P036TX Ralink Wireless is not available

Dear users. I just bought a new HP laptop p036TX, but I can't get wifi to work. I installed all the drivers and updates available to your Web site for this product, but the wifi connection is not available. It is not even appear in the network manager or to the manage devices under network adapters, the only network that is Realtek PCI. So I can connect through the ethernet cable and use internet but I can not use wifi, can't even see my wifi device. Not sure if I need to activate the wifi somehow because on my keyboard it has no wifi icon at all. I checked the manual and there is no mention about wifi key. The F12 key, there is only the airplane mode which does not work, if I press it separately or with the FN, he does nothing. Other FN keys work well and I reinstalled the driver of QUcikButton as well.
So my question is: How can I activate wifi {assuming that there is a key for activation of it} or what driver should I install so I can even see the network wifi device? Please help I'm desperate groing

Troubleshooting steps: I tried to install several drivers from the Ralink site and 802. 11B drivers which is suppose to be the wifi device I have on this machine. Also tried several reboots laptop. I also tried searching google and went through a lot of topics here, but never found same problem or a solution to my problem. Would be grateful for any advice, thanks.

I don't know exactly what card ralink I have because I do not see in the devices

  • Photosmart Plus B209 wireless connection not available

    Hello

I just got a new Photosmart Plus B209 because my old 4580 died. I had the old printer put in place for the wireless connection, but the new Photosmart told me that the network is unavailable. When I press help he told me to make sure that there is no connection and to check for interference. Well, there are none. Printer and router are almost side by side. I used the HP set up guide and he tells me that the network is not available (which it isn't because otherwise I wouldn't be able to write this online).

    I use a MacBook with a Timecapsule 10.5.8 and a cable modem D-link.

Yes, the workaround is a bit tedious, but it works.  If you have another router (standard), we all connect to one and use WPS.

In any case, let's try this:

    1. on the front of the printer: Setup > Wireless > default settings.

    2. on your look of computer for a wireless called "hpsetup".  Connect you to it.

    3. print a network Test Wireless in the menu of the wireless printer.  Get the IP address of the printer.

    4. type the IP address of the printer in the web browser address bar.  You should see the page in the printer settings.

    5. click on the network tab, and then start the wireless configuration wizard.  Follow the instructions.

    6. when the printer is connected to your wifi, re - connect your computer to your wifi and add the printer in system preferences > print & scan (click the sign '+' to add the printer).

  • Wireless connection not available in CP?

    Hello

I apologize in advance for asking, but I can't find an answer in the knowledge base.

I did a clean install on a new HD in Win7x64. The old HD was Win7x32, and I have been trading in and out of the connector on the drive C: to perform troubleshooting and other tasks. The old HD OS connects to the internet via my router wireless without fault (that is, there is no hardware problem). I can also open the tab "set up a new connection" / "connect to the internet" and find choices both broadband and wireless. However, in the new installation of the OS, I find that the option high speed. I have updated the adapter wireless for the same driver & rebooted without change. What else might work?

    Solution:

There is no wireless adapters installed - only wireless device controller. After downloading & installation original owner Lenovo WLAN adapt, it worked. No idea why Win7x64 includes not an adapter, what with thousands of functions, programs and updates - appears as a FAIRLY BASIC ELEMENT, since you can't do any update or troubleshoot offline more. And no clue as to what's missing...: /

    PS I uninstalled free config

    Hello

As much as I know ConfigFree has no influence on the WLAN functionality because this utility is created for monitoring and not for configuration. When you want to use the WLAN connection do not forget that the wireless network adapter is correctly activated. If the connection is untied time trying to WLAN driver update.

  • Portege R700 - 18Q - not available wireless adapter

    Hello!

We have a Portege R700 - 18Q, bought about 5-6 weeks ago. It has installed at the factory Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (Portuguese language), we installed some applications only, we need here and has been added to a domain of Ms. Nothing unusual.

Everything worked fine until a week or so, when the wireless adapter has disappeared from Windows. When I mean disappeared, I want to say the only reference I find is in system information, sub components-> network-> adapter, it shows in the list as "Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6200 AGN", the adapter type is 'Not available' and the installed part said '' Yes. '' When I press Fn + F8, he talks not of WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G WAN.

I have checked all the configuration and software for references to the adapter. It does not show in the Device Manager, even not with hidden power devices. When I opened the profile definitions in Toshiba ConfigFree, it shows that the wire is not available. When I went to add/remove programs, I can't find a refernce to a driver for this card. The LED near the trackpad is yellow.

I'm not an expert in Windows but I've dealt with Windows for a long time and I've usually managed to any installation/configuration of repair material. It left me speechless. It is a last resort before you send the laptop for repair.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cordially, Ricardo

I have a Toshiba Satellite A30-104 with an inprocomm ipn2220 built in wireless card. The problem I'm having is that when I get a network says its not available and asks me to turn it on.

The driver is installed for the card, the switch for the wireless is set on you and I pressed FN & F8 and yet led remains off and nothing happens.
I watched autour and seen that some people cover the terminals 11 and 13 and it works but not too sure.

I also should this problem with a new card or is there a way to fix this?

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hello

I guess that you upgraded the wireless lan card later, didn t you? I know that 11 + 13 pins hint and it worked, but after awhile the card did not and the connection quality was so poor that I bought a card atheros on ebay and this card works really well. So I suggest that you are looking for a card atheros on ebay and to install such card in your system since the cards are known to work properly in the toshiba machines.

  • "Default gateway not available" when you connect to a wireless network

Why can't my computer connect to the internet wirelessly? I diagnose the problem and he told me that the default gateway is not available. I do everytime I turn on my computer and it does while I use it sometimes too. I made sure it wasn't the router; I have reset and turned it off and everything that has recently obtained another supplier of the internet with a new router and it has the same problem.

Could you do a few steps to see if communication with your router is OK?

I assume that you are connected to your wifi router, but it lacks the gateway address.
    1. go in Control Panel (click on the windows logo and choose Control Panel)
    2. in control panel, click on network sharing Center
    3. in the network sharing Center, click on wireless network connection
    4. in the State of the wireless connection, click details...
Here, you are supposed to see detailed information on your Wifi connection.
    Important addresses are:
    Address IPv4 - e.g. 192.168.1.2
    IPv4 subnet mask - should be 255.225.255.0
IPv4 gateway - is the one who seems to have difficulty - should look like 192.168.1.1 (but may be completely different), but must be the same 3 first issues that the "IPv4 address" in my example 192.168.1.

  • RALink wireless LAN 802.11n card and my WIN 8 64 bit PC error Code 31: no driver updates available

22/12/2012 bought ASUS CM6780 PC running 64-bit. RALink Wireless LAN crashed my system twice in 10 months. ASUS support allows only a "System Restore" which means you start from scratch with ALL your programs, updates etc etc.
I get the error code indicating 'Bad Image' with several pop-up window for what I am running, and the Ralink Lan has an error code 31 showing Windows cannot update.
I have my 1 year warranty AND a 3 year warranty, I purchased in addition to this, but the ASUS support is lame. Only help to restore the system not to find a real solution, and when I ask a new LAN card, they do not respond.
Is this a problem with updates of Windows or Ralink?
Please advise, downtime for each episode runs more than 24 hours, restore my programs and update everything. I'm ready to trash or sell it!

Send the minidump to analyze what is causing the BSOD,

This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).  So install the Ralink wireless driver.

  • Network accounts are not available

    Hello

I work in a corporate environment that is mainly based on Windows, but also have a handful of Macs and a Mac server. The question I have is that the MacBook display the prompt "network accounts are not available" when connecting. This message disappears when the VLAN from requiring authentication on our firewall device, MACs are to be excluded.

I thought my our support company firewall that Macs are a kind of test at startup. If they do not have full access to internet NETWORK card wireless goes into a State of semi functioning. It is only when they have access to the internet it goes into a fully operational.

It makes sense when the "network accounts are unavailable" message, I can't SSH in the Mac, but can't ping the IP addresses of our DC, ping any name FULL domain or ping any device outside the VIRTUAL LAN. Does exactly the same as this -after-reboot-no-route-to-host http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/231290/mac-unable-to-login-network-user

Our company firewall just remember exactly what service performs this function on the Mac. Anyone know what it's called?

    Kind regards

    Any help here...

    http://osxdaily.com/2007/01/22/what-happens-in-the-Mac-OS-x-boot-process/

During his execution, rc.boot and the other rc source of scripts /etc/rc.common , a shellscript that contains utility functions, such as CheckForNetwork() (check if the network is in place), GetPID() , purgedir() (Directory deletes the content only, not the structure), etc.

    • rc.bootfigures on the startup type (Multi-User, Safe, CD-ROM, network etc.). In the case of a network boot (the sysctl variable kern.netboot has the value 1 in this case), it works /etc/rc.netboot with a start argument.

/etc/rc.netbootmanages all aspects of the network boot. For example, it runs the network and (as applicable) supports the. It also calls /usr/bin/nbst to associate a file of the shadow in the image of disk used as a root device. The idea is to redirect the entries in the file of the shadow, which hopefully is local storage.

    • rc.bootnumbers if a file system consistency check is necessary. Boots single user and CD-ROM does not run fsck. SafeBoot is still running fsck. rc.bootmanages fsck and return status.
    • If rc.boot has finished successfully./etc/rc
