Wireless sensor

Good afternoon

my pc is connected to a wireless network, how do I get the status of this connection in labview?

Here, it is saved to 8.2.  Earlier I can save wireless cluster error stupid break.  If you need an earlier version, you will probably need to go to the Council of conversion of version, that I can't easily get additional return without installed an older version of LV

    Hi alioscia,.

For all of these measures, you probably better off using an NI WSN-3226 if you want to measure all parameters in one place. You can use a shunt resistor and apply the Ohm's law to calculate the measure 4-20mA.

  • video capture according to the movement in labview wireless sensor

    Hello

I'm new to labview and this forum NOR so fundamentally new to everything and I would sound like if I ask stupid questions.

It's my highlight of last year project, while I need to capture video motion detor wirelss response using labview. Then how I would go to this topic.

    Hello

In order to be 'Wireless' with a camera, you must use a GigE Vision camera attached to a wireless router. Technically, you can do anything with the camera and eliminate the motion detector. You can permanently acquire images and compare them to detect movement. The result of the comparison would then determine if you have registered for a period determined or not.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n Wireless - sensor defective yellow cartridge - how to print black only?

Product is 5 years.  Error message indicates that the yellow cartridge seems to be missing.  Cannot be resolved after several cleanings of sensor and the sensor window. Powered / disable several times including corkscrew. A tried a new yellow cartridge (not a recharged one used).  Shot all the cartridges, cleaned, open/closed status of the printer, lifted/lowered the gray lever of the print head.  Could not find a way to print in black only if possible.  The cost of a new printer is roughly the same Technical Support help (out of warranty).  Any thoughts on how to fix (other than buying a new printer - unless it's time)?  Thank you in advance.

Figured it out.  I missed some parts of the print head cleaning.  Solved.

  • labView send data wireless node for the excel file

    Hi all

I used the basic tutorial for the network of wireless sensors OR. http://www.ni.com/tutorial/8890/en/. I finished it with a single node. The next phase of my project is to send the data from the node and the date and time in an excel file every hour. Is there any advice I can get to at least send the date and the data in the excel file? I'm using labView in 2012

I change, because I put the text instead of excel file

You cannot connect a scalar to the entry level that is needed. A solution would be to insert a table to build before the writing on the worksheet.

Hi SydsMom, welcome to the Forums of HP. If a product contains the necessary built in the RT drivers, he just needs to be plugged and RT Windows should recognize and install it.

I did a search for "HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dw Laser printer" with the: Windows Compatibility Centerand it's Windows RT 8.1 compatible.

Microsoft provides these simple instructions: install a printer in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1

  • Portege Z30T-cannot install drivers LTE

    I recently bought a new PORTEGE Z30T-A PT24CE-01600EN5
updated to Version Microsoft Windows OS 8.1 Pro 6.3.9600 with its CD.

I noticed today my connection LTE / 4G dropped several times and it was fixed when I restarted Windows, but then the LTE adapter deletes completely himself and connection
    .
Whenever the connection drops, I check the Device Manager and there is no LTE device more so I have to restart again. And when he finds that he is the "generic mobile broadband adapt" not Sierrea.

I go to Device Manager under network adapters---> EM7305 here for this device that is LTE the driver provider is displayed as Microsoft with the 6.3.9600 version 16453 dating from October 31, 13.

    Then I downloaded the driver LTE Sirerra from TOSHIBA Web site, here's what they recommend: [driver LTE | https://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 4 & selSeries = 362 & selProduct = 17899 & STAS hortMod = 4655 & language = 13 & selOS = 46 & selType = 438 & upload year = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = a he's & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = 438 & page = 1 & ID = 90092 & OS ID = 46 & driverLanguage = 42].

I've installed several times but nothing changes, always driver of Microsoft it.
Sierra is displayed as "Location Siearra wireless sensor" but not under network adapters.

A little this driver deleted and moved no more.
This seems to be a driver problem. Someone at - it a similar problem?
Configure the laptop, it took me a week; I really don't want to use recovery each time without understanding why.

It seems that, up to now in this forum no one has reported that emits a similar LTE pilot.
The question is: the same issue has been published in the factory system pre-installed?

I guess you can't provide the answer to this question and so we cannot say with certainty that this material related question isn t.

In any case, on the page of the Toshiba UE driver you can find a lot of drivers and tools of Toshiba for this device. All the tools and software as well as the BIOS should be updated to the last State. Check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS.
Then I recommend you to install the driver manually through the Device Manager.

The driver package that you downloaded from the Toshiba driver page is compressed. You must decompress the package. Inside of this package, you will also find and the exe file. It is also a zipped package. Right click on this package and unpack the exe file.

Now you should see all the driver files and should be able to install the driver through Device Manager by using the Advanced installation procedure.

If some specific models can operate with the remote control then you will he obtained with your computer laptop and laptop will have onboard wireless sensor.

You are 100% sure that your laptop is such distance sensor on board? I don't think so.

  • WSN-3212 or NI WSN 3202 when loaded with VI target with

WSN-3212 or NI WSN 3202 when loaded with a new firmware using option "Add LABView WSN target", cannot re connect with the gateway ethernet OR WSN - 9791. In MAX, the quality of the link state is "lost Signal".

Basically, I tried to change the sampling in the sample interval ""case structure, then built the VI and deployed on two WSN nodes. Please help in this regard.

    Hello binarystar105,

When you have downloaded the new firmware, did you follow the steps described in this article?

How to upgrade the Firmware on my NI WSN gateway?

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/CF6241F5F849FC7086257909008327C5?OpenDocument

Also, what version of firmware you currently have?

  • WSN and PTC

These wireless sensors are great and now I am trying to find different application uses for them. Is is possible to get the sensors using the touch panels... more precisely the TPC-2106

    Thank you

    Hi JChec,

I'm glad you like the new WSN measurement nodes.

Yes, you can access the IO of WSN on a TCP. The I/O variables that are used to I/O read/write are supported on Windows CE and Windows XPe.

The only thing that probably will not work on Windows CE are the screws to host WSN, which are used to send and receive messages from the string-based user. If you need support for this or other advanced features of LabVIEW, the most recent PPV running XPe pretty much full desktop offers support for LabVIEW.

What do you use WSN nodes for currently?

  • Wsn OR programmable nodes using the nesC?

Anyone, please can you me if wireless sensors networks OR be programmed using the NesC (small BONE)? If so, how?

    Hi cranian.

No, as you say, NesC is used to program WSN nodes running TinyOS. NI WSN nodes are not running TinyOS, but a picture of the firmware optimized for measurements and autonomy in the long term.

By using LabVIEW WSN, you can customize this personality to add the decision-making and analysis. Read this white paper: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/9006

If you have existing algorithms, written in C, you can place your C code directly in line with your LabVIEW code.

  • WSN NI 9792 safety 1.2: initial configuration? By default the username and password?

    Hello

With NI WSN 1.1, using a 9792, I can click on the button set the permissions, and if none had been defined would simply ask me a new administrator password.  Now with NI WSN 1.2, when I click on the button set the permissions he takes me to the web interface of the 9792 and said "nobody is connected or you don't have permissions to view/edit users, groups, and permissions.»  When I click on the "connect" button, a box opens and asks me a username and password.  I scoured the notes version of the help files and the internet, and it seems there is NO documentation on how to set up the first name of username/password combination, or it indicates what combination of username/password default username there might be.  I also tried a brand new 9792 straight out of the box and load of 1.2 to this subject and it has the same problem.  Is there something obvious that I'm missing?  How a person initially configure security on the 9792?

    Hello, Garrett,.

    Thanks for your post!

Looks like you're having need for information on how to find the information of your 9792 newspaper. When you use NEITHER-WSN 1.1 allowed us users to define the initial password and this is still the case for the 9791. The 9792 is a gateway OR WSN node and a target time LabVIEW Real-time. Its default log in information or lie in a (KB) Knowledge Base using LabVIEW or helping MAX. You use LabVIEW 2009 SP1 or LabVIEW 2010?

The default name of the user and the password is the following:

    user name: admin

    password:

    KO

By default the username and password for the newspaper in a real-time controller

  • What is the best method to implement the communication client-server TCP/IP of multiples?

I want to make a customer network and multiple server using the TCP/IP protocol.

I have 30 remote wireless sensors to send data to a server with LabView.  This problem is corrected.

The server has a router that communicates with the sensors and is connected to the PC via cable net.

I want to find the way the most effective communication from the point of view of resources and, above all, the response speed of the system, because I want to update the screen as quickly as possible, to send more data per second of the sensors.

I think I have (only?) two options:

(* 1) open 30 simultaneous ports and process them in parallel to decode and display the data from each sensor.
(* 2) using two loops: one to listen to new connections and the other to take the floor, placing them in the 'tail' and decoding and then each of them separately in order to display the data from each sensor. See http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3982/en/

NOTE: at the moment I have only 4 sensors tested with method 1: it takes about 3 minutes to establish communication (why?), and then it works properly.

What method would you recommend? Why?

    Thank you all in advance!

I assume you mean to "Start Asynchronous Call. Which has been added to LV2011. If you are using an older version the method I posted above works fine. In fact, we always use this VI (Manager Spawn of connection, which is the one we wrote) in LV 2011 and 2012 LV.

In fact I posted this library recently. You can find the code here. That the code implements a queue-based network. You can watch as an example of a server that generates handlers for each client that connects.

  • With the help of a shunt in 3, 3V application milliohm resistance.

I'm measuring low currents in an application by using a USB6009 wireless sensors.

I expect in normal operation of the device-2uA and successfully measured on the lower part of the appliance with a 250 Ohm resistor.

It was with a USB6008. Now, we would like to use a calibrated shunt standard (.001ohm) and a USB6009 to get data more closely the case of actual use being able to see

150 - 350 ms transitions of the circuit detector field cycling on and outside (necessary to the higher sampling frequency) and we hope to see real activity not to have several millaohm draw to a 250 ohm shunt.

The noise of the 6009 certainly .5mv in the 1V range. I thought, (perhaps wrongly) I could accurately see microvolt voltage level data with a system of differential.

First of all, maybe, that's my problem. My experiement is below.

I have a resistance level of shunt.001 http://www.rc-electronics-usa.com/current-shunt.html ohm (series)

In my first experiement, I had the device (powered by 3, 3V CR232) with the current shunt close the low side of the battery, terminals attached to AL0(+-)

The dynamic range of the measurement was set at 800nA to 10uA

I then see millavolt noise on the weather of the line that the shunt is not connected or not, basically no data.

I then tried with 1.5Kohm resistance pulling on lines AL0(+-) to a GND contact on the 6009. Same result.

Then, I took a laboratory known to 5V power supply and attached a resistance in series with the shunt 1.5Kohm. AL0(+-) through the shunt.

I figured I'd see 3.33... AU on shunt in this configuration, but the saw just le.300 mV ripple on the line which is a much higher current than it should be.

Recommendations on the conduct of these small current measruments? I think buying a TI SOIC or someone might be a good solution / or just a simple old op amp for this tension.

I know that there are amps op there specifically for the current shunts.  I'm sure that TI has good as well as Analog Devices.
