Work graphics card PCIE 3.0 on 1.0 pcie without bios can be updated

In my case... It IS THE card mother ECS alhena gl 6

Hello:

I would look at this link. I already have it filtered for PCIe 2.0 cards.

http://www.Newegg.com/product/ProductList.aspx?submit=Ene & N = 100007709% 20600007855 & IsNodeId = 1 & name=PCI%20Express%202.0%20x16

Since your laptop's hardware ATI you can stick with an AMD/ATI video card, but it is up to you.

You can further filter on the left side of the page by price, seller, etc.

Read the comments, and select the map that you think will work best for you.

Keep in mind the 450W P/S.

I'd stay away from all the cards that need additional power other than the PCIe slot.

My only recommendation would be to choose a card with a memory of 128-bit vice interface a 64 bit one. Those who will give the best performance normally.

  • My m7680y can support graphics cards PCI requiring 2 screws/slots?

Or two slots? Im not sure what the technical term is... Im trying to buy a geforce 9800 and it requires 2 slots. I would like to make room for two slots after I remove my old pci card, but ill have come down the sound card. While matter where the sound card?

While there is great space (two locations), the case probably sleeps, assuming that there is nothing in the way insofar as this would be towards the front of the case.  I think the sound card works OK in any PCI slot, to answer your question on that.  The main concern I would have is the power that this video card is vs. What can provide the power supply.  When they start the list of food that is able to support the card, I start to wonder.  See here:http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_9800gx2_pwr_supply.html

I guess depends a little on which in this range of models (GeForce 9800), but you might want to consider getting a diet very capable before putting a card like this in you computer.

Everytime I turn on my PC display is buggy and every time (every day), I have to hold the power button to turn off the PC, turn off the power to the rear... wait 30 seconds or two and then turn it on again.

Then only the screen works fine.

Can someone help me with this please?

    Hello

Your system use on-board graphics until you have added the new video card? If so
/ Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 because you start - make sure onboard graphics
are disabled. Or if you had an older video card make sure that it has been removed.

Maybe you should remove ALL power and remove and reinsert the video card.

    I hope this helps.

Research in the internet, I found just 1 card graph similar to mine. But I don't know if it will work, because I read that the devices must be exactly the same as the original:

    c918 http://www.eBay.es/ITM/New-Toshiba-A000013050-NVIDIA-G73M-128MB-GeForce-Go-7600-Video-Graphics-Board-/360821279000?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&Hash=item54029f & _uhb = 1

I asked the seller eBay on compatibility and his answer was: "Please contact Toshiba for the complete product compatibility." But Toshiba does not provide any support after the expiration of the warranty (in Spain).

Anyone replaced this graphics card? Do you think I should buy the graphics card of this ebay? Are there other solutions? (for example: replacing the entire motherboard...)

    Thanks a lot in advance.

I never had to replace a graphics card in a notebook, but I wouldn't buy any part if I m not 100% sure if it would be compatible with my laptop.

Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.

The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.
This might be the reason not to buy this piece.

  • CQ5110y - new graphics card not detected

I have a cq5110y that I am trying to upgrade the graphics on.

I just installed a bigger power supply and is working on the installation of a Sapphire Radeon R7 240, but when I turn on my computer it does not detect the new hardware.  Am I missing a step?  Or is the card DOA?

The steps to install the new card were quite simple--plug it into the PCI-e slot and connect the monitor.  There was a note to disable any integrated first graphic, so I put the display to PCI-e in the BIOS.  Is that all I had to do to disable the integrated graphics card?  I think that this could be my problem?

Your Compaq Presario CQ5110Y desktop uses a chipset NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 seems limited to the PCI Express 1.0 version.  PCIe v1.0 is compatible front of PCIe v2.0.  PCIe v2.1 and above is not backwards comptible with your motherboard. Your Sapphire Radeon R7 240 seems to use a PCIe v3.0 card and is therefore not compatible with your computer. Please return the card for a graphic card PCIe v2.0 solve your problem.

  • 500 MT b: new graphics card

    Hello

I was wondering if it is possible to run a new graphics card, PCIe 3.0, on my motherboard 2A8C, who has PCIe 1.0 or 1.1?

If this is the case, do I need a specific update some drivers?

    Kind regards

    Milan Todorovic

E PCI 3.0 is fully backward compatible (according to my research of wikipedia), so this should work.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h9-1100: Installation of the graphics card... Screen is not displayed. NEED SERIOUS HELP!

Hi, so I recently got a new "XFX Radeon R9 285" graphic card PCI - E 3.0 and installed in my PC, I went to start it and the screen does not light. The PC boots, the fans run and everything just no display. It works with two other Radeon PCI-E graphics cards, but it does not start. 285 graphics card works in another computer, but will not work on this one. I tried to uninstall the old graphics card drivers and no luck.

    PSU: 600w

Thank you for the additional information.

Since you had the card running in another computer, you must have connected the two power connectors 6 pins.

  • Satellite L650-BT2N23: reading Blu - ray as part of the Intel HD graphics card

I'm considering the purchase of the Satellite L650-BT2N23 with Blu - ray player, but it does not come with a discreet graphics card.

My only option is the integrated graphics card Intel HD, and I fear that Blu - ray playback can suffer.

Can someone give an opinion on this?
    Thank you.

    Hello

Please read some information on the page of Intel on the Intel HD graphics chip.
The chip is called HD because it is able to process HD video which means it should eb strong enough to work with the blu - ray!

So in your case I wouldn't be afraid. The graphics chip is OK for video content high definition!

    Hello

Unfortunately it is not possible to change the graphics card. It s fixed/soldered on the motherboard and can't be exchanged. Sorry, but it is not possible to s.

But if you only need a better resolution of the screen, you can connect an external monitor. Here, you can work with a higher resolution if your monitor supports it.
