  Yes, see if the Office 2003 uninstaller, restart and then put it back correct the behavior.

  I tried to do a upgrade to windows 10, but after completing, all the programs that came with my laptop (Acer Aspire 5749) have been removed and put in a separate folder named 'deleted Apps ".   [Vista 32 bit] I returned this intrusion in the files to my PC and I always despise microsoft to decide to act like a pirate.  I'll give microsoft some time to answer this, but I expect to be as horrible as they are usually with the customer service.   So in a few weeks, I'll start to smear the name of microsoft as much as possible and sway anyone my possible to buy non-Microsoft products.

  If you select the download updates but let me choose... option, no update will install without your approval. Suppose an update will require a reboot and does not approve the installation of an update until & unless you are ready to restart.

  You can change the AU for the "updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting. Once you have done this, you will need to approve the updates are downloaded, the updates are installed and where they are installed.

  I prefer "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them" setting.

  I am facing this problem with several software. When I try to launch Windows Mobile devices, it crashes or closes just without any notification.   • You have security software installed on the computer?
  • Since when are you facing this problem?
  • You did changes to the computer before this problem started?

  Before solving the problem, I suggest to create a system manually, Restore Point so that in this case, a problem occurs when performing these steps, you can always perform a system restore.

  Step 1

  Uninstall Windows Mobile device under Windows Vista programs and features. Access the link below and follow the steps in the article to uninstall the program.

  Version 6 is old enough. You skipped a lot of upgrades.

  If you load the updates go you to the version of the upgrade. This is why's called it an upgrade.
  Personally, I stayed at the version 24.6 because of all the problems that versions 31 and to have shown so far. They could be close to those of problems now and when they do I will move to the top.
