Windows7/printing spooling issue

I have problems with my HP printer.  When I send documents to print it, he hangs up when the queue.  I tried to remove HP imaging and disabling hpqcxs08 in respect of services such as suggested in other issues of the forum.  The problem persists.  Our computer said that it could be related to Windows 7 Professional does not properly.  I bought a Dell with Windows 7 pre-loaded.  Can I uninstall Windows7 and easily download from the Internet?

I see an error message about "spooler" problems

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print.

If you were expecting an abnormally long time to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, you may have to restart the spooler to print on your computer.

To restart the spooler, the simplest method is to save your work and restart the computer. Alternatively, you can try the following steps:

To restart the print spooler service

  1. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

  2. Click Start, type: services

  3. Press ENTER and scroll down to print spooler

  4. Right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.

  5. On the general tab, next to startup type, make sure that automatic is selected.

  6. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Start and then click OK.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation

  • How can I fix a printer spooler issue: when I reset the spooler will return to stop mode.

When I want to use my computer, I have to insert the CD of Lexmark and reinstall it.  My operating system is XP Pro and I use a Lexmark Z55 printer.

I have to re - install the printer almost after each use.  I went through technical help with Lexmark and they advise me to contact Microsoft.

The problem is the printer spooler and it will go back to stop mode after each use.

    Would appreciate any help

    Thank you

I'm not Bruce (although I can see why you might have thought if :-)).

You haven't seen a 'Version 3' as in this picture (or, as Bruce page, may be Version 2 or both):

It can be a bit difficult to find the utility appropriate among everything in the Resource Kit.  Try to download just cleanspl.exe there--> http://honestpchelp.com/2011/cleanspl-exe-print-spooler-cleaner/ (which is not my site, but I downloaded the file in the past and it seems to be both authentic and malware-free).

  • Devices and printers suspendusent/Print Spooler error causing printing issues

Hello fellow forum participants and Rangers.

    I tried the things:

    (1) sometimes restarting the PC would magically make it work.

    (2) restart Printerspooler fix the problem

    (3) automatic setting rather than manual Bluetooth function has failed.  (has worked for most of the people similar/same problem).

    (4) we tried to reload the drivers.  Temporary solution, but the printing problem happen again.

Any help would be highly appreciated and sorry for the wall of text.  This question led me into the wall!  Thanks in advance.

  • When I updated printer spooler 'automatic', after a reboot or two it automatically switches back to "manual". How to make 'automatic' permanently?

    Microsoft Vista

I was the only one who got to manual in the first place, I did not know.
I tried the fix from microsoft, this program (which set to automatic, but after a restart printer spooler is indented in the manual) I tried the system restore and reinstall the drivers. Don't know what I can do
The printer is a HP officejet 5610
Any help would be really appreciated, it does not even need to be a solution, just a way to get around it.

    Method 2:

If the method above does not help then you can try to run the system restore and check if that helps resolve the issue.

To perform the system restore using the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/system-restore

    Method 3: Clean boot

Perform a clean boot may help if there is a third-party program, change the setting of service.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

  • Photosmart HP 6520: Print spooler

I was able to print from my phone (Samsung Galaxy s7) without problem on several different HP using the card of HP printers in. In the last three weeks, I get the message that has not stopped the print spooler. I took the plug stop, off, reinstalled, and I get the same message.

Hey @castettower, Hello and welcome to the Forums of HP!

I understand that you see a message that has not stopped the print spooler. As I understand it, there is no option to restart the spooler given only with a Windows operating system, but I'll help you with an alternative.

First of all, we will make a copy of all your personal data, photos, etc. on an external device. Then try to clear the cache of your printing application:

    1. Press the Menu button , then select Control Panel(or settings ).
    2. Click handler applications ( Apps).

The print spooler is a Microsoft services so that they would be the best people to talk to.  Most likely, the registry keys for the print spooler has not installed right.  My advice would be to format and reinstall the OS, but you can see what Microsoft has to say before doing this.  They may know a solution for this specific error.  Here is a link to a discussion I found on Microsoft Community on this issue.  I hope this helps.

  • Canon printer this print spooler problem

I have a printer canon set up a network for the last 12 months without a problem.  Today, when I press print, the document goes to the spooler, but does not print.  Only when I restart the computer will display the items.  All other computers on the network are not performed.  According to the Canon when I called them, they said that I had a problem of print spooler.  The spooler is set to automatic and when I manually restart the spooler prints the item.  The printer driver has been reinstalled and I am sure this isn't the printer.  How can I solve this problem, then the element I want to print, print when I press the button? If the computer is connected to the router by cable, this problem does not occur

print spooler seems to be turned off how do I turn it on?

    Hello

Windows operating system you are using?

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print. If you were expecting an abnormally long time to print a document, or if you see an error message about the print spooler, Spooler subsystem or spooler resources, you might need to change and then restart the print spooler service on your computer.

To do this, we recommend that you save your work and restart the computer to restart the print spooler service. If you do not want to restart the computer, try these steps.
