    Hello;

Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

I read your post on WiFi often disconnect and wanted to help.

Whenever someone comes here running Win10 and complains about something just suddenly does not work, I immediately suspect driver updates Windows.

Unfortunately, Win10 forces automatically updates driver on each of us, without our knowledge and without our permission - and in this case, a work PC is suddenly 'broken '.  This could happen to you.

You must go to settings, update & security--> Windows Update.

Then choose Advanced Options--> history to see when the updates have been applied last.  If you see one that include device drivers, who might be the problem. So, if you can, you should see if you can restore the drivers that are causing the problem.  Do so you by going into Device Manager, see if the device is still listed and so, trying to restore the last driver update.

And if this resolves the problem, then disable future driver updates by using the information in the link: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/48277-driver-updates-windows-update-enable-disable-windows-10-a.html

If you don't see the driver updates recently, then try the steps in this thread: HP PC - wireless network and Internet troubleshooting

    Good luck

  • Compac presario CQ62 wireless adapter disconnects frequently

My laptop compac presario CQ62 wireless adapter disconnects frequently while I'm online. y at - it a driver update that will help solve this problem?

    Hello

    Thanks for providing this information.

I would like that go you to this link: drivers PC laptop Compaq Presario CQ62-421NR. Once here use the "scan now" under the control of the updates. This will scan your laptop all the updates that are available. If you see something that indicates wireless, make sure that this update is complete.

The other option to do this: go to the Device Manager (start type in search Device Manager), under network adapters, you should see the wireless card. Make a note of it (it must be a brand name) so that you can reply back with it. You can then right click on it and try to update directly from the driver.

If neither help in updating the wireless, please answer back with card network information. In addition, the operating system that is currently installed on the laptop.

    Thanks for your reply.

  • Y500 Wireless disconnection

My wireless disconnects always randomly a few times every day. Before I had to resolve to fix wireless adapter when I had this problem. Then, I tried a few fixes in other threads with the similar topic. It always disconnects randomly, but I don't have to fix it, simply manually connect to wifi. No other devices connected to my network have this problem.

    Try this:

    1. disable bluetooth (you can play and activate this later, after problems and achieve a stable wifi connection problem)

    2. start the bios and disable secure boot (reactivate this once your problem solved)

    3. start in safe mode

    4. go in Control Panel/Device Manager and look for the wifi card. It should be in the network card.

    5. uninstall the driver. When presented with the case of the delete option to delete permanently. Click OK.

    6 reboot the device.

    7. Windows will install its own driver wifi with the default settings. Do not change the settings.

    8. connect to the internet. Enter the ssid and passhrase to establish the connection.

Check if you have a stable connection. If so, remember to re-enable secure boot.

Every night between 19:00 and 22:00 our browser laptops wireless disconnects. There are 2 to 4 other connections, showing other places in the region. Could it be the problem?

    Hello

    (1) did you make any changes before the show?
    (2) you receive an error message/code?

Method 1: Try to disable all security temporarily software and check the status of the issue.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
    I hope this helps.
  • Dv4-1301TX - disconnects from wireless network frequently. Vista operating system

I bought recently a laptop DV4-1301TX with Vista Home Premium. The laptop is great, but I have a question that I can't solve. I get disconnected from the network wireless intermittently. When this happens, I will receive a time out page while surfing on the internet. To resolve this issue, turn off/turn on the wireless network with the HP wireless Assistant. The problem repeats frequently while surfing internet. I have updated the driver to the latest version.

I have another laptop HP with Windows XP which works very well with my wireless network. All opinions are appreciated.

    Hello

Thanks for the reply. I managed to solve my problem by upgrading the firmware of the laptop. Mine has an older version. After upgrading the firmware, I don't experience any disconnects from the wireless network.

  • Frequent DeskJet F4580 wireless disconnects

I'm having a problem whereby the F4580 simply stops responding to network traffic after an hour or two of not used.

There are no settings in the built-in Web server to change this behavior, and the only way I can solve it is to power cycle the printer

So far, I tried the following:

Disabled IPv6 on router (Buffalo WII-HP-G300NH) and PC (Win7 64 bit)

Assigned to static IP address (from outside DHCP rank)

    Disabled all firewall

Forwarded to all ports mentioned on this post

Installed the printer using a USB cable, Ethernet and WPS

Set of wireless network at no encryption (also tried WEP and WPA)

Even tried an old Netgear router I had knocking around thinking bison was somehow inconsistent but still got the same problem

Strange thing is, when the printer is disconnected (normally after one hour of non-use), the Network Configuration page still shows the method static IP I assigned to it (192.168.11.20) the light remains blue wireless solid (as in 'connected'), but the client monitor on my router did not mention the printer or it is MAC address.

During this time I can not ping the printer from any PC on my local network. However after a power magically in the cycle it starts to work.

This seems like a problem with the NETWORK card wireless on the printer itself. Is it possible to prevent it from entering the mode 'sleep'?

    New firmware?

The only thing I can find on the HP support pages are basic and full (quite horrible) printer driver version and a useless "Network Diagnostic Utility.

I cannot accept "Fix" of HP of power cycling of the printer. What is the point of buying a wireless printer if I have to restart every time I want to print something?

Any help would be greaty appreciated

    Kenny Dee

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

I have a portable Satellite A300D, I use a dock on the part of t-mobile as my wireless router, but all two minutes my internet connection is interrupted, I have to turn off the switch on the front of the laptop's wireless and put it turn it back on to find connection, I checked my settings and always on her.

  • Satellite L650 Wireless disconnects and connection cannot be retrieved

    Hello everyone,

I have a connectivity problem with my 3 year old Satellite L650, Windows 7...

I have a LAN wireless in my house, so that my laptop will automatically connect at startup, without any problem.
After some time (it can be minutes or hours) it loses signal and disconnects.

This isn't a real problem, because the router is quite far from here, with walls between which can reduce the signal, so no surprises.
But I can't reconnect later: connection status icon stops working.

I mean it shows the image corresponding to "available wifi connections" or "connected but no internet access, but or by clicking on the icon or move the cursor of the mouse on it gives no output... it is responseless, and I can't connect to my wifi or any other wireless network.

I tried to do it from the control panel - network and sharing Center, but the story is the same, the two "set up a new connection or network" and "connect to a network" is not responding when you click on it.
The only way to connect is to restart the pc.

    How can I solve this?

    Any suggestion is appreciated,
    Thank you!

    > The only way to connect is to restart the pc.
In case this question is repeated once again, try to refresh and renew the IP address.

Go to the console (in the type of search CMD)
Now use the command: ipconfig / renew

After this attempt to connect to the Wlan again.

In which case it would not be useful, I recommend you to change the settings of the router.
I mean that you need to reset the router. Then, you need to test with different types of protection Wlan Wlan connectivity and other standard Wlan (802 11 B G or N)

Test also the laptop with open WiFi. I mean, you must disable the encryption settings of the router. But this is only for testing purposes.
The WiFi network must always be secure.

  • Satellite P50 - MS Bluetooth mouse disconnects frequently

    Hello

I am owner of a P50 Satellite running Windows 8.1
I use with it that a Microsoft Sculpt comfort mouse connected via bluetooth

This mouse works OK with my old computer (running Windows 7) happens

Since I installed it on the Toshiba, I often have a total mysfunctionnement:
-The does'nt of the mouse work not at all
-It is seen in devices and detected as "working properly".

In this case, the only solution I have is to remove the configuration and pair it again with computers.

This problem occurs with varying frequency, from 30 seconds to several hours, I noticed that, when the computer is still running, without action on it, the mouse can remain active for hours but, when I use the computer, it most frequently disconnects

I wonder if this may have to do with the proximity of my smartphone (NExus 4), which has the bluetooth still offshore, but maybe can send waves that disturb bluetooth... but I never had any problems before with the Dell Vostro computer!

Does anyone have an idea or a solution?

    Concerning

I m wondering why you did not contact or visit Microsoft support pages or forums to check if this mouse is compatible and if she supports the new Windows 8.1

You said you have tested this mouse with other mobile and Win 7.
Well well, Windows 7 isn't Windows 8.1. There are big differences between the system and especially the software and drivers are not fully compatible.

I found the support of MS Sculpt Comfort Mouse page
    http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/sculpt-comfort-mouse
I found the software for iOS, Win 7 and Win 8 but nothing win 8.1

So probably it s a problem of compatibility between the mouse and the Win 8.1
