    Hello

It s always advisable using the pre-tested Toshiba original drivers and no other pilot. The drivers that you can find on Windows update are pre-tested for your system if I don't install them. Just use the drivers Toshiba on page and everything will be ok.

Please let me know if you can now print from your Windows 8.1 wireless. Please leave the printer and unplug the power cable, after a minute, you can maybe plug the wireless light and back will be back. Maybe it's just a little hiccup.

Yes the printer work with Windows 7 even if the software is not installed. You must use the-OS driver. However, have the software installed, it is not what is causing the problem.

I would like to help and will be happy for once I understand very well. Thank you for your patience. I am firmly convinced of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Forgive my application, but given that you can print on both computers, why not leave it as it is?

  • My office wireless icon is x'd - cannot detect wireless networks.

My computer screen suddenly went black this evening - the monitor was still, the fans were still humming, but it was totally insensitive.

I forced a stop, and when I rebooted the computer, my wireless icon has been x'd out. My computer cannot detect wireless networks (there are a half-dozen or more in my building). I tried a good stop and restart, but the problem was still there.

The Network Diagnostics tool told me to check the router, so I did--but all other devices in the House are connected very well. I thought it would be a malware, so I ran a MalwareBytes scan, which turned up nothing. Then I reinstalled the drivers from the card WLAN - no luck there.

System Restore has not solved the problem. ipconfig says "media state: disconnected ' for my WIFI adapter, but I don't know how to fix this. In the devices, the Broadcom WLAN card Manager, he says "this device is functioning correctly.

I work from home, so it is important that I can access my wireless. Help, please!

  • replaced wireless icon

The wireless icon in the taskbar notification area has been replaced by the wireframe icon.  Since I always use the Xe off wired connection wireless connection isn't helping.  How to bring back the wireless notification icon?

The switch is on and without thread is working but I don't know until I try to connect a place - and wants to get rid of the ed - X on the icon.  But oddly - the wireless icon won't appear again.   So I worry about this unless it disappears again.

  • Satellite L300 Wireless icon has the Cross Red but connected - SOLUTION

    Satellite L300. Home Premium Windows 7 32.

Updated the wireless driver Atheros to the download area of Toshiba (the newest driver released on 11/27/11). After the reboot, the icon in the notification area wireless shows with red cross through it even if it is connected. Not a big deal but annoying.

    Corrected by:
(Note: you must take note of your routers WEP key before doing this and if SSID is not it broadcasts)

    1. go on the network and sharing Center
    2. click on manage networks wireless on the left-hand menu
    3. highlight your connection and remove it.
    4. stop and restart the network connections service (to go to the Services console right-click on computer in the start menu and click on manage.) Expand Services and Applications, click Services).
    5. reconnect to your network by choosing from the list of available and entering the WEP key (or use him manually add... option if you must enter the SSID).
    6. If still the same then restart and reconnect to your network.

    Worked for me.

Alternatively you can try of course to roll back to the old driver.

  • Pavilion Elite HPE-wireless icon

Now, I have a Pavilion Elite HPE 577c and can not find information about the controls on the front of the machine.  There is a small, blue antenna icon, lit in the upper right... Does this mean, it SENDS a wireless signal?  Alternatively, this means that it is able to detect and use a wireless signal?  It's amazing to me that HP does not include a diagram of the features on the FRONT of the machine!  Can someone tell me what is this icon?

  • Windows 7 or 8 shows the wireless client connected to the access point, but the wireless icon displays "no internet connection".

I saw the same problem with a different providers wireless solution. When I've sniffed the air with OmniPeek and the network that the ap was conducting with WireShark, I see the arp for the gateway request going to the router, the router gateway response is sent to the suspect machine in the air, the acknowledgement of PC than the package but never fills the arp cache. I watched two arp responses in a vs work for lack of scenario, the two packages are the same.

The only way I could solve it was to disable IP Helper (not start too) services, reboot the machine. I see 3 to 4 drops per day, but since the deactivation of this Service the machines with that I tested have not seen the question once again.

    IP Helper:
Provides tunnel connectivity using technologies of transition IPv6 (6to4, ISATAP, Teredo, and Port Proxy) and IP-HTTPS. If this service is stopped, the computer will not have the benefits of improved connectivity offered by these technologies.

    Machines tested and fixed:

    Lenovo E540
    Lenovo W540
    Acer Aspire One
    Dell Latitude E6420

Ip assistance service has been changed about 40 laptops, a dozen of which would fail in about an hour. So far, 0 out of the 40 saw the question since this change and reboot (reset is the key after disable it) laptops. It's been about 5 days.

Any reason why disable this Service solves the problem? With it I can replicate the problem pretty quickly on a few different types of machines so it seems not to be driver or provider specific wireless network card. I checked through the Event Viewer logs, but nothing seems to be triggered during the show. Using the Troubleshooter or disconnect the wireless service will fix the problem for a short period only.
