  • Adding contact by phone to a Skype conference call

    If I started a Skype conference call, how can I add another person by phone? "Add people to a conversation" seems only add people on Skype. I want to add people to the phone and if I dial their number on everyone's hand.

    I have Skype on a Mac 5.3.59.1093.

    Thank you

    I think I found the answer myself. Click Add people, type the number of the phone (instead of name) and press return. And voila'. Hitting back is the trickiest part. Hit the space bar wouldn't.

    It is not clear; It should be in the help!

  • The IPAD conference call

    Hello

    I just bought a subscription in order to use Skype on my iPad to make calls conference with colleagues. I can't find a way to add more than one participant on the iPad app. I can't find all the information on the site that says if it's even possible? Everyone knows how this can be done?

    Thank you

    This is now possible, but there are compromises. First remove the Skype for IPAD. Then install the Skype for iPhone on the IPAD. To do this, you need the latest version of IOS on your IPAD. After installation, you will be able to initiate a conference call. Now the compromise: Iphone version the initial screen is in landscape and only when you start a call he spends in portrait mode.

  • Remove participant number of Conference call logs.

    Hi all

    I want to delete any number of participants of conference call logs programmatically. I had a class in which I implement PhoneLogListener interface.

    {} public void callLogAdded (CallLog callLog)
    TODO self-generating method stub
    NewLog ConferencePhoneCallLog = new ConferencePhoneCallLog)
    new Date (callLog.getDate () .getTime ()), callLog.getDuration (), callLog.getStatus (),.
    New PhoneCallLogID ((callLog (ConferencePhoneCallLog)) .getParticipantAt (0) getNumber()).
    New PhoneCallLogID ((callLog (ConferencePhoneCallLog)) .getParticipantAt (1). getNumber()), callLog.getNotes ());

    If (newLog.numberOfParticipants () > = 2) {}
    newLog.removeParticipantAt (1);
    }
    }

    is it possible to do? Help, please...

    creating an instance isn't the right thing to do.
    you get the added object callLog, check if it is a ConferencePhoneCallLog (instanceof), then remove the participant.

    You may need to remove the object from the list and add new, try everywhere.

    Note I've known problems by doing this directly, I used a thread sleeping for 1 second with success. Try it with a simple approach first well.

  • Conference call

    What is the class to establish a conference call?

    There is no direct access to him.
    You can use some hacking to do anyway.

    in a phonelistener, you can access the screen of the phone using Ui.getActiveScreen.
    Now you must edit the English locale (if she isn't already) and browse the menu screen items.
    Use the run method of the menu item to run the point.

    If you save the listener in an autostart part you have access to the screen of the phone in your application, at least if the listener was shot at least once.

    and don't forget to feel at least a little dirty.

  • Jabber drops Conference calls

    Hey guys,.

    When I attempt to start a conference call with my client jabber mode phone (!), the third called phone rings for half a second, and then the call is abandoned. The call between the 2 'callers starting"can continue.

    From Conference calls with our deskphones is possible without any problems.

    We lack a CUCM, CUC and a CIMP in version 10.5. Jabber is version 9.7.2...

    Hope you can help me with this.

    Thanks in advance!

    Pier.

    Hi, do you have list of media resources with the conference applied to your jabber resource? You have the same problem for internal and external calls? Kind regards.

  • How to activate the right to remove a participant from a conference call using SX20

    Hi all

    I saw the SX20 user guide at a conference it ´s possible to remove a participant from a conference (http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/quick-set... - page 29), but only the "entitled" users can do.

    How can I give right to a user to do? I not found this function the SX20 configuration screen or the configuration of the CUCM device.

    You are right. This is a conference SLBA as the top of the page "Conference calls with several Participants", that said, it's most likely a conference on a telepresence server, this capability is available with ActiveControl.

  • Does anyone know where heard anything on a tech support company called CodeDefend? If so, are they legitimate?

    My system stagnating earlier today after an unsecured site navigation and has been invited to call support immediately and warned to not stop or restart my computer because this would cause it to hang indefinitely. So I called the number that pops up on the screen and got connected to a CodeDefend tech, who has access to my computer to fix my problem, which of course, I had to pay (hoping that I was not scammed). He scanned my computer and found precarious foreign addresses then it downloaded and run both Ccleaner and Malwarebytes and now my computer seems to work very well. I also downloaded the latest version of the system OS Sierra software to improve the overall performance of my system. I tried to do a search on Google of CodeDefend and could not find information or comments about their services. Has anyone here used CodeDefend before, and they are safe to use?

    Pop ups are scamware.

    Giving an unknown entity on your computer is questionable at best.

  • Concern about the authenticity of a support phone call unsolicited Microsoft

    I received a number of phone calls in the last 24 hours from a caller, saying: it's from Microsoft to support me to eliminate the error messages alert red and yellow of my hardrive system (offline). They are willing to talk to me through this process on the phone.  I'm afraid that it is an appeal from the scam. Can you tell me if Microsoft does indeed support calls at t customers its nature or if I should ignore this caller if they ring again.

    j* address email is removed from the privacy *

    It's a scam.  Next time you receive such a call tell them you know it's a scam, you tell your friends to be wary, and you have contacted law enforcement and allowed your phone to watch to help apprehend the scammers.  Bet your calls will stop.

    And congratulations to not fall for this scam... a lot of people to fall and suffer pecuniary damage to do.

  • It is usual to technical support to call a client and tell Windows that their computer was in great danger from viruses?

    I received a call today a stone that identified himself as Windows Support calls.  He informed me that my Windows program was in danger of crashing, and if I went on my computer immediately he could walk me through the steps to correct this situation.  I refused, and he said he'll call again tomorrow.  I also Norton Antivirus installed on my computer, and according to the latest analysis today, there is no serious problems.  So, my question would be support personnel Tech Windows do actually contact customers or should I consider this a scam?

    Thank you

    This a complete scam and one that has become very common these days. . Don't think anything such a caller said, do nothing that he tells you to do and hang up on him immediately.

    At let them into your computer? If you did you are at serious risk for what they could have done it (installed spyware? Steal the passwords?), and I highly recommend that you do the two following:

    1 reinstall Windows properly

    2. change all your passwords, especially those of the financial institutions and online stores.
