Wireless satellite L30 - receive errors

Connecting to the wireless network an IP address is never achieved.

Using statistics to Atheros Client Utility Diagnostics\Advanced I see that all the received tags are wrong with a constant number of CRC.

Services without wire is fine and the other PC sitting beside this works great on the Wi - Fi connection, so I'm assuming wireless itself is ok.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Hello

I don t know the exact solution, but I recommend checking out these tips:

-try to update the Wlan driver
-use the Atheros client utility or only own WLan Windows configuration option
-disable encryption of WLan and try to connect without security settings
-Check if the internal Wlan card supports the options of the router encryption (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.)
-Check if the standard WLan 802.11 A, B, G are supported by the local network and router card

    Hello

I have a Satellite L30 - 10Y ^ months ago I walking the RAM 1.5 GB by adding a card of 1 GB of RAM in the 512 MB card provided it worked well.
I also have walking my son Hi-Grade lapto with exactly the same specifications of RAM that worked well also. So I decided to grade until my L30 10Y with another card of the same specification to bring it up to 2 GB as specified by TOSHIBA.

I booted the computer to find Hay presto after the message following the start screen appears * "_the file is possibly corrupted.
The file header checksum does not match the calculated checksum_ "* the computer then froze and I turned it off."

Controls, I did tried two cards into the two slots without change, 1 card in both slots (an empty) works very well. Other card in the two sons of slots (works Fine) the two card slots in my computer (works very well) all three cards and 512 MB card in the configuration of the slots and cards (works fine). The three cards 1 GB in all configerations cards and slots to the error message and other times 1 long beep and 2 short.
Yes, the cards have been installed correctly. Impossible to change something to do with the BIOS, even though it may be accssed. Cannot run dvd player although I can select.

I went back to 1.5 GB and reinstalled all OS the drive recovery Toshiba try all over again the same results. Running windows Vista Edition family Basic, Bios is the last download. RAM is compatible. Cheep Hi-Grade son accepts that all RAM in all Configurations without sentence windows XP operating system.

Can anyone think of anything either, I have not tried, or I just have to go and by a Hi-grade computer?

    Hello

I read your announcement carefully, and it seems that you have checked that everything what is possible
So in my opinion the two ram modules are not compatible set
It's the only plausible explanation for this problem.

    AFAIK the L30 - 10Y needs DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM modules.

Finally the short beeps are coming from the BIOS and it means that the error has been detected.

    Hello

I had the same question that I've updated couldn t of the BIOS. The solution to my problem was very easy: you need to extract all files from zip archive, and then start the update. So extract all files to a new directory and try to start the update.

    I hope that helps! ;)

    Hello

go to Device Manager and check if there is a yellow question mark shown there. Also, read this article how to determine, unknown device, peripheral position, or the id of the provider.

  • Satellite L30-106: Power Saver 0x7E error

    Hi all
I own a Toshiba Satellite L30-106. I got it from Windows Vista to Windows XP pro, I installed all the Xp drivers provided by the Toshiba site.

Everything is going well except for the Toshiba Power Saver utility, I can't install it, it still gives this error: error Power Saver 0x7E. Same thing happens when I want to uninstall it. How can I solve this problem?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I hope that you have installed the power saver right!
The laptop is one of the series PSL33E. Therefore, you should choose the drivers and tools for this series!

In addition it is very important to install the driver Toshiba and utilities in the right order!
Then open the installation instructions and follow the lines of this guide!

Please make sure that you have already installed "TOSHIBA common Modules or / and TOSHIBA Hotkey Utility" ahead!

  • Satellite L30 - how to open the Wireless card slot to upgrade the Wlan card

Y at - it a special way to open the card slot on a Satellite L30 wireless or should I just use a USB adapter wireless... because the crack is there but I can't open it and USB we're boring.

    Thanks for the help...

    GMC

There is no special way. Just 2 screws...
So, if you have a wireless mini-pci network card, then you can open the lid, insert it and use it. But be sure to unscrew the screw more than necessary. :)

And if you´re not able to open it, then you will need to use your boring usb adapter. ;)

  • Re: Need Satellite L30 - 105 Vista - power calibration error - new firmware

    Hey guys =)

Ive got a Satellite L30-105 running a Vista 32 bit. And even if I try several different (Imageburn, Nero) burning software, and with the TDK - CD, I get an error in the burning software, saying "power calibration error".

    Satellite L30 - 105 (item number PSL33E-02S026N5), use a cd/dvd burner called MAST * a DVD-RAM UJ-850 s

I wonder, can I download and install new drivers for my dvd player?

I will also try to buy this "cleaning-cd", to try to clean the lens. cause I bought the laptop in 2007... then her grandmother as...

But you guys don't have any what could be bad? Is it expensive to get a new cd/dvd drive for this laptop?

    Bravo and thank you!

    Hello

Power calibration error means that the laser ODD lens cannot calibrate in the right position.
Generally this has nothing to do with a firmware of drive but with the problem of equipment.

In most cases, the CD/DVD drive must be replaced.

I'm not sure how a new CD/DVD drive could be but the fact is that you cannot use any CD/DVD drive
You need a compatible and such disc compatible and taken in charge could be ordered in a local ASP.

    welcome them

  • DVD writing error Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ-850 s on Satellite L30-113

    I have Toshiba Satellite L30-113 psl33 with Mat * a DVD - RAM UJ - 850 s. operating system is Windows XP SP2.

This drive read and write CDs, play DVDs, but don't write DVD the last time.
After inserting DVD the status of the device in 'My computer' change to 'DVD RAM' on 'CD RAM.
After the attempt to write, the errors are "Gage power error" and "not full disk at a time.

Writing at the beginning of the DVD is OK.

In your opinion, is it soft or hard error?
Must I update DVD-driver or the replacement of the DVD player?

    Hello

    > I need I update DVD-driver or the replacement of the DVD player?
Usually the ODD driver is part of the Windows operating system.
Windows uses the internal Microsoft driver that controls the ODD.

In any case, the European driver Toshiba page contains a DVD - RAM driver. This driver gives you more support for your DVD RAM drive.
I m not very good if it will help you, but try to reinstall and check if the drive will be CD - RAM DVD-RAM

Can anyone help please? I have a satellite L30 & out of no where it does not start

but all I get is the message below. I also tried a system restore, but nothing.

    then

    status Oxc0000e9
Info unexpected i/o error has occurred

    Thank you all
    Mark

In my opinion, the HARD drive is certainly the reason why the laptop tries to boot from LAN.
Yes, the laptop computer tries to boot from LAN and, therefore, the error message (PXE - E61: media test failure, check cable) is displayed.

I think that a HARD drive replacement and the new installation of the OS will help you solve this problem.

disks of backup creation for a toshiba satellite receive error code error zzimages\zzimages\preinst.swm 020150-20-00000000 will help what I do

    Hi jaygoldstein,

    ·          What program you use to create backup discs?

If you try to create backup discs using software created by Toshiba, I suggest that you post your question in the forums of Toshiba.

  • Receive error message: ": windows cannot configure this wireless connection if you have enabled another program to configure this wireless connection, use that software."

    Internet connection xp

I am running windows xp sp3 on my laptop. After a restart of the internet connection (wireless failed). try to connect to the wireless network has this error
": windows cannot configure this wireless connection if you have enabled another program to configure this wireless connection, use that software."
It's a toshiba n205.  When I right click on the wireless network printer it says that it is the firewall disabled. so I'm going to allow it and it still does not work. I don't understand because it seems that the firewall was working aok before restarting. I change all of the settings.

I solved this problem by changing the setting to allow windows to establish the network connection, I guess it is made by toshiba software. If anyone knows WHY this would be the case, why all of a sudden we would lose the connection, would be useful.

  • Satellite L30 - 11 d ot powered

My Satellite L30 - 11 d seems to have stopped working.

Monday I was happily playing call of duty on a WiFi Lan connection with no problems, I turned off the laptop and went to bed.

Less than 24 hours later than the laptop will not power. The green power LED lights up, the fan starts to turn, and then... NOTHING.

It seems that it tries to start, but don't know where to start from. Battery is fully charged, and the problem arises on food and energy from the battery.

I think that the BIOS backup battery is the more serious problem or has ceased to operate.

The laptop is only 2 years old.

    > It seems that it tries to start, but don't know where to start from.
If the laptop would not be able to find a BONE or a source of startup then you will receive an error message.
But in your case it is nothing on the screen so I guess there must be another problem.

In your case I would recommend you to unplug the AC adapter and remove the battery.
Then wait for about 40 min to 1 hour and reconnect the two parts and try to turn on the laptop.

If this will not help so I have to be a serious hardware problem and in this case, the laptop must be verified by ASP.

  • Satellite L30-PSL33 does not illuminate after hibernation

    Hello

as I said in my previous post, I also have a problem with the Hibernate. The thing is that when I leave to transform a hibernation on this more later sometimes not loading Windows - the load bar coming to an end and then it stops 'thought' so I have to stop it and start it...

The operating system is Win Xp Pro SP2 on Toshiba Satellite L30-PSL33. For example, it loads Windows hibernation 2 or 3 times, and then after that it will not load the operating system.

Please give me an advice how to fix this...

    Thank you

It's not easy to say what s may be wrong because like you say so this problem happens sometimes and that's why he of not easy to reproduce this error.

I m an owner of a Sat L30. I use Vista on my L30 and received no similar problem.
I talked to some people, and also read on some sites Internet computer that this error could be related software.
One question; what OS came preinstalled on this notebook; XP or Vista?

Maybe you have updated the operating system on your laptop to the last State.
Please also check if the third-party programs 3rd n t assigned the wrong operating system.
