this subject. He asked me to sign up or enter my code', that I could download for $59. I managed to fix it myself, but before I did I sent an email to their 'support center' telling them that I was going to find and to make their visit for wasting my time! I put a contactable email address down and got one got a naughty response. Hello sorry, but there is no payments with your email. Please send me your e-mail to registration or transaction ID thank you and have a great day! email address * address email is removed from the privacy * who can I send this on, it was a scam and for someone who has no idea about computers, they would have to pay somethig to someone to fix it. enough of these people, they need to be stopped.

    Hello

Did you pay for Office (including Excel) in a packaging separated when you bought your computer?

Office is not included with your purchase of computer for free.

Most new computers come with a trial version of Office that lets 'x' number of days usuage.

After this test times out, you will have to buy Office.

And the product key on the computer case or laptop for the operating system, not for the desktop Suite.

  • Questions about upgrading Vista to Windows 7 for free as it was offered once?

Several years ago I got when I was with Windows XP I spoke to Microsoft and said I could use the 64-bit and 32-bit disk on different computers, by using the same product key, but there are certain requirements.  I think the 2 computers were to be in the same place and I was the owner.  I'm a little hazy on the rules, but I know that I learned that I could use both versions 32 and 64 different bits with the same key.  I have a desktop running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional and a laptop running Vista.  Both are registered for me, but the laptop was a gift from our son for the wife who is disabled and never leaves the House except for visits to the doctor.  It comes preinstalled with Vista, but there were so many problems with Vista, Microsoft offers an automatic upgrade to Windows 7 at the time.  I never took advantage of this because Best Buy, where the laptop was purchased, wanted to get paid to do the upgrade.  My wife is now having a lot of trouble with various programs with Vista, I have two disc of Windows 7 Professional, I received directly from Microsoft, a 32-bit and 64-bit.  There is only 1 button, but I learned the upgrade to Windows 7 was supposed to be free.  I have much more knowledge now and can install the update myself, but can I use the 32 bit disc and the very key to do.  Otherwise, I would use the 32-bit disk and get a new key?  Where can I get a new key for the Vista upgrade to Windows 7 for free as it was offered once?

This is incorrect information, product key for 1 license 1, 1 computer.

I'm a little hazy on the rules, but I know that I learned that I could use both versions 32 and 64 different bits with the same key.

Yes, and you can use it to activate on the same computer architecture.

Sorry, but this offer no longer exist.

The Windows 7 Upgrade Option program debuted on June 26, 2009 , it provides that anyone who buys a PC to a participant OEM or retailer with Windows Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate to receive an upgrade to the corresponding version of Windows 7 at a cost little or not. The Option Windows 7 upgrade program will be available until January 31, 2010 and is global.

I have much more knowledge now and can install the update myself, but can I use the 32 bit disc and the very key to do.  Otherwise, I would use the 32-bit disk and get a new key?  Where can I get a new key for the Vista upgrade to Windows 7 for free as it was offered once?

You will need to purchase an additional license.

  • What is the best way to install windows 7 on 3 computers at home, all Macs with no previous version installed?

I intend to divide my drive hard while I have both a mac and pc side to get the best of both worlds, but I'm not sure what product would be best suited. As I said previously is for 3 computers that don't have currently no version of windows on them, so I guess the family upgrade would be of no use and I'm not sure whether a House package might be installed on all 3?

The most cost-effective option in your case is to buy copies of Windows 7 Home Premium System Builder. You will always have to spend money, but against the full package of Windows 7 Home Premium retail, its more profitable:

    Price OEM new eggs:
    Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116752
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116754

The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

-OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

-OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

-OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard
