WLAN Internet domain

I need help with my internet connection.

I have windows 7 Pro, connected to a network domain, and I have an outside my domain account local administrator account.

Internet connection through internet browsers have no problem. I am connected to a proxy server by the way.

Now I have problems with other applications requiring an internet connection especially Viber.

I already tried to open TCP and UDP ports, but it is still not good.

Is there a way I can do applications connect to the internet?

This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

If you give us a link to the new thread we can point to some resources it

  • It would work for a WLAN internet access?

    Hi, everyone, I have a few questions about how to implement public access to Internet in our workplace that would not allow access to our local network.  We have several access points 2702 and 2504 WLAN controller.  Two of the four interfaces on the 2504 have intellectual property in the ranks of our LAN subnets.  I assigned a VLAN for public access to the Internet, but do not know how I would implement on our infrastructure past.  Instead, I was thinking about a cable connected to one of the unused interfaces on the 2504 to a port on our DMZ switch and having traffic for the public Internet, out across the demilitarized zone.  If I had to do this way, but also created a scope DHCP for the public Internet, and the DHCP scope were on an interface that had an address on the local corporate network, customers would always get the address?  What is the best way to do it?

    A second question I have is about how the traffic between the access points and the controller is managed.  When a client connects to the access point, their traffic get dug to the controller and then thrown on the LAN, or the traffic goes to the local network directly from the access point?  The reason why I ask is that we have a remote office that we would like to manage the access point of the controller in the Office at home, but we do not want necessarily all their traffic going back or the office, if it was intended for office network at home, or if it is intended for the Internet.  The remote desktop has its own local internet connection and is just VPN'ing to the desktop at home for internal network traffic.  DHCP for clients at the remote office is managed by a DHCP server on the router on this effect.  A remote desktop access point connected to the controller in the head office would be able to use the DHCP server on the router to the remote desktop?  I test that out in a lab environment and I couldn't get it to work this way.  Remote desktop access point is currently running in mode independent and done a good job.  In the future, this site will also get on our MPLS and finally all traffic going to get dug towards the Home Office, including Internet access, so perhaps at that time, attach the remote AP to the controller would be better.

    Thank you!

     A second question I have is regarding to how traffic is handled between the access points and the controller. When a client connects to the access point, does their traffic get tunnelled to the controller and then dumped onto the LAN, or does the traffic go to the LAN directly from the access point?

    In local mode APs switch always centralized traffic, that is to say CAPWAP tunnel established between AP & WLC. If all traffic comments terminate at WLC connected switch.

    In your case, if you map the traffic comments-SSID to the physical port connects to the DMZ switch, guest SSID users end traffic to DMZ switch. You must ensure that traffic vlan is not go on any other connected WLC trunk ports.

    If AP mode FlexConnect, then traffic will end at the switch where AP connected locally.

  • Satellite A100: trouble for connections to the WLan internet at the use of current alternative

    I can't connect to the internet via a wireless connection, it is my laptop is in charge. If it uses no batteries, it connects fine. In addition, the cable connection to the modem works when the computer is using the battery or AC.

    The machine is a Satellite A100 Configfree running. I think that maybe that's the problem. A few times when I connect I get an error message on the cfserv.exe stop which is the executable Configfree. I tried to download a new version of configfree but I'm not sure that I need (there are 5 registered on the Web site for the A-100).

    Any suggestion?

    Hello

    You simply check the details of the laptop. There are various laptop A100 but there must also be a serial number on the label at the bottom of the unit.
    Then select the good laptop in the shape of pilot page.
    You select the operating system and download the new version of ConfigFree

    By the way: have you installed the latest version of Intel and tested WLAN connectivity?

  • No internet connection found WRT54G2

    I have modem BEFCMU10 and replaced my wired router (BEFSR41) with WRT54G2 wireless router.  I basically took all the connections between the wired router and put exactly the same thing in the wireless router and it does not find the internet connection.  I use Comcast cable if it has something to do with it.  So I put the wired router on and it works fine.  One thing... Photo and instructions says to use the BLUE cable to connect the computer to the router.  With the wired router, we used the BLUE cable to connect the modem to the router.  Right now, just trying to implement both our PC like wired and use the wireless for my Smartphone.  I buy adapters wireless at a later date for the PC.

    Thanks for any help you can provide.  It is much appreciated.

    Try this:

    1. check if you can get online directly connected to your cable modem.

    2. press and hold the reset of the router for 30 sec.

    3. cut OFF the power to your Modem and router.

    4. connect the Modem to the internet port on the linksys router then connect your computer to one of the numbered ports of the linksys router.

    5 turn on the power to your modem and wait 15 sec and then turn on your linksys router.

    6. check the LED - power/WLAN/INTERNET/ETHERNET PORT router

    7. check if you can get online wired to the router

    8. If it is online. Access the Setup page of the router by going to the 192.168.1.1 address using your browser then go to the submenu and choos MAC address Clone set it to activate and then press the CLONE button.

    9. check the State and get the IP Internet address. If you have an IP Internet check address so you can get online. Otherwise, try to renew IP. Still no Internet IP, contact Technical Support for Linksys

  • Loss of internet Vista

    I have a question as a lot, a lot of people had already posted on a computer Vista loses the internet connection.   My situation is slightly different from these other issues.   I work for a school district that I've seen this problem occur several times to the wire on a Vista computer.   Of course, we operate where the Vista computers are connected to a domain.   This problem occurs frequently when a Vista computer is automatically 'drop' internet access.   When this problem occurs, down in the lower right corner of the clock, the user will lose the globe icon bit which is before the two icons of the screen.   At this stage, you get 'local only' of access that the user still has access to the domain.   Now, you will receive a RED X between the world of internet domain and the icon.   If you click on the RED X to solve the problem, it never restores the connection.

    What is initially a Vista computer automatically loses the internet connection, but all in maintaining access to the field?

    What is the long term solution to prevent the problem of return?

  • Windows 7 cannot resolve the ip addresses of domain names

    I have a desktop computer that I built components purchased in a major computer store.  I got this system works well for several months, now.  Recently, however, I met a problem with one of the modules of memory of 2 GB.  I deleted (because it turned out to be defective) and, shortly AFTER his withdrawal, have another problem with the resolution of Internet domain name.  I have to say that I also installed my old Windows XP as an alternative OS and updated to sp3 (it is, in fact, that I use to access the internet and write this query).  As you can see, XP I have no problem with internet access or name resolution.  There are two other systems connected to the home network via wi - fi (one equipped with Windows Vista and the other a tablet PC running Windows XP Tablet Edition) and none of them have no access to the internet problem.  I ran ipconfig/release and / renew without any result.

    I did all the following: netsh winsock reset catalog
    netsh int ip reset reset.log
    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log.
    Still no access.
    I opened regedit and went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters and set the following registry value:
    Value name: IPEnableRouter
    Value type: REG_DWORD
    Value data: 1 (this is the only value I changed - from 0 to 1)
    I then exit regedit and reboot... still no access.  BTW: I noticed now that this entry (IPEnableRouter), nor any of its values, is no longer even exist in my registry.  I think it has something to do with my changing parameters of Cisco Linksys E1000 router to allow me access to my home network.  In addition, even if she says that I'm connected to my home network and the router, I don't see two other computers in the network, only the items that I share my desktop.
    I changed the "Preferred DNS server" to 208.67.222.222 as instructed in a possible solution I found on the web (in XP, of course) and, when it does not, changed to 208.67.220.220 instructions, but no.  Still nothing.
    I can access any Web site... IF I KNOW THE IP ADDRESS!  Unfortunately, my mind is not enough powerful or with enough RAM to remind all the IP addresses that I never go, not to mention every single IP address in the internet.
    If I had remembered to I have copied to Notepad (so I could then copy here) the results of an ipconfig/all command, but I didn't.  If this will help, let me know and I'll get it and post it.  I know that some errors I have received are 'Windows could not automatically detect the network proxy settings"and"registration of the DNS records failed.  The parameter is incorrect"and" an error occurred during the liberation interface Loopback Pseudo-Interface 1: the system cannot find the specified file. "
    Some of the results of an ipconfig/command all, I write down, such as those that came out as strange or maybe wrong.  They are as follows:
    Active IP routing: NO
    WINS proxy enabled: NO
    Host name: (empty)
    Suffix primary DNS: (empty)
    Node type: hybrid
    DNS suffix search list: News:[email protected] (Yes, I use Road Runner by Time Warner, and no, they were not able to help at all)
    Other results:
    ISATAP.KC.RR.com tunnel adapter
    State of the media: Media disconnected
    Card tunnel Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
    State of the media: Media disconnected
    Please keep in mind that all computers connected to this wireless router have no problem with access to the internet and this computer can access in Windows XP but not Windows 7.  In other words, is there anything wrong with the router and nothing wrong with the wireless network adapter.  Besides, I tried to reboot the router and even resetting (much to the chagrin of my other significant because she was not happy with not being able to access the internet until I was finally able to re - install the router)
    !).  I have also turned off my system, removed the card wireless adapter, waited for about 15 minutes, re-inserted in the PCI slot and return to market the system.  This, of course, did nothing, either.
    After the search for several days and trying various tactics and bugs as suggested all over the web, I'm at the end of my limited knowledge and patience with this problem.  Any help that will solve this problem and allow my Windows 7 to access, once again, the internet would be greatly appreciated.  As a last resort, I might have to re - install Windows 7, but I also read the posts where others have done so, but nothing helped. :(
    Thank you
    Lakusus
    The system configuration:
    Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium 32-bit of Windows XP Home Edition operating systems and in a dual-boot configuration
    Card mother ASUS M4A89GTD PRO series
    AMD Athlon (TM) II X 4 640 clocked at 3.49 GHz
    2.00 GB of RAM
    Linksys Wireless-G PCI adapt
    Graphics card XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750 card w/1 GB GDDR5 memory
    Two hard drives 1 TB SATA and a 250 GB HARD drive partitioned into a total of 10 discs
    Burner DVD HL-DT-ST DVDRAM

    In fact, I have since fixed my problem.  Believe it or not, it wasn't any major and detailed process.  It was a very simple thing that NONE of the resolutions on that I read even suggested might be the cause, so I don't even think to check it out.  Apparently, at any given time a week ago, or NAME of the COMPUTER, something erased my!  I forgot how I found this, but I think that I went to my device manager by double-clicking on the icon "Computer" and select 'Properties' and happened to notice that, under 'Settings of computer name, domain, and workgroup', the ' computer name: "and" full computer name: "fields were empty!

    SO, I clicked on 'Advanced system settings' on the left of the window properties, select the "computer name" tab (1st one at the top left of the window that has popped up) and down to "to rename this computer, click on change." I clicked on the button 'change... '. ».
    In the next window which displayed I got the name I initially chose for my desktop, clicked the button "More"... ' and 'News:[email protected]' in the ' suffix main DNS on this computer: "on the ground (as is my Internet service provider - others may be different) and ensured that the box"Change the suffix main DNS when the domain membership changes"has been checked.
    Then, I clicked OK on this window.  I then made sure that the "Working Group:" radio button was selected and typed "WORKGROUP" in the field below, then click 'OK '.
    Return to the window' system properties 'original, I clicked 'Apply' and 'OK' and then restarted my system.
    Windows 7 being loading, all of a sudden all these programs that were inactive for the past few days began to appear and load and update!  YAY! Laughing out loud
    So, the reason I went into detail about how I solved it is in case anyone else has this same problem, they can check and, if the computer name has also been deleted, follow these steps to correct the problem. Of course, you will need to contact your service provider (if other than the Road Runner by Time Warner) in order to obtain the primary DNS suffix.  I hope this will help others I do not go through the terror I lived not having access to the internet.  Aaaaarrrrggghh!  I MUST have my internet! LMAO
  • WIFI connects to the router but no internet connection on 15R 3521

    Hi, the new laptop 3521 with Win7 Pro the WLAN will connect to the selected wireless router but is unable to establish an internet connection.

    WLan Driver 1703 was duly installed once the Chipset driver was installed, as recommended.

    Fortunately, other mobile devices to connect to the same router. Ubuntu on this laptop was also happy to connect to internet on WIFI, only Win7 fails.

    Disabled the Win7 firewall, but no change. This connection, unidentified in the network and sharing Center.   Router SSID etc have been entered correctly. Remove the WLAN profile and not reinstated, no change.

    Tried to connect to another router wireless with the same result. I can only run this laptop on wired connection to the router.

    I am at a loss as to what other steps I could take to correct this key WLan / internet access.

    Any suggestions would be welcome. See you soon.

    Hi love,

    Thanks for your advice. I deleted the profiles (two identical found!), also removed all entries of all WiFi routers in Win 7 registry. This step has not resolved the problem.

    However, I found the reason for the connection problem and the solution is the following:

    In the wireless connected (TP-Link) router, wireless--> channel settings is set to 'AUTO' (which is to select automatically 20 MHz or 40 MHz).

    In the device driver Dell WLAN 1703 (properties--> advanced--> bandwidth 802.11 n, the value has been set on (ie the Atheros is the default!))  "20 MHz.

    Once I put the option value "20 MHz / 40 MHz Auto", the connection comes to life.

    What a relief!

    The question is now completely resolved. Thank you to all who have contributed.

  • NAT Loopback: Low broadband bandwidth

    Hello

    I have a first generation WNDR4500 as my lan, behind the internet gateway router.

    There is a server on the LAN and some customers (smartphones, computers) access from the LAN and WAN by using the internet domain name.

    I recently discovered that the bandwidth is very low, while the client devices are on the local network. When I change the server details on devices with a LAN IP address, the network speed is available. Therefore, I think that the loopack on the WNDR4500 NAT function does not work correctly and that it reduced the available less than 1 Mbps bandwidth. The internet connection is down: 40mbits / Up: 8 Mbit.

    I checked the QOS settings and everything seems fine, for example no. changes when inputing a lot on internet bandwidth.

    Has anyone experienced this problem?

    Thanking you in anticipation.

    The basis of engineering, the only way to get this to work is to use the IP address.

    There will be no update firmware to correct this, since the unit already is EOL.

    I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

  • What is a dns server?

    Hello, like all other issues I could not my search on the web on MSN to respond. He said he was do not connect the DNS. I had the web page to the top, but he did this the last time. I have a modem router (no comcast, cavalier) and I was wondering if it might be my internet provider? Thank you

    Hi MaryGross,

    The provider of Internet services (DNS, Domain Name System) is a standard technology to maintain the names of Web sites and other Internet domains. It is an Internet service that translates IP addresses into domain names.

    You can try to reset the modem or the router, and the check for the issue.

    a. disconnect the cable that connects the computer to the modem.

    b. turn off the modem / router.

    Note: If the modem or the router does not have a power switch, turn off the power to the modem or to the router.

    c. restart the computer.

    d. Once your computer has restarted, turn on the modem or the router, connect the cable from the computer to the modem or the router and restart the computer.

    e. make sure that all network cables are properly connected.

    f. start Internet Explorer.

    I would also ask you to contact the manufacturer of your modem/router to know how to reset a router or a modem.

    If you are always faced with the question, then you must contact the ISP for further assistnace.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • WRT320n disappear from network

    Hello, ives you a question.

    Week last ived had al ot of the problems with the router WRT160nV2 I changed the router Monday last with a new WRT320N. No problems and the downloadspeed of good wlan al start of 22 MB/s. It al works well until this morning I turned my laptop after 2 hours I put it and there is no connection. I look and the router gives no signal. All the lights are on and the wlan works. But when I want to look for connections it doesn't give my network.

    Now after 3 full reinstalled i ' VFD has an hour of wlan internet and connections disappeared again. The local network works with al downloadspeed of 35 mb/s which is the maximum speed of my internet connection.

    Thanks Rayman76.

    PS I'm Dutch so my English is not that good I apologize for that.

    I'm having exactly the same problem (and I'm also a Dutch citizen)!

    I would like to know the origin of the problem, this overheating of the material? And it will be solved by a firmware update...

    Thanks in advance.

  • WRT54GS router v.7 WILL NOT CONNECT

    Hello, recently my WRT54GS router v.7 has stopped working. I tried to reset it, but I still have no internet connection. Power, WLAN, Internet and connected Ethernet lights are on when it is connected, but I can't always connect to the internet. I'm running off my pathetic motorola modem. I even spend all the Ethernet cables to see if the cable has gone bad, it has worked. I have Windows XP, I don't have the installation disc, but I have a digital copy of it. Sometimes I play Xbox LIVE. I can't even connect to the network normally use, because it cannot be found. Can someone help me please?

    Who is your Internet service provider, I think you have to Hard Reset your router and re - configure the settings on it again. Press and hold the button to reset for a minute... Release the reset button... Unplug the router power cable, wait 1 minute and re-connect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...

  • Ethical signed always generates error unsigned on device

    Hello

    I built an application (BabyTracker) that publishes data to a device from rim over http to a url.  It works very well in the JDE and Simulator.  However, I get an error when I run the app on my device (even if I signed the app)...

    «Error at startup BabyTracker: Unsigned module 'BabyTracker' does not contain a class in com.rim (except com.rim.samples), net.rim, net.blackberry, java or jav»

    My development system consists of the following:

    * IBM PC under XP SP2

    * blackberry JDE 4.5.0.7

    * 8100-Vodafone-4, 5... Simulator 055 (uk)

    * Unit of Vodafone UK v4.5.0.55 (Platform 2.7.0.68) 8100

    * java 1.6.0_13 worm

    * import the accounts as follows:

    Net.rim.device.api.ui import. *;
    Net.rim.device.api.ui.component import. *;
    Net.rim.device.api.ui.container import. *;
    Net.rim.device.api.system import. *;
    Net.rim.device.api.i18n import. *;
    import java.util.Date;
    import java.util.Vector;
    Javax.microedition.io import. *;
    import java. IO;
    import java.io.IOException. *;

    The steps I am following are:

    1. create and test the app with 8100-Vodafone - 4.5... 055 Simulator (works fine)

    2 sign app by double clicking on the BabyTracker.cod file, by clicking on "Request".  The signature tool appears as shownin attached: sigtool.jpg.

    3. connect the device via USB

    4. run javaloader-u load c:\data\javadev\rim\babytracker\babytracker.cod... I enter the password, and the application appears on the device

    5. try to run the application and the following error: "error at startup BabyTracker: Unsigned module 'BabyTracker' does not contain a class in com.rim (except com.rim.samples), net.rim, net.blackberry, java or jav»

    Note: the JDE has not created a BabyTracker.csl file.  In reviewing this bbs, I noted that a missing file of csl is sometimes a problem.  I looked at the csl files that came with JDE application examples and noted that they contain one or both the following two lines:

    52424200 = RIM Blackberry Apps API
    52525400 = RIM API implementation

    then manually, I created the .csl file and added lines.  This has not solved the problem.

    Can someone advise me please know what steps I'm missing?

    Thank you very much

    EAN

    The error indicates that one of your classes is set in a system package. Say the package statement in BabyTracker.java?

    The convention is to use your internet domain written back to ensure that they are unique. If you own mydomain.com statement should look like:

    package com.mydomain.babytracker;

    If you don't have a domain, you can use your name. Not really unique, but probably close enough for a phone application:

    package eanhernandez.babytracker;

    Cheers, Barak.

  • WebEX meeting server authentication question

    Hi all

    We have configured the LDAP authentication integration in WebEx. We want to avoid the brute force attack and to minimize the use of the password of the internet domain, are there other methods of authentication?

    If we help to use stand-alone account WebEx, any policy password as complexity, duration and expiration date in WebEx?

    Thank you!!

    Danny

    Hey Danny,

    If you have activated the LDAP authentication and integration with CWMS (via CUCM), then your users profile directory using LDAP credentials to authenticate on CWMS. It is not possible to disable the requirement for active profile users authentication.

    There are two other user accounts on CWMS management methods:

    1. LDAP via SAML 2.0 integration (Single Sign-On), but that you have IIP provider accessible from the internet, would require that authentication would be on this end. You can read more here:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_7/Planning_Guide/cwms_b_cwms-planning-system-requirements-2-7/cwms_b_cwms-planning-system-requirements-2-7_chapter_0111.html

    2. using local profiles CWMS. With local user profiles, user accounts are created manually or by importing of CUCM (you can still have the integration Directory to import profiles of CUCM, but requiring users to use created locally passwords on CWMS (do not enable LDAP authentication)), and passwords are created manually by end users locally on CWMS. Regarding the strengthening of password, you can consult this document:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can not add or Edit Contacts from gmail account added by google apps

    Time ago I ve used to have only 1 mail account on my blackberry, a Gmail ([email protected]) and google sync (http://m.google.com/sync) allowing to synchronize contacts between the smartphone and the account webmail. It worked like a charm for a long time. At that time, I could create and edit contacts and changes got synchronized in both sites.

    A month ago I decided to create an e-mail address with my own internet domain name ([email protected]) through Google Apps, and decided to add this e-mail address to the smartphone to check both accounts. The first surprise came when I noticed that add that email address (using the procedure to add any email address) has caused the BB to activate, as mode of BES, against the gmail server.

    Suddenly, I discovered that I can't create or edit contacts in BB, but I can't get into the google apps email webmail interface. The contact created using the web interface is synchronized to the BB.

    The problem is that I can't create or edit contacts in the smartphone!

    Anyone know something similar to this?

    Any ideas will be greatly appreciated
