• HP 6830: HP 6830 cannot communicate with printers

  wehenever I send you a print through my laptop, I get a dialog box indicating that the computer cannot communicate with the printer. (It's also seems to indicate a correction option that is not fix something).

  However, the print job is done perfectly.

  It dose not happen when an an email impression is made.

  How can I get rid of this dialog box?

  Can you try using a TCP/IP port?

  Creating a TCP IP port

  1. print a Configuration Page to get the printer IPv4 address (you can also tap on the icon wireless on the front panel of your printer to obtain the IP address)
  2. on your PC, go to the Panel control, devices and printers, right-click the printer and on the left, click printer properties, select the Ports tab.
  3. click Add Port, select the Port TCP/IP Standard, then New Port and follow the instructions in the wizard.
  4. Enter the IP address of the printer.

  I tried 4 different usb printers on my computer and none of them works. Windows detects the fine and installs all the drivers. But at the end it says that there is a problem cause the specified port is unknown. I finally contacted the printer company and they said it s only a problem with my computer cause it is no virtual usb port listed to select. How can I create a virtual USB port on the computer? I have all the drivers installed and functional usb including support of the usb printer. And they all say it works very well.

  I have a Surface of 2 Windows RT and am trying to put up with a printer HP CM1312nfi as an CM1415nfw printer (wireless).  I get an error message indicating that the application you are trying to execute is not supported on this version of windows.

  This mean that I can't print from the Surface to each printer, or is there a workaround?

  The RT of Windows version does not support most Windows programs.  I just checked my 2 surface, and it has a driver for the cm1415.

  Try the following: the type of start screen devices and printers.   Select the icon devices and printers.  FOM here, click Add a printer.  The RT will be search for printers on the network, it must find the cm1415 automatically and offer to install a driver.  If it does not click "the printer that I want isn't listed", and then click Windows Update in the lower right corner.

  I'm having some trouble with my DeskJet 1000 c on my home office network. It is currently connected to a PC running Vista Home Premium 32 - bit edition, with a parallel cable. It prints very well on the local computer and also of my MacBook Pro via the network when I boot into Windows XP Professional 32-bit. The problem comes when I try to print over the network from a PC running Vista Home Premium 64 - bit edition. When I do that, work quickly appears and disappears from the queue of the host machine. the printer keeps a piece of paper and wait with power light flashes but will not do anything else until another job is sent or the power is off. At this point, the tip sheet of paper is ejected and the printer supports future work of printer. If it's a local job or one of XP, it allows to print; If it's a network of Vista 64 work he advances another sheet of paper and wait.

One thing I noticed is that, after removal, some keys on my keyboard don't work, and I've read that other HP users encounter the same problem with the keys on the keyboard. The keys that seem to be affected are the keys that automatically open and close the door of the CD burner. Not a problem, because it is another way to open and close the drawer. It's one that HP must improve. In regards to your advice on the printer driver you have been 'right on' new! I reinstalled the driver using my own CD (not the latest driver, but one that works!) I think that the problem with the update of the Samsung driver that I downloaded from the Web site doesn't have some kind of problem. It is very unusual for a driver to Samsung, because I got excellent results with printers Samsung and free updates downloaded from their Web site.
