  Hi all I'm new to labview, I want to control the relay using USB-6008. could someone help me find valuable solution, because this is my final project mechanical engg. I need the electrical diagram and whether it is digital command also mention details of ports/lines I have to connect.

• With the help of USB-6009 with LabView 8.0

  I try to use a USB-6009 with LabView 8.0 box.  I DAQmx 8.8 (that came with the unit) installed and verified that the 6009 works correctly through MAX I also read on this site that the 6009 is compatible with LabView 7 or more.  However, I am unable to get LabView to recognize the device.  Using LabView, to use a DAQ hardware I have to select "Input" in the palette 'Functions'  But there is no range "Input".  Actually I can't find the DAQ Assistant Express VI anywhere.

  Do I need to use a different version of the DAQmx?  If so, which and where can I find it?

  LabVIEW 8.0 is not supported with DAQmx 8.8. I think that the last version with support for 8.0 is DAQmx 8.6.1. You can uninstall 8.8 and install 8.6.1. You should really consider upgrading your version of LabVIEW. NOR has decided to limit support for 7.1 8.0 just now. The latest version of DAQmx manages to only 8.2.x and higher.

  I added the add-on swatchy and a third called MixColors 2.0 application, but it does not show in Windows - Extentions.

  Does Creative cloud app says that the plugin is installed as mine.

  IAM using USB 8473 Receive messages on CAN Bus. For what Iam using CAN Receive.vi and Net Interface Logging.vi. IAM receiving messages correctly, but I have a problem in arbitration received IDS. If the current arbitration ID is 0 x 14FF0001 (Extended) then Iam receive as 0 x 34FF0001, and if the arbitration ID is 0 x CFF0127 then Iam receive as 0 x 2CFF0127. However, the channel in the frame information is correct. Can someone help me how to fix this problem. The first 2digits are 14 is dispalying 34 or if the first digit is C, it takes 2 c.

• Help? With the help of file system Ext3 on key USB on Linux RT target

  We have been affected by problems with the SD cards and USB drives formatted in FAT32 on some devices, according to Linus RT of long-term monitoring (mainly the cRIO-9035). It seems that readers are vulnerable to fluctuations in current and unexpected reboots (which are inevitable on these sites).   We have identified two solutions; implement both gives the best redundancy:

  (2) using the file system apparently more robust 'ext3', which is available on the target RT Linux (FAT32, ext2 and ext3) - don't have not so far:

  ->, I was not able to properly format a USB stick for ext3. I use the MiniTools Partition Manager and don't get any errors when create and format partitions. But they appear as 'read only' when it is inserted into the chassis of the RT. All attempts to access it, other than to observe the empty folder sdxx in ' / media "is returning errors.

  Someone had a bit of luck with the help of ext3 disks formatted as data drives on the objectives of the RT Linux? It is worthwhile to solve my problems or should I use FAT32 and the observed risk?

  I have a Vox Tonelab SE effects audio Board (around 2004), there the old serial midi on the back ports. I hung with the help of a USB MIDI interface cable.   There is a POWERPC application called ToneLabSE SoundEditor which I downloaded and installed in the hope he would install a driver but I guess that this obviously doesn't work on INTEL in any case. Using Wine I can run the PC version, but still no communication via midi.

  Solved! Using the WINE app I've run the version of the PC of ToneLab SE editor application. So pretty unintuitively by changing the serial midi to USB, SERIAL interface cables that went to the and out on the Tonelab SE. Now of the Se ToneLab editor I can write banks of programs to hardware Tonelab, but unable to empty the banks since the material Tonelab to software. My main desire was to use Expression pedals on the Tonelab as Midi Ableton controllers and some of the switches to the control of the Looper stomp. Now I can do it all. Hooray!
