  Wireless network adapter appears under control panel, but I can't get the light to come on the front by FN and F8, of the any or others 101 things I tried thorugh etc. Device Manager - I'm sure that there is an easy way, but I can't find it and lose the heart! Can someone offer me some ideas?

  If so please have them step by step so I can make sure I don't miss anything.

  I have a HP OfficeJet 8600plus N911a CM749A # product who has problems in this impossible to print wireless to wireless using an access point but Wired print (pc) wireless technology is fine. We have 4 pcs in a network cable that work very well try to print to the printer which is connected wireless. They installed the software and discovered the printer very well. When you try to install the printer on a Win8 Tablet and a laptop Win7 that neither would discover the printer, so I have two devices connected by ethernet cable and ran the facilities in the same way as the PC and installed everything and worked fine. But, after I disconnected the wire and reconnected or the other device wireless again (they go OK so I know that they get an address) when I go to print to the 8600 it says there is no communication to the printer. BTW, I can install (and installed) other (cable) HP printers on the network as the computer laptop and Tablet AUTODECOUVERTS and print... Yes, ideas on why it loses its Wireless communication to the wireless printer. He turns a few odd Protocol or discovered that did not pass on a wireless system?

  Thank you for answering my question and I wanted to know was the brand of the router.  I suggest making sure the router firmware is up to date as well.

• Problems authenticating using WPA/TKIP with AT & T 2wire router

  I have problems trying to authenticate on AT & T 2WIRE router. Before, I was using a Linksys router on Comcast and had no problems, but after switching to AT & T and their equipment, my computer vista no will authenticate not. I don't get an other error message that Windows could not connect to the network. I have a Windows 7 box, Epson wireless printer and XBox which can connect without a problem. It's just that Vista machine which does not connect.

  I tried to update the wireless network card drivers, I restored the computer to factory settings, I tried everything. I had success when I step down to WEP security, but it's not the level of security that I want to keep. The real odd part is that it has worked well with Comcast and Linksys but not with the 2WIRE router.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  We do not recommend the use of WEP. WPA or WPA2 are more secure. If you try WPA or WPA2 and they do not work, we recommend that you upgrade your network card to those who work with WPA or WPA2.

  I always got WiFi printers in my house and never had to deal with this problem personally, but the following CNET article seems to answer this question:

  My printer is a HP OfficeJet 7500 E910, which allows me to print from any wireless device and my printer is plugged only the power source.

  Also, I did not read the entire article carefully, but I would venture to say that if you have a cable to connect your printer to your wireless router, it should appear as a network printer. If your iPhone is connected to the same wireless network as the router is mounted, you should have this success. It would still be printing wireless from your iPhone, but just a different configuration.

  I understand you want to transfer your photo from your memory card on your computer using the printer, but at the moment, you are not able to.
  
  
  
  Here is an overview of the steps required to make this work:
  
  
  
  Map the network drive
  
  (1) turn on the product and make sure that it is connected to the network.
  
  (2) Insert the memory card into the slot of the player card on the product.
  
  (3) find the host name (network name) from the network configuration page.
  
  "Printing a Network Setup Page"
  
  (4) on the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, right-click computer, and then click on map network drive.
  
  
  
  A network drive opens.
  
  (1) in the drop-down list player, select an available drive letter.
  
  (2) find the hostname from the network configuration page. In the folder field, type (without the brackets):
  
  \\(The Host Name You found previously in Step 3) \Memory_Card
  
  NOTE: Do not use the Browse button, or mapping may fail.
  
  (3) check box to reconnect to the opening if it is not checked.
  
  4) click Finish.
  
  Now, the network drive is mapped.
  
  
  
  Access the files on the memory card
  
  (1) the product must be on and connected to the network to access the files on the memory card.

  Hello Moor_lady, if you are using Windows 7, you can try to reset your printer wireless.

  Go to control panel of configuration, devices, and printer and in the menu bar above, select Add a printer in the lower option, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

  There should be another window that shows all available printers to be added. See if your wireless network printer can be found. If so, select this option and continue the process.
