  As much as I know ConfigFree has no influence on the WLAN functionality because this utility is created for monitoring and not for configuration. When I mean disappeared, I want to say the only reference I find is in system information, sub components-> network-> adapter, it shows in the list as "Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6200 AGN", the adapter type is 'Not available' and the installed part said '' Yes. '' When I press Fn + F8, he talks not of WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G WAN.

  I have checked all the configuration and software for references to the adapter. It does not show in the Device Manager, even not with hidden power devices. When I opened the profile definitions in Toshiba ConfigFree, it shows that the wire is not available. When I went to add/remove programs, I can't find a refernce to a driver for this card. The LED near the trackpad is yellow.

  I'm not an expert in Windows but I've dealt with Windows for a long time and I've usually managed to any installation/configuration of repair material. It left me speechless. It is a last resort before you send the laptop for repair.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A30-104 with an inprocomm ipn2220 built in wireless card. The problem I'm having is that when I get a network says its not available and asks me to turn it on.

  The driver is installed for the card, the switch for the wireless is set on you and I pressed FN & F8 and yet led remains off and nothing happens.
  I watched autour and seen that some people cover the terminals 11 and 13 and it works but not too sure.

  I also should this problem with a new card or is there a way to fix this?

  I guess that you upgraded the wireless lan card later, didn t you? I know that 11 + 13 pins hint and it worked, but after awhile the card did not and the connection quality was so poor that I bought a card atheros on ebay and this card works really well. So I suggest that you are looking for a card atheros on ebay and to install such card in your system since the cards are known to work properly in the toshiba machines.

  Dear users. I just bought a new HP laptop p036TX, but I can't get wifi to work. I installed all the drivers and updates available to your Web site for this product, but the wifi connection is not available. It is not even appear in the network manager or to the manage devices under network adapters, the only network that is Realtek PCI. So I can connect through the ethernet cable and use internet but I can not use wifi, can't even see my wifi device. Not sure if I need to activate the wifi somehow because on my keyboard it has no wifi icon at all. I checked the manual and there is no mention about wifi key. The F12 key, there is only the airplane mode which does not work, if I press it separately or with the FN, he does nothing. Other FN keys work well and I reinstalled the driver of QUcikButton as well.
  So my question is: How can I activate wifi {assuming that there is a key for activation of it} or what driver should I install so I can even see the network wifi device? Please help I'm desperate groing

  Troubleshooting steps: I tried to install several drivers from the Ralink site and 802. 11B drivers which is suppose to be the wifi device I have on this machine. Also tried several reboots laptop. I also tried searching google and went through a lot of topics here, but never found same problem or a solution to my problem. Would be grateful for any advice, thanks.

  My wireless home does not appear on as a network available on my work laptop and always did before.  He brings up and connect on my laptop. I have a Linksys broadband router - summer use it for at least two years with no problems until this.  I know that my wireless works on my laptop because there is an unsecured network listed in the available window.

  A really strange thing that happened two weeks ago (and I don't know if it's related) was my personal laptop was fine during several hours - then he kept abandonment of the internet connection.  I couldn't keep him connected - reboot etc didn't work.  I've not logged again until today - and that's what I use now.  He connected very well today.

  My work laptop had been connected to my wireless ealier in the week, but when I tried to connect as usual Thursday night he has not logged automatically as it has always done in the past.  Nothing has changed.  Security patches that my company had sent through this week have not downloaded until after that I tried to connect and couldn't.  There is nothing new - he had no reason to think I should not have automatically connected as I have in the past.

  I just got a new Photosmart Plus B209 because my old 4580 died. I had the old printer put in place for the wireless connection, but the new Photosmart told me that the network is unavailable.   I had trouble not getting no connection with WiFi, after weeks of allsorts following advice on forums etc, I found that the Wireless Pan DHCP Server does not start with error: Static Interfaces/Listening Ports is not available. my understanding is that the ports UDP 67/68, but when I run a Netstat I don't see them in the list. I checked windows firewall and they seem to be set to DHCP.

  Here, you are supposed to see detailed information on your Wifi connection.
  Important addresses are:
  Address IPv4 - e.g. 192.168.1.2
  IPv4 subnet mask - should be 255.225.255.0
  IPv4 gateway - is the one who seems to have difficulty - should look like 192.168.1.1 (but may be completely different), but must be the same 3 first issues that the "IPv4 address" in my example 192.168.1.
