Wireless devices not detected?

Hi there I hope someone can help me? Our wireless on our computer laptop HP PAVILION G SERIES does not work. When you press the wireless button, it remains on the amber. I've read other messages. I don't think that we have installed two anti virus programs. We have a toddler and wonder if it has something press. WiFi works on our phones!
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I desperately need to use the laptop!

Hello

You have a few options in my opinion please try these steps can help you solve your problem.

(1) unplug the battery adaptor & then press on & press and hold the power button for laptop for 30 seconds then switch on and check if the wireless led lights.

(2) go to Device Manager then uninstall the drivers wireless network card and restart the device and check if the light is on.

(3) try to do a system restore to the date where unit was working fine.

(4) Please update the Bios driver & wireless from the HP website.

(5) click on start search type Recovery Manager, and then click on it once select Yes on user access control, and then select I need immediate help and then select driver and select request recovery driver wireless and install it and then restart the device.

(6) If you are comfortable with reinstalling the wireless card that will be on the rear panel of your device you can try this steps as well.

If you still have the same question so you must call HP tech support and get the replacement of the part.

  • Wireless device not detected after upgrade of windows 8

I upgraded my HP Pavilion dv6338se notebook PC for windows 7 to windows 8.  Now the wireless device is not detected when I check the settings.  Device Manager showed a coprocessor that didn't have a driver, I downloaded a driver NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 and the coprocessor error is now gone.  I also updated the BIOS with the latest driver from HP.  Still no joy with the wireless.  Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

It seems that windows is unable to find the drivers for the Wifi card and the HP pavilion dv6338 model can not have updated drivers for Windows 8 on the HP website.

I'd still be recommendyou to check with the help of HP if they have updated drivers for the model you mentioned.

  • T400 no wireless device not detected in Device Manager.

    Hello

I have a problem. I bought a new T400. As for specification - it has WLAN (EAN: nm322us).

    Dealer information:

    Wireless network Yes

    Standards wireless a/g/n

Type of wireless card Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN

But no wireless network card detected (in Device Manager), when the computer starts.  No in the bios for the WLAN mac address. So, where is a problem? A dealer cheated me and there is no WLAN in this computer? Or are there problems with the detection of devices of MS Windows Vista Business? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Solved. The problem was that activate WLAN in BIOS was 2 places -strange. Update BIOS maybe after. Before the upgrade - as usual-, I looked in the network section (to activate WLAN). There was no option, besides, to activate the wired network. I don't know if it was in the other section (System i/o ports) before the BIOS update, but in my opinion - in any case, it's strange to Wired and wireless in separate sections network devices. Thank you very much for the help.

  • Bluetooth device not detected - HP Pavilion G6-1139TX

Yesterday (January 7, 2012), I bought a HP Pavilion G6-1139TX. I installed Windows 7 (32 bit). Everything installed properly, but the system does not detect the Bluetooth device. When I try to install the software/driver Bluetooth that is "Broadcom 2070 Bluetooth", it gives me error "No. BLUETOOTH DEVICE CONNECTED/DETECTED" and abandonment of the installation. Same Bluetooth switch is on. In Device Manager there is a yellow question mark with the code "BCM20702A0". Please guide me what is the problem and how to fix this problem. What's the problem in hardware or something else?  For your information, a Wi - Fi connection works correctly.

I had the same problem Bro too. Here's what I did,

Google code as 'BCM20702A0 driver '. Then try to catch the driveridentifier site link (sorry bro m not at home to provide you with exact link.m via my phone right nw.) Just saw your message and Thoth to answer with what I know). Then, there will be a link to download not only bcm2070 pilot but also any blutooth broadcom drivers.

    * Download the package. It will be like 100-150 mb. CNT remember exactly. And don't forget to check that your hardware ID list. You can get that from Device Manager. And neglect even if the site mentioned another computer brand.not hp.
    * install the pack, and then restart the laptop.
    * After this, return to Device Manager and go to the properties of the bluetooth driver. (the one with the yellow exclamation point. I hope you know how to do and do not forget to activate the wireless cnction otherwise it wouldn't show up there)

    * in the Properties window, go to the update driver and click on the button browse my computer for driver.
Then select bluetooth, then broadcom adapters and I remember select bluetooth 3.0 HS... blah... blah... it will be a lot like that. But try to choose a simple. It still works.
    * to transfer files, I s\u0026 an incompatibility with the windows utility. Then first pair your device. Then use Obex Commander. Its a free app and I find it more useful to use.

    That's it bro.

  • WIFI device not detected after installing Windows updates.

Original title: WiFi stops working when loading Windows (Win7).

After that the last series of Win7 update is more my Wi - Fi works.

My computer is the only one in the affected House. Wi - Fi is on (the radio light is on) when you start up loads of Windows, and then he went. More my factory installed Atheros wireless network card is no longer visible in the device, only the Ju Fast Ethenet controller Marvell Manager. I have re-installed the Atheros driver in the hope that the system would then find the device. No luck. Even the F8 key is operable, so using the FN + F8 key to activate the Wi - Fi is a bust.

We know that the camera is good, but Windows doesn't see a reason any. This seems to be a matter of Win7 and not a hardware problem.

    • Please let know us if there is a FIX to this problem - I spent the last 4 days of research on this and I'm not alone.

  • X121e Bluetooth device not detected

Hello, I just got a new Thinkpad X121e (the one with 1.3 GHz i3 CPU). I tried to get the Bluetooth in Windows 7, but the driver gives me an error message during the installation my Bluetooth device is not detected. Bluetooth is enabled in the Bios. Everything else, including WiFi, works without problem. What kind of device is built in this kind of Thinkpad's Bluetooth? Are there other measures I could try to fix this?

I found the solution: the necessary tool is included in the "lenovo power management. Now I turn on Bluetooth with Fn + F5 and it works as expected. Also when you use the ThinkVantage System Update software, it was possible to install the Bluetooth tools when Bluetooth is turned off. Which was not possible, by directly downloading the Bluetooth software.
