With my HP Compaq DC7800 Convertible Minitowers audio driver problem

Hello

I'm having a problem of sound driver with my desktop HP Compaq DC7800 Convertible Minitowers.

A few days ago I formatted my desktop PC and installed a new Windows XP Service pack 3. Like I need driver for my device, I managed to find all the drivers except for my audio device. As I saw that I have integrated audio on my motherboard, but the drivers I found on a HP support site (download the drivers), none of them work and there are too many (I also need to download drivers for other devices form intel site but that's another question). So, now I was hoping someone can help me find (finally) and install peripheral audio, so I can finish with the installation process. I will be grateful for this veeeeeerrrry thanks in advance.

It does not matter. I found the driver that I needed: ADI high definition (HD Audio Driver - Sound Max)

thx anyway

HP Compaq dc7800 Convertible Minitowers (CZC7413306) and want to update the graphics card without much expense I have short listed two cards. NVIDIA GT 630 and the GT640 Nvidia.

One of these can receive free updates on the PC, IE PSUS?

There 4gig of RAM onboard and at present a 7600gs Nvidia who struggles with FSX and can't not watch run them more than I I'd like to run two monitors.

    Thanks for any answers

    Concerning

Thanks for the graphics card. It seems that they should work, but I still think there may be a problem with the amouint of the power supplied to the card in the slot of the ISDR - x 16.

It would still be useful to measure the power supply to see if an upgrade PSU will fit. An upgrade to a 450W Corsair or OCZ PSU will be not much ofexpense. When you consider what you have in the PC at this time is minimal, that would make it useful. In any case, these are my thoughts on this subject.   , Of course, it's your choice.

  • How to solve '1801 Microcode Update error' in HP Compaq dc7800 Convertible Minitowers

I have Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93 GHz. My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate x 64.

    Hello:

The E7500 processor is not supported in the dc7800, reason why you get the error of microcode.

Here is the list of supported processors.

    Intel Core 2 Duo processors:

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (2.20 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 (2.40 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 (2.6 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 (2.33 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 (2.53 GHz, 3 MB cache L2, FSB to 1066 MHz)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 (2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, L2 cache 3 MB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 (2.66 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8300 (2.83 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Inter Processor Core 2 Duo E8600 (3.33 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, bus front end to 1 333 MHz)

As a long shot, you can try to install the latest firmware update. You must use a bootable USB key with back files in order to run the flashbin.exe command after copying the microcode update files in your USB drive bootable.

I can't support dc7800 site. When you can, choose the 2010 v1.14 firmware update download

If you are unfamiliar with how to make a bootable flash drive, this is a good 'how' of the article with the files you need.

  • HP dc7800 Convertible Minitowers does not restart

I recently bought a used HP dc7800 Convertible Minitowers. It works fine, but there is a question I leave me puzzled: whenever I restart the computer through Windows, it will not start correctly. Sometimes it shows the HP splash screen and goes just a black screen, and sometimes it shows the HP splash screen and restarts repeatedly. What is more strange is that shut down the computer and put on still work manually, and the computer will boot normally.

    System information:

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33 GHz

    RAM: 6.00 GB Dual - Channel DDR2 @ 398 MHz (6-6-6-18)

    Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 0AACh (XU1 PROCESSOR)

HARD drive: 149GB Western Digital WDC WD1600AAJS-60B4A0 ATA Device (SATA)

I agree Rick, that may be the problem.

I don't see any BIOS date of issue (look under Vista) have nothing to do with Bitlocker or or boot up/reboot issues.

I don't have the latest BIOS installed 1.32 at the time.

I bought the PC used on eBay and the seller had put W7 Ultimate 32 bit on it without loading the drivers, etc. and just shipped.  Nor have I received any key disk or installation products.

I got such a lot of things on it and I didn't care what OS he had.

I wasn't going to let on in any case, because my plans were max out of the memory of 8 GB and install my copy of W7 Pro x 64.

In any case, I just tried but updated the BIOS to get W7 Ultimate to work normally (just to see if I could help all the other people who were stop and start loop question).

Everything I tried was unsuccessful.  And the thing is, some people dc7700/dc7800 ran very well with W7 Ultimate.

It was just a handful of us who could never make it work right.

My suggestion you Cinos, must abandon all hope to get to work and install W7 Pro or home (if you do not need to connect to a domain).

No one I know has reported to solve this issue.

  • HP Compaq dc7700p: how to fix '1801 Microcode Update error' HP Compaq dc7700p Convertible Minitowers

    Hello

I read and read this post for a few times and I'm not sure it will work on my PC so I have to ask, how to solve '1801 Microcode Update error' in HP Compaq dc7700p Convertible Minitowers I upgraded it with E7200 instead of the original E6300

Here is the product number: p/n RN120ET #UUZ

I am in a position to start and start windows, I don't know is that it works normally or not, I'm just bored with the startup message:

Please HELP and thank you in advance!

    Hello:

You must upgrade the BIOS to version to get rid of the error of microcode, and processor at half the speed of the FSB only works because the update of the BIOS was not written for the E7xxx processors work correctly.

You will need to run this software whenever you enter windows and change the multiplier up.

Or you can run this batch file listed on the bottom of Web page so that it runs automatically.

    http://CrystalMark.info/software/CrystalCPUID/index-e.html

If I were you, I just install an E6700 Conroe and have an update without problem.

You will need to use the BACK base flash because I don't think that there is an update of the BIOS written for W7.

  • Satellite L300 17L - audio driver problems

Audio driver problems, I use Windows XP SP2, I installed the MS patches, but still there is no sound.

And in the control panel in the sound section says that there is no audio driver installed.

    I need help please!

    Hello!

It s a known issue and when you search a bit in the forum you will find a large number of publications on this subject.

Remove the sound card from the Device Manager and the high definition Audio Controller from Device Manager.
And then update Windows with KB835221 & KB888111 patch, reboot several times, and then you can install the driver from Realtek but download and install Realtek driver directly.

    Good bye

  • Tecra 9100: Yamaha audio driver problem

    H

I've just formatted my hard drive and installed Windows XP Pro.

I ve installed all the latest drivers but I m in trouble with one. audio driver for the yamaha ac device.
I get the yellow mark next to him.
So I tried to uninstall, but when I reinstall I cannot start code 10.
It s the latest driver so I put t know what s causing the problem.

Can anyone shed any light on the subject, thanks rob

    Hello

The outcome is known for me.
The audio driver is simply not compatible with Win XP SP2

Yamaha AC - XG driver used the PortCls function to check the version of the operating system. XP Service Pack 1, PortCls function is changed, while the Yamaha rider cannot get operatingsystem version correctly. This problem also happens to Windows XP SP2.

    Yamaha already provides the fixed driver. The fixed driver version is the following;
    yacxg.sys 6.13.10.2152 with software synthesizer
    yacxgc.sys 6.13.10.3152 free software synthesizer

    Welcome them

  • Satellite A100-920 - Audio driver problem - Win XP Pro

    Hi all

I'm having a problem with audio driver. I can't seem to find one that works anywhere, I looked at several forums and the Toshiba site for drivers without success. I basically hit a wall, so I hope someone can provide a working solution. :)

    Audio device:
Feature: 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller
    Manufacturer: Intel

(Information retrieved using a Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD)

Although a windows system it labels as "Realtek High Definition Audio Controller"? (I'm not an expert with the drivers, so maybe this is a stupid question...) :)

The computer is a Toshiba Satellite A100-920 (PSAA9E) Windows XP Professional.

I spent hours trying to solve this problem, so I hope this is the last mile. :) Thanks to anyone with suggestions.

    Best regards
    Alan

You use Windows XP Home with SP2 or SP3?

  • Envy 17-n108tx: Realtek HD Audio driver problems

17-n108tx want my laptop is preinstalled with Windows 10 and have jumped several hoops for upgrading to Windows 7, I found myself with a minor problem...

When I first start up in Windows 7, I have no sound, and the light on the button mute on my keyboard no longer works.

When I try to 'test' output in the sound properties my device, I get the error "the device is used by another application. (edit: disabling the option "allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" does nothing to remedy).

If I disable and re-enable the "Realtek High Definition" Audio device then I suddenly audio again, but the light on the button mute remains broken.

If I choose instead to reinstall the audio driver (sp72117.exe), and then the two audio AND the mute button light work as expected - at least until the next reboot.

I have currently only SP1 is installed from Windows Update. I can go ahead and install all the other minor updates to see if any of them address this problem. During this time, but I would like to know if someone else might have a solution to this inconvenience. Having to reinstall the driver again and again is hardly a solution.

    Thank you

Finished installing any other Windows 7 update that helped my audio to work even after a restart, but the light on the button mute was still broken.

For anyone else who has a similar problem, this is how I fix (unless it breaks again in the next 24 hours):

    1. install SP1 and other updates. If it was not more than 140 of them, I could have tried to determine the exact KB.

2 uninstall the Realtek HD Audio device via Device Manager - do not forget to remove the pilot with him.

    3. Select Action-> Scan for hardware changes, Windows will install a generic audio driver.

    4. make a generic audio driver right click and select "Update driver software", then "Browse my computer for driver software".

5 find your "C:\SWsetup" folder and click Next. Windows should automatically install the appropriate driver files that sp72117.exe left to count.

I suspect that installing the driver manually, as opposed to allowing sp72117.exe to install it because the case. But I do not know for sure until I have reformat again in the distant future. Who knows, maybe I'll give 10 Windows another shot at that time.

  • Audio crash - IDT HD audio driver problem?

Audio crashes when you use it (going to basically just silent), even after the Reinstall driver (IDT HD Audio Driver). When restarting the PC, audio will work temporarily, and then down very quickly if there are several Chrome tablets with audio and also crashed by using only a single media player (Spotify). I have not received the error messages.  When this happens, I am also unable to change the level of average volume point-and-click and keyboard shortcuts.  I use a HP Envy laptop with 64-bit Windows 8.1

Through recommendations in previous posts, I had gone before my assignment. The diagnosis did not find any problems. Headphones also did not work. Volume settings and the speaker are correct. And re - install the driver did not work.

I did, however, decide to download and install certain optional Windows updates.  I use HP Support Assistant for automatic updates, but had not checked the optional updates in a few months (I think there are 4 available).  During these updates and reboot several times, the problem seems to be solved.

Thanks for getting back to me, if!

    Hello

    · The updates have been installed on the computer?

    · Who is the service pack installed?

  • Audio driver problem

I have a Toshiba Satellite U305-S7448.  About 75% of the time it starts, it does not load the sound driver and there is an adjacent X to the icon of the spear.  When you hover over the "speaker" icon, it sets up a message that says: "no Audio output device is installed".  I passed to the Toshiba support page and re downloaded the realtek audio driver.  No help.  An audio device does not yet appear on Device Manager.  Vista updates are up to date.  Now what?

Device Manager try and search for new devices.  If you do not, it could be a problem with the hardware itself.

  • N5110 Audio driver problem

    I have a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 (mid 2011) that runs Windows 8.1.1

Recently, after a refresh, I downloaded the drivers to install. The audio driver on the page N5110 (arrival with or without my service tag) says to extraction it is only compatible with m5040, n5040, m4040 models. Please provide the correct drivers for the right model.

Dell Inspiron 15R N5110 (mid 2011) that runs Windows 8.1.1

Hello. Dell does not support win 8.1 on the 15R model N5110. To see what I mean, go to the Inspiron 15R assistance page, click the drop-down list box operating system and you will see that only Windows 7 and 8 are supported.

I also checked the ftp server of Dell and confirmed that there is no 8.1 IDT audio driver available for your model.

You can find the IDT pilot in your laptop Device Manager in the sound... Category of controllers, right-click it, click Properties, click on the tab 'pilot' and select 'Rollback driver' to try to recover the previous driver you use.

Or install the audio driver IDT of Windows 8 for your model by using compatibility mode.

Or just do not try to use an IDT driver. Windows has its own generic native audio driver that will run the audio when there is no driver for the seller (IDT).
