  My laptop has recently started to fade, it is connected to the network so I don't think it would be the battery, but when it turns off, it shows that the light orange low battery, is it the battery or is it something to do with the laptop itself?

  Hi Jo,.

  The usual cause of sudden power thresholds is overheating. It's chacterised of the laptop just lose all power with little warning (other than the cooling fans running at full speed). This can be corrected easily enough by sucking just any dust or debris on the aspiration air grilles with a vacuum hose.

  If the laptop goes off in a more controlled manner, then this could be a fault in the electronics of power supply which causes the cell to run on battery, even if the AC adapter is plugged in. In this case, the problem may reside with the AC adapter itself, with the connecting cable, or with the plug located on the back of the laptop.

  It's really, really strange, I mean the BT and the Wlan can be turned on and off using the Fn + F8 key combination. He s strange that it does not work.

  To my knowledge the Fn buttons are controlled by VAP (value added package) and the Support of additional Flash memory card utility BT stack and Wlan driver must be installed.
  I would recommend following:

  -Uninstall the driver Wlan and BT stack
  -Uninstall the VAP and utility of Flash card support
  -Install CCLeaner and clean the registry (CCleaner is a free tool)
  -You must restart the computer after each step.
  - Then reinstall the driver Wlan and BT
  -Restart and install VAP and Flash cards
  -Restart the unit and check if BT and Wlan can be enabled and disabled.

  NOTE: Fn + F8 should be pressed several times disabled these functions.

  I erased my HDD on a 15 "Macbook Pro retina to sell to Gazelle. I forgot that I had to stop to find my Mac. I have sign in iCloud online & remove the device from the list of my devices. The unit starts at this point until the configuration screen. Is it enough to turn off to find my Mac? I would prefer not to have to reset the Mac upward again to disable find my Mac only to have to turn around & clear again. I know that there may be a delay to the Gazelle when you sell something to find my Mac power; but I think I did the repair by singing in iCloud & remove device it. The only thing that confuses me is that iCloud reported that if the device goes online again, it will reappear in my list of devices... which it should not. (It's perhaps just a warning for devices not erased after losing, etc.. This is not the case with the MacBook, I sell, of course).

  Can anyone confirm that I did what I should and that things will be OK? (I called Gazelle; but the person tech I spoke with that does not understand the question.) She gave me a link to check the status of an iPhone activation.)

  After erasing the iCloud.com device, you should have the option "delete account", this will ensure the new owner has no problem with finding my phone.

  This happens if you Wake up on LAN enabled in the BIOS. Check the BIOS Wake on LAN and also disable USB Sleep & Charge.

  I had the same problem on my PC and after that I disabled Wake up on LAN in the BIOS, it worked!

  What kind of PC you are using? A desktop or laptop computer?
  By "doesn't turn off" do you mean that you cannot close it in the start menu? or you can't even by pressing the button on your desktop/laptop?
  If you can turn it off in the start menu then your power button is damaged, and if you can't spend it in the start menu then something is wrong with your operating system.
