WNDR3400v3 connects 5G and ethernet but not not using 2.4 G

I have a WNDR3400v3 Wireless Dual Band router N600 linking is no longer in the band of 2.4 G, if security is enabled. The band of 5G and all ethernet ports work fine.

As I have 2 other 2.4 access point G in our hotel, I put an access point to channel 1, the other on channel 11, while the router (WNDR3400v3) is set to channel 6. This configuration has work very well for 3 1/2 months. Last week channel 2.4 G Router wouldn't let anyone connect. Laptops, iPhone or Android. If I disable the security that it will work and allows connections. Enable security, it will start all and every customer care cycling through the connection process. I changed the channel, reset the router, changed the password to nothing does not. I also updated the firmware to the last (V1.0.1.2_1.0.51). Anyone have any ideas? And if not, how can I get this thing replaced because obviously, it does not work as advertised. Thanks for your help.

@Vellu Looks like you have a defective unit.

Last resort might be re - download the latest firmware. You can always download the same version of firmware, it is called reflash.

If this doesn't fix it, then it's a defective unit.

    I have a desktop H8-1228 and 6510 e - printer.  I got both products at the same time.  I did the initial installation, and everything worked perfectly.  I was able to print of my HP Touchpad (the printer was on the floor and my Touchpad was down.).  Recently, I made a trip for two weeks.  I turned off the printer.  This seems to have been a mistake.  Now, he will only contact my network and Internet, but not the computer.  The Setup program keeps telling me that it is 'Impossible to find the printer' and that he wants me to check the IP address of the printer.  I did this many times by printing the HP's Configuration Page from the printer screen.  I also used Windows "Add a printer" without success.

    I have installed and uninstalled the software several times; every time that remove the icon of the printer and the Standard TCP/IP port in the "Devices and printers" section in Control Panel.  A few minutes earlier, I used Regedit to delete any reference to the series of HP Photosmart 6510 in the registry, believing that it could help my situation.  There can be no. :-(  I did the installation with the same problems that I had all the other times that I tried to install it.

    No help from you the printer experts will be greatly appreciated.  I'm not a novice as you can see.  This situation, however, launched my posterior. :-))

    You may want to enable disable all startup programs in msconfig until you are able to access the Web integrated printer server. It seems that there is something in the communication with the printer's operating system blocking. It will most likely software firewall or security related.

    I have a WRTG54S and Mediacom 12mbps. My router worked fine on my old laptop (a Dell Vista), he was sitting in a box for about 6 months and now that I have a new (Sony running 7) I can connect to my network, but not internet. I have updated the firmware of 7.6 to 7.8 without change. I have tried no security, wep and wap without change. Also, I cloned the MAC, once again no change. Windows cannot detect all problems, and when I try to activate the router to connect to the internet it always says connection failed. I can connect directly connected to the modem but not when connected to the router or wireless. Any ideas? Thank you

    OK, so I have a HP computer with the installed version of Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I've had it for almost 2 years now and have had no problems connecting to Internet... until now.

    I can connect to networks... both wireless and cable, but I can not get Internet. I used the IP, subnet mask, gateway and server settings DNS to another computer that works with this specific local network just to see what happens... my computer has failed.
    Until recently, I could connect to this WiFi connection in a coffee shop, but the last time I tried it didn't work. I've connected to the network but not the Internet. He told me that the DNS server did not. I'm starting to think that something is wrong with my computer.

    I saw that the solution for some people running the Norton removal tool, however I had uninstalled Norton almost as soon as I got my computer 2 years ago and ran McAfee instead. I don't think that Norton should have an impact on me more.

    Is there a solution to this problem... or I'll just have to try everything that is out there?

    Finally, my problem has been resolved - it wasn't my computer after all. The modem may only be connected to a computer. If you want to connect to another computer, you can connect the computer to the modem and then put it back. My computer worked fine after that. Whenever we want to switch between computers, even if I have to reset the modem.

    I don't think you have the same problem, but just in case, you can try to reset your modem - it's a button on the back or a small hole that you can reach with a pen... Hold the stylus for about 5 sec or maybe a bit more and then let go. That should reset your modem and might help you with your problem. Your computer should also have created a restore point... If all else fails maybe you can try to get back to the final point where your computer worked.

    I am running Windows 8.1, with the latest drivers and updates. My touchpad works when using Chrome and IE, but not other applications. He has never had this problem until today.

    "ok, strangest thing ever." Understand the question. The touchpad has become corrupted. I used the touchscreen keyboard Troubleshooter to solve another problem and voila! Rotation of restored Ezel. I think that Chrome is was as tactile keyboard operations from time to time, not sure. But I know that I fixed my problem. No expenditure necessary.

    From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.  Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.  Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

    Restart the computer and you should find that the documents have been deleted.

    It is the way to do it.   Either you must be part of the root group to be given to the role admin (or a bespoke) at the level of the host to access the DCUI.

    If you create a user is added to the root group, but is assigned all permissions (either singularly or through a group) on the host then, then the user will be able to connect to the DCUI but not the client vSphere (or any other method of the API).

    Sorry, but you can't permantely delete IE (I wish we could) beacause its part of the core of the Windows operating system.
