Windows XP, impossible to authenticate?

I turned off my computer and restarted but when I get to the login screen XP my keyboard will not allow the entry of my password for access? I checked my keyboard cable and it's secure attachment but when I try and type my password, nothing happening on the screen. I also tried to restart and turn off my computer several times, but that did not help. Can anyone help?

Thank you for answering, the keyboard Num Loc light is the only light on. I had the problem solved by turning off and unpluging my power strip.

    Hello

Looks like you haven't mschap authentication is enabled on the ldap server. You can use eap - gtc instead, but need you:

1 enable eap - gtc under protocols allowed on your ACS access policy

    2. install an eap - gtc "supplicant" on the windows box - if you have a wireless network card intel, the intel proset client supports eap - gtc

This could mean a fair bit of work according to the number/type of wireless clients you have - could be useful on the LDAP mschap authentication activation.

The search in the Microsoft Knowledge Base takes only a few minutes and so I founded this article:

It s not the same error that you have, but to resolve the problem, you must disable the antivirus and perhaps also the firewall.

Hi all, recently I buyed a HP 15-Ay007la. I never liked W10 and S8. I want W7 on my laptop. And one, I can't install it. When the installation starts, windows displays an error message saying "Driver" undetected and aborts the installation. I tried to download drivers USB, CD Drivers, disk drivers HARD and nothing, nothing of this driver works... Anyone has a solution?, I've updated the BIOS many times and I try before the change of the installation in Legacy mode, I think are a field of missing space, disk mode, I found one, maybe I need change SATA to IDE, but I have not found it. Thanks for reading.

EDIT: I tried several times during installation, perform a new installation by pressing SHIFT + F10, diskpart, own, create the partition and exit. None of this has worked. Thus, a new installation does not work. DiskPart detect the HARD drive no, but the Installation.

    Hello:

You don't have to have the BIOS in legacy with disabled secure boot mode like W7 is not compatible with secure startup.

Well, I'll point you to the support options of Vista SP2-related, but since you were executed without a fully functional, fully updated antivirus application for who-knows-how-long, I think you are looking for to format your HARD drive and do a clean install of Vista it. • Windows (Vista) Impossible to check updates, 80244004 error code

My system shows status bar that updating windows icon with the message "Windows cannot check for updates. When I run the update of windows is gives the error code 80244004.

In the last weeks, I tried several times to solve this problem, but in vain. I don't know how many suggestions I've tried, but here's a list of some of them:
    -Cleanboot,
-Fix for windows KB947821 (update tool system),
    -Microsoftfixit.wu.LB139301626980876022.3.1.run.exe,
    -Microsoftfixit.wu.MATSKB.run.exe,
    -System File Checker,

There is a bit of history for my laptop which can be substantial. The last three years, that my cell phone was in the closet due to a graphics card problem. Recently someone has managed to solve this problem and I might start again using my laptop. At first, I tried to make updates, but ran into the problem that the clock of the computers was completely obsolete. After resetting the clock to the time I was able to do some updates (don't remember those who however), but it just shows how much time the laptop was not in use.
I first noticed the windows update problem when I saw the windows Defender Update icon in the system tray. I managed to solve that with a manual installation method. But I was not able to solve the problem of Windows Update.

Windows Update displays "check more recent updates 14/09/2010" and below that it shows "updates have been installed 13/08/2013.

According to the "history of the updated" the following updates have been installed since my laptop worked again:
-Microsoft .NET framework client profile 4 for windows vista x 86 KB982670, date of installation 08/13/2013.
-Update for windows KB928439, date installed 25/08/2013,
-Multiple copies of the fix for windows KB947821 (analysis of system update tool).

It was the last before update:
-Update for windows defender KB915597 (definition 1.89.1145.0), date 09/07/2010 installation.

I am running windows Vista Edition Home Premium x 86 SP2 on a laptop Acer Aspire 9303.
In some database posts I've read on an anti-virus program ESET causing problems, but I do not run it. I have Malwarebytes, SUPERantispyware, CCleaner, Spybot and TDSSKiller.

Can someone suggest a method step by step to solve my problem?
    Thanks in advance.

    Roland
