WINDOWS XP3 unavailable to replace WGAN said imitations.

It seems that MS have abandoned the manufacture of XP3, told by one of their local/regional office. They have no stocks. But the software is awailable with dealers / stores sharpened. What guarantee we have when we buy them, or, history is repeating itself.

Manufacturing time returns go down or they are launching a new product, say W7, they tend to create a panic for their loyal merchants and also to promote new product sales and boost of material as well.

Some MS site I've connected to solution starts by - Upgrade for Windows 7, IE 8, Office 2010... Is this practice fair trade?  We are faced with the market vendors? All views.

  • Error message - Windows files have been replaced by unrecognized to start Windows XP, files.

Original title: unrecognized Windows files at startup.

I recently installed XP Service Pack 3, which included the so-called "Power Shell". Since when I then boot up, I get a message box that Windows files have been replaced by unknown files. I gives me the opportunity to continue with these files not recognized or not. If I choose "Yes" to continue, the message warns me that continue with those unrecognized files could make Windows unstable. If I choose 'No', I received instruction to insert the correct CD and install the files. Problem is the only drive I have is the Operating System CD that came with my Dell Inspiron 530 s. The message then told me that it's not the correct CD.
I thought about uninstalling Power Shell, but I get a message that it could lead to things like updates of IE and do not work. What should I do?

The messge comes up saying that it is not the correct CD as Service Pack of the CD must match with the Service Pack installed on your computer. However, there was a similar question was asked here - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/in-xp-getting-error-files-that-are-required-for/f7433993-e5c2-454c-8f23-ddd7fdb3630b

  • Virus on Windows, does not start and he said: no operating system or it is corrupt

    Original title: help please

I have a laptop with windows vista. Apparently, someone in the House caught a virus.  now windows will not start and he said: I have no operating system or it is corrupted. can not even boot in safe mode or anything.  says windows error recovery screen when turned on.  any help is appreciated.

    Hi Lawry206,

You can try the following steps and check if it helps.

Method 1: Disconnect external devices attached to the computer and restart to check the issue.

    Method 2:

Since you are unable to start the computer in safe mode, you try to perform a repair to start the Windows recovery environment (WINRE Mode) and check if it helps to solve the problem.

You need start from your Installion of Windows Vista disc.

If startup repair does not help, then try a restore of the system of the WINRE Mode and check.

You can see the following link for more information.

  • Cannot install Windows 8 on the replacement hard drive

I got the replacement from Dell hard drive which he said would come with Windows 8 and pre-installed drivers. Well, I installed the hard drive and he said no. OS can be found. I didn't have a chance to make my own backup discs, but Dell sent a CD Windows 8 recovery media with the laptop and now with the replacement hard drive.

When you try to install Windows 8 on the new hard drive, I get to the part where it tells me to choose a partition to install Windows 8 on and none of them will not let me. There are 5 to choose from and I don't know what to do to get past this. The largest partition either 5A about 934 GB of space left out of 1 TB, but as I said I can't choose it or one of the other ones for the installation.

You just have to click on next, in any case, despite the message?  Otherwise:

Start on the DVD of Windows 8, instead of install now, click repair your computer, Advanced Options, invites ... when it opens, type the following:

    DiskPart
    Select disk 0
    clean

    Then, try to install.

The above will remove all the data partition and disk, allowing you to do a clean install on an empty drive (these scores are not required, and Windows will create its own partitions (two) he needs to install and run).

  • Product key recovery Windows 8.1 AFTER replacement of the operating system

    Hello

I was wondering if there is any way out of this pickle.

I had problems with my pc (mainly the printer spooler errors) of a virus so I decided to do a system restore. Only problem was that I had the pc built for me and the person has used a downloaded Windows 8.1 version (no cd). When I went to restore the operating system he said I was "missing data". As I had no cd to I found a so-called work around where you use the missing data from one version of windows business to fill the gaps and it should allow me to restore the version I had (8.1 regular).

Well low and behold, I load my windows and it is has been replaced by this...

So I tried to reinstall Windows 8.1 using the ISO and the extraction of the key with Magic Jellybean, but, of course, the key had been crushed as well with this useless key.

I called Microsoft to see if they could recover my OLD key that has written more because I was signing on my account when I logged in while I had my version 8.1 ordinary and download of updates. The people at the other end doesn't seem to understand what I was talking and kept transfer me different places when they are confused as to what I was asking (the language barrier I guess).

ALL I NEED IS MY OLD RETURN KEY! If not hidden on my computer somewhere so how to get Microsoft to please look into this also. I even signed up for Windows 10 deployment on my 8.1 original.

    Thanks in advance

  • Cannot install Windows on Bootcamp after replacing 3 TB FusionDrive with 1 TB SSD

3 merger to drive has been replaced by 1 TB SSD drive. When reinstalling OS X I see that the 128 GB drive of Fusion is still available as a hard disk, which prevents me to install OS X or Windows (Bootcamp) on the SSD.

I tried a few ways to install:

    1. OSX on SSD (recovery Internet Mode, delete all partitions and repartitioning, SSD)
Installation fails when you try to install
    2. OSX on FusionDrive (128 GB), Bootcamp on SSD
OSX installs fine, Bootcamp does not work. First time (10 Windows) I got an error message i/o failure and winload.exe, second time (8.1 Windows) a back message with 'failed to load the operating system, press CTRL + ALT + DELETE. That part a few times.
    3. OSX on FusionDrive (128 GB), Bootcamp on same drive
Working, but limited to 128 GB for OSX and Bootcamp
    4. Make the logical Volume (fusiondrive) with 128 GB and 1 TB
OSX works, but can not give more than 64 GB to my Bootcamp. Bootcamp to 64 GB ok.
    5. OSX on FusionDrive (128 GB), Bootcamp on FusionDrive - to SSD with Winclone
8.1 clean Windows Installer, Sysprep. Everything looks ok in Winclone. When you try to reboot I get a message similar to "failed to load the operating system

I would like to at least 800 GB on my Bootcamp. Does anyone know how to make this work?

  • Touchsmart 320 computer: Activation of Windows 7 after the replacement of the motherboard

After that my PC has failed because the motherboard has been damaged by an electric shock, I replaced the motherboard in a Service of HP to the Chile. When I got back my PC it works fine, but after 1 week, it begins to show a message that says I need activate Windows 7. When I try to activate, it asks me the product key, but there is no place to find. After a few days it will lock up and I could ' t use more. I pick up the PC with recovery system and works very well the first days but again is asking me to activate Windows 7. Where can I get activation key for my Windows 7 original product? I want to continue to use my PC normally.

    Thank you.

    Greetings,

There should be a Microsoft COA 25 character sticker attached to your system.

Try the product on the certificate of Authenticity number.

You will need to contact HP for the service if there is no COA sticker.

It seems that HP did not tattoo the BIOS on the new motherboard with the correct information to auto activate the operating system.

  • Windows series satellite A350D - replacement number

Hello guys and girls. I have a problem.
I have reinstalled Windows Vista on my Satellite A350D and serial number located on the sticker on the back of the laptop is not valid.

Everything was ok when I reinstalled Vista 7 months ago.
I had XP for six months and now I need Vista, but the serial number is not valid.

Tried to contact Microsoft, but they said I need to contact mobile OEM (Toshiba) as windows was pre-installed.
So the problem is that I can't find any support email that I could write to. only the numbers of fax or phone and only in the United States.

Can someone help me? Maybe you know any email I can try to contact my problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi mate

The serial number of windows key located at the bottom of the device belongs to the preinstalled version of Windows OEM!
It will NOT work with other versions of Windows!

If you want to use a different version of windows you will need to purchase the Microsoft Windows operating system.

The Toshiba recovery disc were the preinstalled windows OS is placed is already enabled and you don t the serial key!

  • Satellite L300 - how to reinstall Windows Vista on the replacement HARD drive

    Hello

My HARD drive has stopped working on my PSLB9E. He started making whirring noises and wouldn't start. all tests show it does not. Now I guess I need a replacement for HARD drive and watched a TOSH MK2565GSX or other similar. Problem is I can't find my Windows key anywhere.

It is can get the key to Toshiba/Microsoft giving them all my contact information or do I have to buty a new HARD drive and install a copy newly purchased Windows on? If Yes, then I'll put W7 on I guess.

Thanks in advance for any help I receive!

    SB

    > Problem is that I can't find my Windows key anywhere.
The preinstalled Windows operating system and the image that is placed on the Toshiba recovery disc were already activated and therefore the serial key is not necessary.
If you don t have the recovery disc, so you can buy this drive here:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

It s not expensive; 30 euros I guess.

  • Can not recover the Windows 7 desktop after replacing the hard drive

I bought a new HP Pavillion Elite (HPE-240f) in August 2010. A week ago my hard drive has no SMART short self-test during systematic hardware diagnostics. I installed a new hard drive of the same size - 1 TB and could never make it work properly. I tried the following (in that order).

    1. using a system repair disc, I got the system from a previous image (which I did shortly after the purchase, install my own software and configuration of all). It worked, but then I noticed that Windows Update was not working. I ran various Microsoft diagnostic tools and discovered that some (unspecified) system files have been damaged or missing. All the fixes I tried didn't work. I ran hardware diagnostics extended, but no problem not found.

    2. I tried to restore the system to the default settings by using the original image on the D partition. At first it seemed to work, but at the last moment when the system started, I saw a message on the screen that Setup is starting services and then got a warning saying that services failed because of (unspecified) problems with hardware.

    3. I tried to restore the system from the system recovery discs and a message "system recovery disks do not support this computer."

    4. I found this Cyberlink utility on the HP website, dealing with precisely this issue. I created a CD tried and it didn't work.

    5. I found this document on the HP Web site, saying that if you are replacing a hard drive with sectors of 512 bytes with a new advanced Format (AF) drive (with areas of 4 096 bytes) and your system was manufactured before October 2010 (as mine was), you must get the new HP recovery disks. I thought I finally found the root of my problems (since the new drive is indeed AF and the old man is not) and ordered HP recovery discs.

    6. the disks arrived today, and I noticed that the version number of the software (for Windows 7 version) is almost the same as on the computer, except that the last digit is 9 on disks and 6 on the computer - I guess it's an update to deal with the problem hard drive AF. However, I get 'system recovery disks do not support this computer' error, if I use the utility from CyberLink recovery disks or not. To be on the safe side, I even used a new hard disc (new 1 TB) right out of the box (never partioned and installed previously) and connected the original keyboard supplied with the computer (I also unplugged everything except the monitor, keyboard and mouse). However, I get the same message. Just out of curiosity I tried to put back the original hard drive (certainly not in best shape, even if the system always starts with him) and still could not recover the system.

    What else can I try?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

An alternative to try. > If you can read the Microsoft Windows 7 of 25-character license key attached to the Tower, you can download a Windows 7 ISO file to burn to a DVD. The version must match that on the sticker COST Microsoft. for example Home Premium
