Workspace stop working after changing the IP?

Hi, I installed 11.1 EPM using settings standard tomcat. I can connect to all the components installed via the installed after initial workspace (planning, EPMA, SS)

I stop the server and then restarted in a network segment different (different IP address.)

I started all the services correctly without problem.

However, when I run the workspace, it only will authenticate "you must provide a valid user name and password... »

I used admin and a fully stocked user, no luck

I can connect to the EPMA thru 19091/awb via the account listed above 2.
I can access shared Services using the account listed above 2.
I can start connection through 55000/MCC and CMC using the account listed above 2

I can't connect through the workspace

Can someone tell me how to authenticate the work space? What are windows services should rely on. What config file controls the use of workspace hostname and port at the start of the agent and the webapplication.

I ran the EMP validator and all services returned ok EXCEPT the workspace. Seems impossible to connect to the Shared Services with a Java.lang.exception java.net.connectexception: connection refused

So it's either an IP or port config I messed up. What config file is responsible for this?


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello

It should automatically put in the host name if you entered that I know on the first versions of the system 9 workspace even if you put in a host name, that it would have in an ip address, but this has been resolved.

When you first run the Setup program and it should show whether or not it includes the host name

    My speakers worked very well before I went.   I tried updating the driver but he came back with "best driver already installed.  It is a desktop PC, it is about 6 years old, but has been revised, graphics card new, updated to power, new 4 GB ram I think.  The hard drive is 1 TB.   I'm running Windows 7 Pro.  I forgot to mention, if I open a WMV file and volume in the taskbar commands, I see the green light moving.  The green light on the actual speakers turned on, just no sound.  It seems to me that the old speakers do not like the new modem from Time Warner. (I'm an old lady, what the devil I know)

    It is a question of another driver, or is it something else?

    Are plug you the speakers into the modem?

    They must be connected in making your computer speaker, usually a light green color (read the manual of the machine). Go to control panel / sounds / playback and make sure that the type of speakers you selected as the default device.
    Audio device drivers updated its better to not use MS Update (it is not). Re-post giving your machine make name and exact model number (for example HP, Inspiron, ABC1234 etc.).

    I have the Foglight for SQL Server cartridge. I recently changed the service account that is running the SQL Server engine and SQL Server Agent from a local account to a domain account. Everything works fine on the SQL Server side.

    No configuration changes have been made on the Foglight end, and none should be necessary Foglight is configured to use a separate service for SQL account both OS level followed. This account has always been in the local "Administrators" Group on the database server, as well as a "sysadmin" on the side of SQL Server server role.     I found the working version, and it is version F.08.

    Supposedly new version have different Active cables, and this is the reason why the screen is dark.

    So, case closed, everything is perfect.

    I got in the OEM recovery partition.
    I am also able to create a recovery using the Windows tool unit.

    Sorry to hear about all this. Unfortunately, you now have a big problem. I don't understand why you didn't create support of recovery before you started to change the factory settings, including to change the structure of the partitions of HARD drive.

    Mobile offered with factory settings a structure specific partitions and recovery recorded image is saved on the partition of drive specific and marked with invisible markers. These markers are visible for preinstalled Toshiba recovery media creator tool and when you start the tool can find points of reference and has full access to specific files.

    Unfortunately, after changing the original scores structure Toshiba tool cannot find these markers more and is not able to copy files from recovery media recovery. What you need now is the original recovery disk. Using this disk, you can install original recovery image and after doing this, you will have new factory settings.

  • IR remote stops working after that the system will switch to standby

    IR remote no longer works after that the computer goes to sleep.  I use Windows Media Center (Vista) to the TV and use the remote a lot.  The ONLY way to make it work is to restart the machine, which is a PITA.

    In the device, here is what is displayed Manager...

    Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)

    I tried uninstalling, reinstalling the driver, unpluging the receiver IR USB, displacement of ports, etc., the software MS difficulty he tried, but nothing works.  It allows to work all the time, but these last few months, you must restart the computer to operate the remote control.

    This error message indicates to the Intel graphics driver.

    Because you tried to update the Intel graphics card, you can try to perform a clean boot and check if the problem persists.

    A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

  • HP 6520 will not work after changing the black ink cartridges

    Changed the cartridges and now black ink will not work. This is the second or third time only to change the cartridges - did not have a problem before, but of course, it is while the printer was still under warranty. It is now about a year and a half.

    I used all the suggested diagnosis - head cleaned, head aligned, etc, etc, etc, and nothing has helped.

    The black cartridge worked after the swap, but with a few lines do not print or missing--now produces almost nothing.

    It happens on Windows, because the drop-down list with blend modes remains highlighted or active (around the blue line). You can press ENTER to confirm and delete the highest point around blend mode dropdown or use keyboard shortcuts to change the layer blending mode. To change the layer blend mode, you must have selected layer and then press Shift + Alt + letter for the blend mode. This shortcut does not work in the case where the tool you are using have mode option in the blending Options bar.

    I've updated Workstation version 8 to 10.  I had several virtual machines of Windows 7 x 64 I then updated with the latest VMWare tools (v9.6.1.1378637).  Now, one of the virtual machines will not automatically resize correctly.  (Three other virtual machines with the same o/s resize correctly and with Windows Server 2008 resizes correctly.)  Workstation is set to Autosize > Autofit guest.  The resized correctly VM before VMWare Tools has been updated.  In other words, the auto resizing feature worked for the virtual machine within the 10 workstation when the previous version of VMWare Tools was installed.  Upgrade VMWare Tools triggered behavior.  When I use the 'Fit Guest Now' view of the virtual machine command flashes but does not resize.  When the my computer window is resized, the prompt is not resized.

    I tried the following:

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled VMWare tools.
    • Confirmed VMWare Tools (vmtoolsd.exe) is set to start automatically and runs.
    • Changed the display of the virtual machine settings to a custom resolution and then to 'host to use setting for monitors '.
    • Attempted to change the resolution of the guest, but he won't go high 1920 x 1440 (it should be set to 2556 x 1496 based on the resolution of the other virtual machines that resize correctly).

    Update of material compatibility on the virtual machine to which auto resize has stopped working has helped auto resize again.  Hardware compatibility was 6, 5-7.x.  I've updated to be compatible with 10.

    The question remains as to why three other similar virtual machines (with the same compatibility level of 6, 5-7.x) should not be updated so that the automatic resizing to work.

    I didn't want to answer my own question but hope this helps people who have encountered this particular problem.
