Said Microsoft security scanner that trojanclicker:Win32 / Yabector.a partially removed. How to completely remove the thing. Must be simple enough for me to be able to manage it. Help!
Hello
You do not specify your version of Windows. This troubleshooting should work with Windows 7
Vista or XP.If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
cause. No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean. It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run

Having the virus that made the laptop unusable. Microsoft safety scanner ran and he removed three other viruses but it's only partially removed but doesn't tell me how to get rid of completely. Under XP. Apreciate any help.
Honestly, this is not the appropriate forum to deal with malware as serious as Alureon and its variants. I would recommend that you post your question in the support section of the malware from the forum on the link below. Alueron is a rootkit malware and should be treated using the interactive help trained. The forum is completely free, although you must register to post. This requirement prevents "spamming" and drive - by display.

Microsoft Safety Scanner detects Vista Security 2012?
Looking for advice please... My nan recently had Vista Security 2012 on his cell phone, which has been deleted... But its made me paranoid.
I have Microsoft Security Essentials on mine, all of this to this day and I do 3/4 analyses fast and 1 full scan weekly. I downloaded Microsoft Safety Scanner yesterday but wonder if that would detect Vista Security 2012.
Microsoft safety scanner uses the same definitions as Microsoft Security Essentials. You get a lot to run both. If you want a second opinion, use something like the free MalwareBytes anti-malware or SUPERAntiSpyware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free
http://www.SUPERAntiSpyware.com/
For the really paranoid, you can run a scan offline without booting Windows. It must defeat malware that hides itself using a rootkit.

I scanned with MSE, Microsoft Security Scanner, Spybot S & D and nothing's going to get rid of this virus. At this point, Microsoft Security Scanner is the only one to recognize the presence of the virus. The rest say that the computer is clean. Help me please!
Thank you

I downloaded the Scanner Microsoft, ran, and as he ran, he came twice to the top with a message box read, "If you cancel the analysis, the tool doesn't scan and clean your computer. Malicious or unwanted software that the tool can help to eliminate can be left on your computer. Are you sure you want to cancel? "I don't understand why it would come once and even twice, because I didn't click anything while the scan is running. I stopped the scan and disconnected my cable modem and then ran the scan, get the same message twice again. A reflection as to why it appeared? XP Home Edition / 32-bit.
